Metro rules and regulations make us Bus Operators super tense... If you were to crash while grabbing onto the bus Operator could be charged by Metro saying Operator should of saw bicyclist.... Think bro!!!
Sergio Arenas Glad a bus operator commented on this. I'd hate to hear that an operator would be fired over John and his "skitching" a bus. For him it's fun and games and content for his channel but a driver stands to lose more than John, aka, wages, benefits, retirement, 401K and ultimately employment.
True. But in this case the bus driver obviously saw John, but instead of stopping the bus he or she decided to add to Johns unthinking behavior with a risky tactic, as well. Which may have justfied the charges brought on by Metro. And then the driver gave John the bird, lol!! But i agree John should really think about the kinds of risk hes taking, speeding down sidewalks, skitching a bus (which distracts the driver from the safe operation of the bus), weaving in and out of traffic, getting close to pedestrians on sidwalks and crosswalks. Hes 24 y/o with a successful RUclips channel making pretty good money it seems, all it takes is one bad move that puts other peoples lives and property in jeopardy and it could cost him more than hes willing to pay! Hes got a good head on his shoulders. Definitely uses caution and sound judgement most of the time. But sometimes not so much.
