Yes, everyone has potential to attain enlightenment and escape from the samsara of death and rebirth. Buddha said anata which means no permanent self no continuity no brahman no universal eternal consciousness. Mahayana and Tibetan buddhists modified original Buddha's texts. They even took many rituals from Hindu scriptures. Teachings of Bodisattva reincarnation of Lama is later invention. Buddha never said about that. If you would care to know real teachings of guatama Buddha. Learn Theravada Buddhism the oldest school of Buddhism, the least corrupted one. Try to learn Abhidharma if you wanna know core teachings of Buddha. Abhidharma will help you know the difference between Buddhism and Hindusim.

For the Jains: read & compare Srimad Rajchandra's Atma Siddhi Shastra with Advaita texts such as Brahmasutras & Upanishads - you will see that the Absolute Ultimate Truth that was realised by Tirthankars is no different from the enlightened sages of Hinduism. In fact, let us see the meaning of Kevala Jnana - what is the meaning of "Kevala"? It has the connotation of "only" - so Kevala Jnana, can we see a possibility of what it means: knowledge of the ONLY (or the One without a second)? Throw away the labels, discard the ego, extinguish your cultural biases, only then we can gain access to Truth - all the sages & prophets of every authentic tradition have said this. Even Buddha is known to have said that in order to realise the truth, the ego has to be discarded. All the paths are in harmony, we just need to have the sincerity of intention to see it.
Jain Philosophy is unbeatable because it has ‘Anekantvada’ in it. And In Jainism, Dharma is defined as “Vastu Swabbhav dhammo”. Vastu ka swabhav hi uska dharma hai. It is only Jainism which talks about ‘Vitraagta’ One with no biases ‘Raag or Dwesh’ Only when one is free from bias one can realise truth and preach to others. No other philosophy talks about ‘Vitraagta’ and hence at some point they become illogical and difficult to accept for a rational mind.
Ramana says no body attains enlightens. ( stressing no. Body). The person no more exist to say I am enlightened. No more ego is there. Only others can point out n say. That or this person is enlightened
I have seen a video in which a person claims he went to heaven and met Jesus Christ. rational people when they see this they start doubting everything. this is so absurd. the problem is some malicious people play these dirty tricks to convert others. there are some other reasons like he may be under an illusion. honestly when I see old people in churches, temples I wish they see god. there are so many decent people who are believers. some are so kind. when I even think about the possibility of the nonexistence of god I feel so pained and shattered. I wish people who are kindhearted and strong believers meet their gods. it is very cruel if god does not exist.
When someone gets enlightened he raises above his mind restrictions then why every enlightened beings dont experience the divine in same form? Why still mind's game is allowed there to see divine differently even after raising above the mind's restrictions?
