While I don’t support Julius, I believe there are other significant concerns to be aware of, such as the potential impact of rapid demographic changes in South Africa, particularly with the growth of certain communities. It’s important to consider how these changes might affect the cultural landscape and societal norms. If preserving South African culture is a priority, it’s worth keeping an eye on these developments to ensure that the future reflects the values and preferences of the broader population.
Yip, apartheid has provided an illegitimate alibi for a whole bunch of issues where blame needs to be found for irresponsible behaviour. It is indeed cultural, and if not addressed by Govt. will lead to the collapse of society.
You sat there while the perps from whom you and your parents benefitted got away with it in the name of a rainbow ideology and yet here you are, doing nothing to rebuild but gaslight all black people to get your petty point across. You had your chance in 1994, and you failed. Sit back and watch true SAns put that history where your former leaders belong: in the trash.
Advice from my father when I was young. 1. Never sleep with a woman you are not prepared to marry. 2. Don’t think you are mr. handsome if you pick up a one night stand. You will definitely not the first one.
We can’t blame alcohol. Rich people use alcohol to celebrate milestones like business deal, us as black people we use alcohol to “pass time” while celebrating nothing😢
There is a very expensive golf Estate at Blue Hills. I believe most parents there ate rich. The children in that gated golf Estate pad time on drugs and alcohol. I was thinking what is going to happen when is time for those children to inherited whatever their parents ate working hard for.
@@Alias-gy3tz trust me. there are children raising children. you don't have to look far.. just look a bit further from what you already know. I am talking about a 14 year old girl with her baby tied to her back, drinking black label and smoking a cigarette, selling her body to any man who is shameless enough to take her away. In Eastern Cape there are children who eventually die of hunger after their parents die or leave and never come back. there are countless horrors in this country. Some time ago I attended a wedding I witnessed a group of teenagers waiting in line where they were going to be served alcohol I went mad I quickly went to them and told them no one is going to be getting alcohol not when I was around, but I got chastised by a woman who told me those kids were helping at the wedding so they deserved to be served the alcohol I ended up threatening to call the police on her if she insists on giving them the alcohol!!
How old were these teenagers if I may ask? I'm 26 and have never taken alcoho, weed or tobacco. For some reason, I've noticed these vices make people dumber
Unfortunately the youth be drinking even as early as 12 or 13. By the time they are in highschool they drink but keep it on the down low or the parents already know and probably encourage them to atleast do it responsibly (I'm talking about alchohol). Those parents arent necasserily bad they understand that teens can get into some messed up things and would much rather prepare to them to handle those situations. It's not ideal but it's better than just leaving them alone.
I married into an Afrikaans family 7 years ago and it was eye opening. They are disciplined when it comes to work and most of their free time is taken up by physical activity. Their kids also get into nonsense but they don’t document it because their family will be shamed by their community.
@@Bluecollarjoe6B9 what is eye opening about that. Discipline and hard work has nothing to do with race. Many black people are as hard working and discipline as any other races. The only reason why we're being looked down upon is because of longstanding attitude instilled into many people about how blacks are lazy and I'll disciplined.
@@thobanivitaleous2837 I wish I could agree. I don't think it's a race thing, I think it has to do with mindset. Of course, money helps too. But when I look at my best friend from school, I see a different story. Her parents are both teachers and she has three brothers. From a young age she was focused, determined and hard working and managed to get the best grades in class, as well as take music classes and excel in sport. She's now a doctor, and yes, she's black. Her parents didn't have generational wealth, they didn't have a lot of money. But she still managed to go after her dreams and make them a reality. Of course, money would help a lot of people get there quicker. But then again, many people would take that money and waste it instead of using it to better themselves. And I'm not talking about specific races. This applies to everyone. At the end of the day, you just need to decide whether you are going to build your life up or stay where you are. And yes, for some it is more difficult than others, but a lot of the times we have ourselves to blame. I definitely know that I have many faults holding me back, and I'm working on them. And while it is a long process, it's something everyone needs to do instead of running away from our fears and insecurities.

