  • Thalassarche genera: the Mollymawks seen on the #Flocktomarion2022
    Grey-headed Albatross (Thalassarche chrysostoma)
    Indian Yellow-nosed Albatross (Thalassarche carteri)
We missed out on the recorded Atlantic Yellow-nosed, but getting every record was impossible. Once again, the Weather at marion was Savage, and we missed out on this unique opportunity on the greatest stage in the Sea birding world due to an Impending Storm. Let's hope that the Mouse-Free Marion project gets underway in 2025 so that these majestic birds can thrive.
The grey-headed albatross soars gracefully through the open skies, its wings spanning wide as it rides the currents, embodying a sense of majestic freedom in its flight.
