2016: MasterClass in Opera and Classical Singing with Barbara Frittoli and David Harper

The 2016 MasterClass in Opera and Classical Singing was held at The Independent Theatre, on July 4th, 2016.
The MasterClass is sponsored by MOST® and features the five Finalists selected for the 2016 IFAC Australian Singing Competition, Nicholas Tolputt, Sarah Wang, Jarvis Dams, Morgan Balfour, and Eliza Boom. Barbara Frittoli coaches each of the five young Finalists through arias of their selection. The accompanist is David Harper.

She tries to provide a fair vision of the piece musically and stylistically, and must deal with the technical immaturity of some of the students, without upsetting everything, because they are still fragile. I find her very good.

@@LucaCanetti ahahahahahah ma lei è serio? queste masterclass non servono a nulla, possono solo dare una indicazione ad un artista finito, a patto che siano masterclass sul repertorio, tenute da chi davvero conosce quel determinato repertorio.

@@LucaCanetti ahahahahah sta scherzando vero? tecnicamente non insegnano nulla, per il repertorio tanto meno, possono giusto andar bene per un artista finito che può al limite ricevere un paio di consigli da un orecchio diverso, sempre che chi fa la masterclass sappia cosa sta dicendo, cosa ormai rara.
