“Rush is now a permanent addition to the game” is one of those step-back realisation of how weirdly launched this game was.

It’s time we stop looking back at the issues the game launched with and start looking forward at the new and great additions to the game.

Only gameplay mode I play too, nothing else compares for me in BF.
when you consider that this game had no campaign, no substantial amount of weapons or content in general, and yet we're still being drip fed 1/4 of the amount of dlc compared to previous battlefields, it really sets a precedent for the future of this franchise.
I tend to play very late at night, so I sometimes play with a lot of AI bots. Happy to report, Dice has programmed nearby medic bots to get into a vehicle and drive off rather than revive. Very realistic.

Positive step in the right direction BUT dice needs to stop with the ships and cargo containers and just bring back more destruction like destructible buildings and objects
A proper city map like Strike at Karkand, Siege of Shanghai or Amiens would nicely change up the grassy plains, container pileups and washed up shipwrecks seen in about every map so far..

unpopular opinion: Battlefield 5 could have been the best battlefield if they completed all of the theatre’s of war.

That rate of fire issue you noticed with the lmg isn’t isolated to that gun for sure. They all hitch or something if you go full auto at completely random times, I notice it especially with the SCAR, think you’re right that it’s server side but it’s been going on for months so they’re either not aware or can’t fix it.
went in, grinded the M16A3 and M60. In what world do the devs think that putting a constant bombardment of a task would give u a good experience for the new map. gotta check it out week after.
The mini gun specialist could have additional value if he could mount on the light vehicles,maybe without the shield plate in that case for balance
I played it for a little bit today and had fun, but like other than trying out the new content a few times I don’t think I’ll stick around playing it everyday!

played 5 hours and had a blast. got to tier 20, unlocked the m16 almost the m60 and really really enjoying the Ram. all in all the game is going in the right direction and ill be here to finish out this battle pass
It's curious how this game actually has a kind of unique and untouched story subject in FPS games, and then it ends up not having a single player campaign. Such a weird move...

For me it's good now, definitely better than cod if they will improve even more I think will be quite good game.
C. Crawford being a spy/operative would have been the perfect opportunity to be counter-intel (map deception/disruption), especially with getting spotted every 5 seconds everywhere you go...

It's not always paik for locations revealed I use the proxy sensor it's a ball you throw and enemies show up on the map or I use caspers drone to spot enemies for my team
This game may not be able to pull a bf4 but they’ve really improved it and made it fun

Wasn't keen on the M16 or M60.. both need a good workover.
M16 feels like it fires its load way to quick whilst the M60 struggles to spit enough.. maybe it's just being used to the other guns 🤔
Other than that the maps got a real meat grinder vibe which is a nice feeling from the OG locker/metro days.
Happy to see the game turning a wide corner.

Nothing is enough to save this game.
Not vibing with 128 players still, I'd really rather they kept it to 64. Just because the game can handle more players doesn't mean they should.
If they *really* wanted to increase the player count, I feel like they could get away with 40 per team.
But 32 v 32 just feels like it already fits so well, so why touch it?
connection and hitreg on 124 is terrible compared to 64 players imo
its because the map design sucks. Im sure if they still had a genius map designer they could make it work. Unfortunately it seems like all the real talent left or was just hired temporarily...
I guess if you'd like to run around ghost maps and find someone every now and again sure

The guns in battlefield 2042 looks like Minecraft and the sounds it makes is like shooting BB guns
The m320 I'd imagine is the same as the underbarrel GL on the scar. Both 40mm rounds.

Except still, the one thing they’re so well known for is completely missing… destruction. I mean if I were to play this game I’d probably send a rocket at a wall knowing enemies are behind only to be reminded how ridiculous it is to have a BF game with such little destruction.
Its a very good direction... I honestly have been really enjoying the new stranded map. Once they bring classes and maybe some more UI updates and more maps the game really will be much stronger.
The issue is they won't, the game is dead unfortunately. The devs are doing the least to release 4 seasons so they don't get a lawsuit but after that I don't think they will release any content.

I played it again yesterday and the new map is awesome. Really like the smaller maps so that you don't have to run for miles and miles and then get killed by a vehicle or camper. Really hope for more of these maps. Gunplay also feels a lot better.
Agreed. I like the CQC however I do think it is a bit tight even for CQC but overall decent map in my opinion
Definitely agree!! I love the new am40 assault rifle! The m16 needs a lot of work before it’s even useable at mid range… but I can’t wait to get my hands on that new sidearm & lmg! 😎

Did anyone notice the reload animation of AM40 is a bit different from 2042 norm, the tactical reload? I miss the different reload animations from previous bf games...

The m320 grenade launcher Is mounted at an upwards angle. That's why it appears to go up first.
The Evil West game looks mint with vampires and demons and you switch between melee/whip and gun combat seamlessly set in wild west it's called Evil West looks it up, won't be disappointed

Has anyone else noticed that with the AM40 the standard magazine doesn't give you 30 rounds? It only gives you 20 like with the high power. Dice please fix.

I was playing BF2042 and at the end of the match where it shows what you unlocked it said I unlocked the AEK-971 not even in the game so I guess it’s a glitch of the next weapons coming from portal over to bf2042
I think it's in the portal mode because i saw that too.

I’m in South-East Asia on PlayStation and the servers are empty. This is the most deleted game I have ever owned. Tried last night. Can’t find the browse option anymore - the only way to play with a few people rather than A.I. I want it to get better - but once again ended up on BFV with BF1 downloading in the background…..

The flying bat girl is also annoying as hell. Soaring hundreds of meters across the map to almost silently land behind someone and shoot them in the back.
They need to take the superhero crap out of the game and go back to real Battlefield.

hyper x cloud 2's have been the best audio for the price I've found. I've tried tons of different headsets at different prices. Just a heads up!

Dont buy gaming headsets, get yourself good headphones like the Beyerdynamic DT990 or some others you like and then a ModMic USB, sounds better than a lot of the gaming headsets and the Mic is way better, price is also lower than most gaming headsets.

@@michaelj7069 Yep look up the ModMic i would suggest the usb Version, this clip on mic is better then 99% of the "Gaming Headset" Mic's out there and you can choose whatever Headphones suit you the best, or use some you already have. There is also a Wireless version of the mic but its a bit pricey.

I had the scar dropping fire rate earlier today but n breakthrough on that map on 64 player. PC only. When I play on my series X I never get the fire rate bugs.

There is a bug where anything is destroyed within 15 meters from Rao, all will be detected.
I think there's a glitch. I suddenly unlock the aek from bc2 but wasn't able to use it in the game. Anyone seen this glitch? They said they are putting more guns in this season 2 as well

The game feels solid, finally (on PS5), the new map is quite good. But yeah…more content-move the guns over from portal! Also more maps. Pull in the great maps from BF3! Great work, Jack!
M16 from portal is horrible. It has such poor control even in burst fire. Which is disappointing because i grinded long to get it, and it stinks, sorta.

@@josephsu95 really? I remember being pretty damn accurate with the same guns in BF4. Yesterday my m16 was all over the place burst shooting a guy maybe 20 yards away. Surely devs can polish these to be a litte closer to 2042 weapons.

The first loading screen told me all I needed to know , them some fancy operators 😂 not for me personally but if it gets more people playing I’m down, I actually really liked bf5 but it didn’t really catch on with casual gamers and I don’t like to sweat if I don’t have too these days
