I love the hydration combo from morrocanoil. So much so i keep going back after trying other products so finally caved and just bought the big liters. I use the morrocanoil sulfate free clarifying shampoo twice a month

@@heidiguttenberg yes i like it. Since i do balyage on my hair i prefer to stay as sulfate free as possible. I find that it works well even though doesn't have sulfates

When shampooing make sure you go in with a second shampoo and that second shampoo with lather and clean your hair and scalp much deeper that the first time (:

Hi Heidi, you said that you usually don’t use conditioner, but it’s the one thing you should never skip, because it closes your cuticle and so your hair won’t loose any moisture and dry out. If you put on a hair masque never forget to close your cuticle by using a conditioner as the last step of your routine ☺️I always thought the same way about conditioner as you and used a masque instead of it, but since I’m always using a conditioner, I somehow don’t even need a masque anymore and only use one every 4-6 hair washes ☺️✨💋

I'm using this shampoo and conditioner in my everyday routine, and i'm actually using heat tools just for weekend. However i'm confused by the fact that you mentioned silicones on the shampoo but it hasn't. I'm not afraid with silicones but i'm using Kerastase Bain Divalent every 15 days to clarify my hair. Question about the color Wow product- what do you do on the subsequent 2-3 washes after using it? Do moisturizing products like conditioners and blow dry creams just sit on top of it? How are you supposed to style your hair the next two or three times?
I would expect less absorption. I could be wrong but it makes sense to me. Style with heat. Since it is heat activated.
the curled hair looks amazing Heidi! Do you find that the Hot Tools hair dryer brush pulls your hair out at all when you dry (due to thr tension)?

This is really important. The right way to use this shampoo is by washing twice everytime. First shampoo never lather, but second shampoo lathers a lot and hair always feels squaky clean and hydrated at the same time.
I’ve been using this shampoo for a very long time, it’s the only product i can use everyday if necessary, i love that it does not cointain silicones, so it can be mixed with silicone free conditioners or masks.
Have you tried the new dry bar liquid glass sealant? It’s supposed to be similar to the color wow. I bought it the other day, but I’m not sure how to use it (the instructions leave me with a few questions), and I’m not sure whether I need the matching shampoo & conditioner.

I am using the moroccan oil repair shampoo for years. You need to add more water in order for it to lather. Then you rinse and repeat and it will lather more the second time. My hair stylist told me that's how good shampoos should work. Also my hair gets less greasy with this because it's not taking ALL the oils out of my scalp ! 🌹🌹🌹Bthe I like your new videos 😁

@@heidiguttenberg yes I know I am just mention it cause some people think the shampoo does not clear the hair well or is not good for oily hair if it does not lather up and they do not know that they need to shampoo twice and that this actually helps the scalp become less oily. Cause I thought the same way once and now I can go 4 days without washing my hair 😁

What did you think about this Moroccanoil shampoo? I really want to try it but I'm wondering if it dryes out the hair because many of the reviews said that the hair was very dry after... 💗☺️
I was using drugstore shampoo/cond and it made my hair feel like straw, I switched to the moisture repair version of this shampoo/cond and it makes my hair feel very hydrated and soft. I love it.
I would love to see a recommendation for oily scalp 🤩

I agree, Naomi! I also get oily scalp but the rest of my hair is dry. My scalp hair goes greasy in 1.5 days. I’m trying to not use dry shampoo on my scalp as it clogs my hair follicles; my hair has been thinning for a while and I’m wayyyyy toooo young for that!!!!
Heidi, I know you also fight greasy scalp. Have you found products/techniques that help prolong your hairstyle between washes?

Unluckily Moroccanoil is full of silicones. I only use natural ingredients and the way my hair feels is so different. Your content is very entertaining, keep it up guerrera :)

Tried Moroccanoil shampoo and conditioner once, felt so much over priced as I saw no difference vs my cheap drugstore shampoo. But my hair was not so much damaged back then considering to give them a try one more time .. maybe it can improved my fried hair from heat & chemical overload T^T

Umm....It doesn't lather because it's sulphate free and sulphate is a surfactant generally sulphate free shampoos does lather less but that no where means that it won't clean the oil and scalp infact the studs you see in shampoos are just there to trick consumers mind and has nothing to do with their cleansing capacity
Also using a deep clarifying shampoo once a month is a smart choice ❤️

I have thin hair with a super oily scalp, I use this shampoo but the moisture repair version. Still doesn't really foam up but still cleans my hair really good! :)

Actually not having a lather doesn't mean its not doing its job of removing the dirt in your hair it actually means the company added less of those chemicals that lather the hair. I think I heard somewhere that its better to not have that chemical in your products

Silicone is NOT Good for ur hair!
It’s interesting how not even scientists seem to agree on this.
There are different types of silicone some wash out easily so it doesn't build up and make your hair dry. My hair is better with silicone I did the whole no sulphate no blah blah blah but it makes my hair dry out and just noo.
