    • @markdnffc
      @markdnffc 2 месяца назад +4

      @@85ABC It is catagorically not all theory, it is fact. You do remember when the first vaccines were administered in UK, don't you? I'll give you a clue: It was December 2020 and we were still in the EU.
      Also, to your second point, Hungary approved Russian vaccines for their own use before the EU's collective vaccines were approved by the EMA. Because it was a collective EU plan, the EU's vaccines were half the price that the UK paid for our vaccines, solely due to the sheer volume of orders. Not only that, the majority of EU countries had outstripped the UK's vaccination program within three months.
      Johnson is a lying POS.and you are still being taken in by him. Enjoy the book.

    This could have been a much better experience for Times viewers/listeners if the interviewer had not interrupted Johnson so much to assert his own opinions and judgements. The skills of the older generations of interviewers seem to be lost. But allowing an interviewee to talk and relax can often lead to much more revealing insights, especially when a skilled questioner then teases out even more.

    On the polls point, they've been saying people would vote to remain since September 2016, not just recently.
    But we never had a second straight vote, so it's been twisted one way or the next over the years to ignore the new popular position and deny the brexit betrayal. People knew they were lied to in 2016, before it came into being...
    They rejected the tories in 2017, 60% of the electorate rejected the tories in 2019. Leave parties lost in the EU elections and most recently the tories have been wiped out at this year's election.
    Also on the vaccine, within a couple of months the EU had outdone the UK on the number of vaccines administered, so Johnson is being very selective with his stats

    Stig Abel is a radio commentator I very much appreciate and enjoy listening to his morning show on Times radio. I was somewhat disappointed at his style of questioning today pointing a finger and being in my opinion too aggressive. A softer style of questioning might have been more effective in getting Boris Johnson to cover more topics. I am not a supporter of Mr Johnson but he has an eloquent command of the English language while maybe not having too many other attributes.

    Why the f*** are you inviting any hosts when you become so defensive? Take A different approach dudeYour anger is glaring. Chill, dude. Be more professional. "Your regime?" you tell Johnson, your choice of words says it all. Perhaps you need to look for a different job if you can't handle this professionally. 😮

      @@rebecca_noble What was relevant during the time I lived and worked in the UK, was that the UK was open to residency for EU citizens as part of the common market. This made the UK a very attractive destination to live and work. Just one positive (and non partisan) testimony for your country🇬🇧🙏💜

      @@MoralScienceEducation well, that's fine, MSE,..
      At present there's are 5.8 million EU people with (pre)settled status in the UK.
      In stark contrast, there are 1.4 million UK ex pats (predominantly retired) in the EU. That is highly in favour of the EU. And it disadvantages uk people.
      The UK wants control over its immigration and we want fairness. Not favouring EU people over other applicants.