The harsh reality is that many Black South Africans find it difficult to accept the truth. It sounds harsh, but when he mentioned coming to South Africa to sell drugs, it's evident that we must acknowledge our role in allowing these issues to persist within our country. If South African police and authorities performed their duties effectively, unjust accusations towards foreigners would diminish. Likewise, if South African parents adequately educate their children, there would be fewer kids engaging with drugs. It's essential to take responsibility and address these underlying issues so they can be thoroughly resolved. We are one Africa, and we need to unite in our efforts to combat crime and any harmful activities that threaten our communities and children

You can discipline without abusing. Those that go to prison were abusing their children. Don't be a criminal. Don't be part of the problem. Don't abuse children. Yours or others'.
Children should be disciplined from toddlers but people leave it too late and then moan because of what the government says and yet God says not to spare the rod. But we listen to people that have no interest in the good of our children.
Education is the only thing that fixes this but there are two problems. 1) Angie Motshekga ensured mediocrity with her 30% pass mark policy. 2) After you "fix" the education system, it takes 18 years for the product to come out the other side. Easy to say of course, when single parents are having to go and work with long commutes to try and provide for themselves and their children but then leaving those children to their own devices during the day. Afterschool activities and sport facilities are sorely needed. As Gayton has indicated, the money in his department was wastefully spent left right and centre and lots of corruption. How people still vote for parties like ANC, EFF and MK is beyond me.
I beg to differ when u say education is the only thing that can fix this, FAMILY STRUCTURE can help fix this(A 2 parent household with a strong masculine father is very vital). It all starts at home, our grandmothers Nd granddads were uneducated but they raised educated mothers Nd fathers with strong family values. Nowadays yes there are single mom that are educated but their children still end up single moms, drunkards Nd whatnot. Yes education is vital can we not leave out what builds a person the most (family values).
@@theemapsmash How do you instil family structure and values in our culture where fathers are absent? Those are not available on a supermarket shelf. You have to educate the girls that what they need to be looking for in boyfriends and partners is a man who values those things. Similarly, you have to educate the boys that it is not in fact cool to be interested in the count of your conquests but rather in building a family. Kids who come from broken homes think that a broken home is normal. A broken home doesn't suddenly develop family structure. We have to educate our children that broken families are not ok and that it is up to them to make better life choices than what their parents and grandparents did. You don't suddenly just have family structure, that comes with the education of values. Like I said in my first comment, education is the only thing that changes this narrative and that process is at minimum an 18 year cycle with the pre-requisite that you actually fix the education mess. The other possible way is to make it a criminal offence to impregnate a woman and then leave her, but how do you police something like that when the system cannot even catch murderers and rapists? I do want to point out that this problem is not only endemic to South Africa, nor is it only to a specific demographic. It is across all the demographics in South Africa. More and more children across the spectrum are coming from broken homes and we are ending up with women who have 3 children from 3 different fathers. It is a big problem throughout the world where marriage and divorce are taken more and more lightly.

Don’t do it to yourself or for your future. Very few men will take your child as his own. Many, many years ago when I was in high school, some of the boys smoked and that was it. If caught, they were in trouble. We were extremely scared to step out of line in school and at home, but nowadays children say, "Our freedom first." They are also exposed to so much filth and shocking images on their cellphones. Furthermore, we have failed to raise young boys of colour who take responsibility for their actions and learn from their mistakes and more especially who learn to respect their female counterparts, and understand that manhood is not limited to sexual activity.
The problem is that women who they to warn other females and guide their choice making, get called names like "pick me's" and being accused of hating on other women or being jealous
The normalization of teenage pregnancy in society can lead to significant challenges, including disrupted education and limited future opportunities for young mothers. These individuals often face higher health risks, economic strain, and emotional stress. Additionally, their children may experience developmental challenges due to the mother's limited resources and support. Normalizing teenage pregnancy can perpetuate cycles of poverty and limit the potential for both the mother and child to thrive, highlighting the need for comprehensive education and support systems.
Teenage pregnancy is not the problem, it's the men not taking responsibility, because their authority has been stripped from them by the state and justice/ mercenary class. Why take responsibility when you're say means nothing and you're on the hook for being responsible? This hold men responsible and return them the authority to exercise their responsibility.
@@nixm9093 wrong, run a group project, and reassess or experience. If you can't delegate and structure a group, but you have responsibility for job completion. @@Анжеликакискова You make a valid point that men should be held accountable for their role in teenage pregnancies, as the burden often falls unfairly on young women. Ensuring men take responsibility is crucial for a balanced approach to the issue. However, the idea that men's authority has been stripped by the state, leading to a lack of responsibility, is more complex. Authority alone doesn't guarantee responsibility; it requires understanding and accountability. Moreover, the normalization of teenage pregnancy is problematic because it can downplay the serious consequences, making it seem acceptable rather than something to be prevented. Instead of just returning authority, we should focus on education, accountability, and shared responsibility to effectively address the root causes of teenage pregnancy and prevent it from becoming normalized.

