Deadman Pass Peak marks the Alberta/BC border in the Crowsnest area and provides a long, obvious route along its south ridge and a fun scramble to the summit. I pedaled by bike along the Deadman Pass atv trail to access the base of the mountain. Very high winds made the day more challenging that it otherwise would have been.

The Crowsnest is always crazy windy hard to go there when it isn't. So much History in that area, I hope you summited Frank Slide on your journey
Thanks Jerry, I definitely learned about the wind this time out!
I didn't make it to the top of Frank slide but I did poke around the bottom
Luke your beard grew in nicely & it kept you warm in the wind
Yep, that's half the point!
Wow those peaks look so quiet and serene in the sunshine that it's hard to imagine the winds could be so wicked. Amazing views. Great video. 👍
Ya exactly, it's a completely different experience to being in the valley!
Your channel is so under rated, thanks for another great vid

Hey Luke, It felt like you were on top of the world. Your partner was with you every step of the way - you can tell he's your buddy.
Born and raised in northern Idaho, I have always loved going up into BC and then over to the Canadian Rockies. I think it's one of the most beautiful places in the world. Thanks for taking us along.
Good summit Luke, if you're ever on Vancouver Island we should hike a mountain, shoot a video 📷
For sure, I'd like to do Mt Arrowsmith
Welcome to my neck of the woods. Good effort with the crow. I have seen ice up there in September.
Thanks, ya it's not an easy mountain, that's for sure!
GREAT TO SEE YOU AND NINA IN MY BACK YARD ! THE CROW 'S A NICE HIKE / SCRAMBLE IN THE SUMMER .... ON A WINDLESS DAY . ( DON'T KNOW IF YOU COULD GET A DOG UP THROUGH THE CHIMNEY PART THOUGH . . . . )-( MAYBE ONE YOU CAN CARRY ) LOVE YOUR VIDS. ;-))
Thanks! Nina is pretty capable, don't underestimate her!
Gracias por dejarnos disfrutar de tus rutas.
Another awesome adventure! You’re a braver man than I for sending the drone up in that wind 😯. I can only imagine the warnings it was sending you haha.
Thanks Roland! I kept the drone just in the lee of the ridge and under that invisible wall of wind
dope video. keep killing it!
Thank you for this great adventure
Thanks for watching!
epic !
Groovy tunes in this one! Nice work Luke!
Thanks Nico, these were like the wind gusts that you camped in, haha
Been on top of Crowsnest. Good to see that you are wearing proper footwear. You have a helmet, how come Nina doesn't have one? Only fair that she should have her own!!! LOL
Fun stuff. I like the song at the end.
thanks broski
Hey man if you’re in the Kootenays this summer let’s get out for an adventure. I’m in Salmo now.

Ha ha I'm watching you dreaming of being back out west, and your wearing an Algonquin Park shirt. Or at least that's what it looked like. Have you hooked up with Foresty Forest. You guys seem like you'd get along quite well
Yep, Algonquin is one of my fav places in Ontario. Haven't met up with Forest yet but I'm open to it
Hi
Where did the burger come from?
