Mark I’m a chilean young architect who always love the Calder’s work. I’m recently became a parent and spent some time researching the posibilities to do a mobile for my son, with many failed experiments. I’m so grateful to you and to this amazing instructional video series. Lot of thankss and many lov from Chile.
Martin! This makes me so happy to hear! I can't wait to see what you create - I'm sure it's going to be amazing! Thanks for reaching out and - of course - if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out again and I'll be happy to help however I can. Happy Creating!
Hi Mark, I am new to this craft and I am struggling to have the paint come out nice on my aluminum Wing pieces I cut. I'm using step flashing that comes pre-cut in a package 5in by 7in. When I try to paint the wings even after wiping it down with alcohol the spray paint will separate and look awful. I have used several different brands of spray paint can you suggest any problem solving for me?
Whoa! Somehow this question has been hidden for 2 years! I'm hopeful you figured out how to master the art of painting (it's not easy, is it?). If you're still working at it, give me a holler and I'll see if I can help!
thanks for one more important tip!
Mark, you are hilarious 😂 this series is so enjoyable! Do you have a Tiktok?
Awww, thanks! I don't have a TikTok, but I *do* need to make more of these how-to videos! Thanks for the inspiration to get back on it! Cheers!

Good advise Mark. Thank you. What primer do you use under the paint?
Great question! I use a Rust-oleum primer in whatever color is closest to my top coat color.
@@marklearydesigns Thank you.