Many schools in Pretoria only offer Afrikaans and English while both languages are small compared to sepedi and setswana In the metro. Schools belong to the community. Not to a particular race. I realized Julius was the most dangerous man in RSA when he told poor people to make babies and he’d pay them
Yes, exactly.
Hey, be patient coz EFF will fall off before the election in 2029
While I don’t support Julius, I believe there are other significant concerns to be aware of, such as the potential impact of rapid demographic changes in South Africa, particularly with the growth of certain communities. It’s important to consider how these changes might affect the cultural landscape and societal norms. If preserving South African culture is a priority, it’s worth keeping an eye on these developments to ensure that the future reflects the values and preferences of the broader population.
I was shocked and disgusted when I heard Julius tell the youth to go and make babies. What kind of a leader is he. I have no words, it's sickening.

You truly amaze me Katlego, you hit the nail on the head every time. We need people like you to rule our country
Problem is as a population don't take God seriously, the day people stop focusing on what the nacked eye can see and acknowledge that we as a nation are battling serious spiritual warfares & if we repent, God will hear our prayers through Christ by the Holy Spirit & the land will be healed.

Thank you for your open, honest and candid reporting - it's by far the best place to get updates on news and current events in South Africa!! Well done indeed!
No need to apologize. You're speaking the truth.
my mind goes to the males that got these young girls pregnant they must be held responsible for their part too. Not just walk away with no consequences for their part...the boys must be held responsible for their part too. Not just the girls
I agree .!....but !!..the girls are the ones that have the say !...They can say ...NO...!!!!....but the problem is ....they dont !...because in todays feminist world the women are chasing the men...!!!!!!!And that is the truth ...!!!!!.........There is a You Tube video going around of this young woman bragging that she had sex ....with 100 men in ONE day ....!!!!!.....so yes ..??
Gosh, over 1000 young people infected with HIV weekly! Scary!!! Yip! We have the same rules in our household. We are trying to protect our son as best as we can.

You are 100% correct, some black parents don't take responsibility for their lives and children they make.
Its not just black men. Alot of white also run from their responsibility to be a father
It is indeed a cultural concern. However, parents we must admit that we've let our children down by expecting schools to "teach them" everything. Furthermore, we have failed to raise young boys of colour who take responsibility for their actions and learn from their mistakes and more especially who learn to respect their female counterparts, and understand that manhood is not limited to sexual activity.
Ppl necee want to be this honest
Teenage pregnancy is a prerogative of human existence. The societal model is broken.
@@Анжеликакисковаyou don't need to have authority to take responsibility
@@nixm9093 wrong, run a group project, and reassess or experience.
If you can't delegate and structure a group, but you have responsibility for job completion.
Sure have your people / employees show up when ever do whatever see, where it gets you.
You have the money you have authority to say where it goes.
If not good luck!!!!!

Another large problem we need to get rid of, is the acceptance that middle aged men are sleeping with children that barely started high school, a culture only further driven to popularity by a lot of popular media (tik-tok, music, social media).
Pedophilia has been a thing that seems to have been normalised heavily in South Africa. No one bats an eye when they see a minor being manipulated by someone that couldve been their father.
This lady is really good in spotting social illness within our beloved country , I am 100% confident she has more gears and can make a huge difference within communities if led into the right circles and platforms, SA need more like minded people in politics,, We need to Sharpen our pencils and stop looking away from evil morals / behaviors which pollute our society.. Time for talking is over and Time for working & implementation has arrived.
This is such a great video. The alcoholism and lack of parental discipline in this country is never addressed.
Why aren't these statutory rapists not sent to jail?
Because they don't exist my sister, these kids are chowing each other. Just that it's easy to blame men, men, men.
My sister this issue is not only for South Africa but the African community. SADC as a whole! You spoke nothing but the truth.
They need to stop child grand and increase Sassa for the older people because if you go and have a look really look who is looking after the kid's these days the elderly and the parents don't give that money to the people that take care of the children they use it them self.
This is just an ignorant comment. Ur making a rough generalization here. Like the "all whites are rasist, cuz one white person was". The child grant has helped many families including my own. My mom received the grant for my younger siblings and we all finished school.
I'm taking this as a sign to report a rumor in my neighborhood, there's been talk about this 15 year old girl who did the deed with a 32 year old man at this other car wash. I thought I'd keep quiet but it's only right to tell her parents...
Morning ms Katlego get well pls look after yourself you need to be in good health to speak the truth we need more young women like you to speak to young pple
i would ask the student that is speaking does what happen in 1905 affect us today in 2024...more than what has been happing in south african goverment from 2000 to 2024....i bet you 100% that what has happened in south africa from 2000 to present day has had a direct affect on them as students TODAY, WAY MORE than 1905
I live in a small town and the teen pregnancy is a pandemic here.. there are so many young girls having babies..no fathers in sight. I call these young girls "turtle girls " as they have a baby in a blanket and a backpack on their backs..not with books unfortunately, but filled with expensive nappies and formula..they look sad, as they should still be playing with friends and not carrying a baby. I spoke to a nurse and she said that sometimes the young girls have had more than one unwanted pregnancies! Where are the parents? Well obviously they have lost control or simply dont care!
Great show thank you ❤❤
As a 21 year old young man, Thank you for this empowering message. You spoke to my heart.
What an eye-opening video. I am currently in my first year of study for my BEd and honestly this just made me think about the kind of teacher that I wish to become and the kind of influence I wish to have on the young minds sitting in front of me.
We need more of your content as RSA youth ...keep up the good work sis♥️
Honestly I blame the culture for perpetuating this lifestyle of promiscuity... We need more positive role models in our lives
Innocent children born to individuals who aren’t fit to be parents😭😭😭😭that’s needs to be discussed. The absent fathers is not the only issue. Inadequate young mothers also contribute to the detriment of children’s futures😭😭
To be fair, where I move, we all talk about these issues a lot. But we can't dare stand up or say anything because we are mostly white. So we go on with our lives and hope that some day black leaders will stand up and say the right thing. But it doesn't happen. Thank you for being a brave, progressive, honest black woman. Please help our country when we as whites are not allowed to, and the black leadership is too drunk and corrupt to care.

