Very interesting shopping trip, you make me want to jump into the screen and go shopping with you, haha! Great job, thank you for sharing! Happy travels! 👍😄🙏
you got everything in a very honest local price brother. Thanks for visiting our beautiful country Nepal and promoting its culture and tradition all over the world.
Ken,you are always very kind and supportive with your bargaining skill in all the countries that you have had travelled through.Good vibes from you.Best wishes from Malaysia.🇲🇾💕
Football is no.1 sport but Nepali cricket team have achieved better heights in international arena than football. And our national sport is Volleyball(previous it was Dandi biyo).
Hi Ken. Wow. The whole video inside a dark market😮. I didn't know you're such an avid shopper. Hope you found what you wanted. Thanks for sharing your day with us. Look forward to your next experience.
18:00 doing good. It's same as local. It's easier then us bargain cause they don't give discounts like 1500 to directly 750. It's shows nature of nepali citizen towards tourist they know that we have to stay calm and peacefully.
What an amazing shopping spree at that Bhrikuti Bazaar. Very fun and interesting following you around, looking for tshirts, jerseys, belts, wallets and sunglasses. Yeah, it's always wonderful of you to get a t-shirt from every country you have visited. That Nepal tshirt looks nice. I truly admire your skill of bargaining, Ken. Well, at least, you did bargain so l guess the price of all the items you have bought is reasonable. As the saying goes : "You win some, you lose some" 😊 Haha...a goat market...good of you to interact with the local(s) to find out more about those goats there. Yet again, another awesome vlog and l'm loving this Nepal series so far. Thank you very much and looking forward to more. Cheers, Ken !!!

You always need to bargain in areas like this. Even the Nationals will bargain and their start price will be a lot lower than a tourist. Bargaining is part of most asian cultures and is expected. As long as the seller makes a bit of money and you get the deal your happy with it's a good deal.
You should negotiate but be sure to add few extras afterwards wherever you feel like you get good people rather than giving beggars. That is the best way i think 😊
Lots of thanks brother ..for showing our country over the world .brother i am dipendra bishwakarma from east nepal terhathum .it is so beautiful place people are friendly if you want to visit our terhathum .we'll come to terhathum pls ....
You're in Nepal at a time of inflation so the cost of everything is generally more expensive. As you said, bargaining a bit is a good idea since most vendors will inflate the prices since you're a foreigner. You got the merch ranging from Rs. 700 - 900 and that's fair for both parties on any given day given their quality lol. (PS huge Germany fan, we'll get the World Cup next time lesgooo)
They dont even spare the Nepalese locals in this market. You need high bargaining skills in this specific market. They usually charge double triple to the Nepalese. Tourist means 5-10 times. Wrong market. Take a friendly local with u for good price.
Hey Ken brother, I think you're inthe wrong shopping area, If you want to shop there, you'll need to good bargaining skills, otherwise you might get ripped off. I hope you will enjoy here in Nepal.
Ken, in these markets you should always stick with half the price than they said, but if it will not work then add 100 Rs more then if not again 100 but not jump from 500 to 7-800😂
you too nice Ken..should bargain more..although Im not know the actual price but it doesn't make sense that the price of belt and sunglasses more higher than your shirt
Bro you should take a nepali mom there for bargaining, anyway you also did a pretty decent job. And the place you went at last its called Khasi bazar in and my dad would always be there playing ludo, Anyway enjoyed your video
Dude I just visited this place today! Though as an Indian I can say the price was expensive as they increased it. Even after bargain it was costly. And some people were just not friendly, they didn't even sell to Indians.
Wel come to Nepal Please guys try newari food in Kathmandu valley best food in Nepal and try to visit chandragiri cable car near to downtown of Kathmandu
Again ! Please be caution with too friendly people who in will ask you money at the end. That is the biggest scam in Nepal. These shopkeepers hardly make any money. They might ask you a Tourist price, 5 bucks more but bargaining is something that is very common around. They also like it if you do bargain. They might give you even cheaper with the smile in their face.
@@KenAbroad you know that this is a loan word from Italy, right? It's not originally German. Bunch of European languages have adopted this from Italian.
I think their custom of touching the money on their forehead, is similar to an Indian custom also, wherein they associate money with Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, and it's like respect to this goddess for giving them money, for giving them a sale. And also for more luck in sales. 😊

Here in the Philippines some people tap the money in their items ( goods ) for good luck especially in Divisoria or in the markets ...
Dude I just visited this place today! Though as an Indian I can say the price was expensive as they increased it. Even after bargain it was costly.
And some people were just not friendly, they didn't even sell to Indians.
