The female dancers are Janet Jackson's dancers. The one with the gray top is the one who snatched the cases tape out of Janet's hand in "That's The Way Love Goes" video. They also appear in "If" and "You Want This" ft Mc Lyte.

Not saying her voice was like Shanices as they both sung beautifully however Deborah took the world by storm with a deeper sense of soul and it not only worked, it made made her a stable Famed Star and not just a one hit wonder like so many... Shes an absolute pleasure to listen to even in 2023 as her videos tell a better story than those in our present day..... 🎉🎉 I LOVE YOU DEBORAH❤

He was also on Homeboys in Outer Space, don’t think that show was on to long but I think that show was in 1996. He was also in SWV’s Always On My Mind video which was maybe 1994. I remember him being very big in the 90’s. & I know he played Mya’s husband Darnell on the first season of Girlfriends but I heard he left to do One on One which is a show I always watched back then to!

Ain't it sad how many never ever realised just how sane and beautiful the 80's and 90's were, well, because we all thought the times would live one, even after things kept changing. Good music, Classiness, Sensuality. And after we've seen this century go down the drain, such good times will be missed

When I first saw the 4 female dancers, I knew they were Janet's dancers and wondered who was the choreographer until I saw Tina Landon towards the end. She and Janet's dancers back then were beautiful.

What I find most amazing is how little traffic there seems to have been in the 90s….I remember walking down the middle of the street dancing with my boys all the time. How times done changed!!!!!

Will never tell them to tune it down. They have all worked hard at work, university so time to de-stress at the weekends.

This is one of the best songs.. in the 80s and 90s. when true love 💕 counts. Unlike this generation of lies and pretence. God bless 🙏 Deborah Cox.. for a sensible song with deep meaning! still sounds like a newly release album even in 2022. Good song!! Good memories.. Say, no to 🚫 corrupt songs and nude pictures in this generation!

I remember watching this video over and over again as a kid just to learn the choreo because all of Janet's dancers were in the video 😅
Then I remember buying the single to play on repeat so I could learn the lyrics to sing at the top of my lungs.

I came back to this song as I had a friend that was obsessed with Deborah Cox back in the day. He played her tape all day long and of course I liked her and the songs were catchy. I had to look up the internet to remember her name and song. I found it here and just listening to it the first time in many many years, the words were coming back to me like I never forgot them. I miss these days and it brought back memories.