I am setting pillars in place with my granddaughter. Education comes 1st. Then, work till I find her a husband and until she's married, she lives at home. She must save up till she has her baby. Stay home with the child till pre-school. Then half day work, but take her child to school, collect the child from school and spend the rest of the day parenting and being there for her family. Faith is very important. No unsupervised play dates. Definitely no sleepovers. It's sad really, that our children pay the price for the choices we make. Break the cycle. 😢🌻
Unfortunately that's not how it works in Mzansi 😄😄
Don't try to be too strict. She will rebel hard & it will backfire! All you can do is give her the best values, love her, support her & be a good example for her. Get her involved in sport, arts or culture. Take her to church & let her get involved in church activities. Make sure she knows the importance of education. Keep her away from wrong influences. Then the rest is up to
It’s time we become much more blunt about the moral decay in our society. We are so quick to abandon our traditional values in favour of progressive ideals and liberalism but we turn a blind eye to obvious flaws.
I am a 21 year old boy, I always feel like crying to see young people, 'girl especially' being lawless to themselves they respect izinto zomhlaba kunabo uqobo. I pray some other day they should see of what necessarily they can do and what not to do. Katlego was right when she says" we should spend more time learn to programme or some useful skill," but what will we say, people are always celebrating for nothing.😒
Pregnant teens come from strict homes, some are abusive, it isn't the fault of parents or society, or even the teens. People don't need strict homes, they need a community, people they can talk to.
Sad state of affairs - starts at home and their parents.
This platform is doing what the mainstream media should be doing🔥💪💪🔥
The political quality of the country is reflected in the society that elects it.
Children must know how valuable they are. They act out their poor self image. A stable society starts with each individual's choices. Lock up those who make 10 year old girls pregnant.
@@Reynier239 yes, why is statutory rape not taken seriously. Who are these men getting these children pregnant? Where are the parents of these children?
They should ban politics at all Universities. Keep politics out of the classroom. Students are there to learn, not promote their political views. No political T shirts! Students should be there to learn skills and educate themselves.
Start by getting rid of the Bella Bill! Age appropriate sex education.....not opening little mind's to the rotten ideals of gender choices, creating confusion and promiscuous behaviour!
Bring God and His Word back into our school systems. Promote Godly morality❤
University students are adults and are old enough to vote. There is no practical reason why they should have a say politically. We have the freedom of association.
The Bela bill is a good idea. From my view ppl who oppose it want schools to represent some groups instead of representing a community. Many model c school game the admission to ensure that a particular ethnicity is the majority. Many schools in Pretoria only offer Afrikaans and English while both languages are small compared to sepedi and setswana In the metro.
Schools belong to the community. Not to a particular race. Sgbs abuse their power. Black children rarely get a chance to learn their languages in model c schools. But for some reasons this is ohk.
The Bela bill is south Africas best chance to correct this injustice
Could never understand why these young women think they have to have children to somehow get married to a man? I was actually told by several black lady colleagues that this was part of their "culture" - surely not, I thought - because I always understood black culture to value virtue .
