Ipanema Beach - Rio de Janeiro. [Where to eat, stay, and how to get around the neighborhood]

In this video I show you Ipanema Beach, in Rio de Janeiro and I also show you the Ipanema neighborhood from the inside.
Its sands mark the history of Bossa Nova. Ipanema is among the favorite beaches of cariocas for its charm and relaxation, known worldwide for the song "Girl from Ipanema", by Tom Jobim and Vinicius de Morais. The beach, 2 km long, from Arpoador to Jardim de Alah, is a meeting point for young residents and enchanted tourists, especially close to post 9. The beach is used for the practice of various sports, in addition to being the stage for concerts outdoors. Among the favorite activities are surfing, racquetball, volleyball, soccer and footvolley. Cariocas and tourists alike usually sit on its sands, at the end of the afternoon, to chat and applaud the magnificent sunset. On Sundays, the coast lanes are closed to vehicles until 6 pm and released for the leisure of locals.
