- Invasion Season 1 Episode 6 review from the Salty Nerds have them declaring Home Invasion as both the best AND worst episode of the season. But how does that make any sense?
Well, it's the best episode in the sense that stuff actually happens. It's the worst in the sense that all the characters are ridiculously stupid.
This episode follows Aneesha Malik as she returns to her family while an alien is stalking them inside the house they're staying at. Lots of B-horror movie tropes are used, and we discover a way to actually kill the aliens! Hoorah!
This Invasion episode 6 breakdown has Danny the Dork Knight Ballard joining the discussion, and he's not happy about having to watch this show! (Not that we blame him.) Also, Jude creates a drink that perfectly encapsulates how Invasion tastes - like poop.

How is this podcast shorter than the show but flys by but the show felt like hours
I think this episode of the podcast was longer than this particular episode of the show. Like I said on air, It’s such a bad show it’s fun to have our discussions about how shitty it is.
Invasion Episode 6 ??? I thought I was watching A Quiet Place #5 the straight to DVD production..
Not seeing the show, it sounds something like a creator saw the walking dead, and then saw how well the quiet place did, and thought to himself this would be a good mesh up

I think I nailed down the problem: no SPECIFICS!
HOW are they invading? Those parasites? Direct attack? OR WHAT??
I remember the creator of Babylon 5 (which had a lot of mystery in it) saying you can't drag mystery put too long "there has to be payoff"

don't enjoy the little bit of suspense from "home invasion" for too long. The next episode will be again to fall asleep =)

Speaking of which... this reminds me of that "horror" movie with Kane, the characters were so sucky I rooted for Kane to kill them the whole movie lol

37:10 I was mostly in agreeance with all the takes until it was said that Foundation was a good show. Foundation is hot trash. It does the exact opposite of Invasion and moves way too fast through its storylines.

Hm, yeah, it's not good but I realy like the genre. Sadly it realy isnt a good show. That beeing said, I'm surprised how many bad shows get dropped that have a somewhat high budget and nice screenplay.

don't understand why this show gets so much hate, finally some one tries the alien invasion genre again in a decent way , ok the writing an actors could be better , but i'm enjoying this.
btw , reloading under stress can cause you to freeze on the spot because your mind is only focused on that task. they actually did this right with the old dude , we don't know how we would react in these situations

@@DutchButters i'm just an "Alien Invasion" movie/series fan , i may have liked battle los angeles a bit to much to , but still i think we are to spoiled these days. i like the way the slowly reveal these things and not trow em in your face in the first half hour of the show.
don't know if you guys ever watched "Falling Skies" , that show did it much better but still
Watch the studio canal’s war of the worlds show, you’d see how much of a dumb rip-off this show is.
Speaking only fir myself. My problem is we see nothing of the invasion...I like the looking at the alien stuff from ground level (though they should have some of leaders and space agency people too to show contrast in what people see or know)...but their interplay is personal melodrama more than reacting to what's happening
@@DutchButters keep in mind because Apple is involved it’s going to become polarized so basically be prepared for that.
I sat through 41 minutes of you guys talking, I had to fast forward the 30something minutes of this ass show.

The French war of the worlds adaptation series which was horrible, was way better than this series. The British version is a lot better.
That's usually true of all TV shows. lol. British TV is awesome.
@@SaltyNerdPodcast true. Invasion took some of the elements from the 2019 war of the worlds series for their show. You guys can check it out, though there might be no need reviewing it, not a lot of people watched it. Wasn't really exceptional lol.

I watched 5 minutes of you guys saying "it was bad" and gave up hope that I was going to hear anything more than just "did we say this was bad? hahahaha. Oh, it was bad. hahahaha.
