1:45 The survivor is (mystery name) There is no way to stop this monster, what should we do?! (mystery name) is devastating all of Tokyo. It's a matter of time until it attacks the radio station. 1:56 "Oh no! It's coming! Take cover immediately, OH NO!"
Dude I about popped an artery listening to this for the first time in many, many years. I remember it like it was yesterday and I was lucky enough to own a Neo Geo back then and this game. I had it set up to blast monster fighting through some large Klipsch speakers. My poor grandma. This will be an idea to put on my list for my first Indie game via Unreal Engine 5. The others were a UE5 golden axe or final fight clone.
Favorite Monsters (Sequel): Earth's Defenders: 3. Atomic Guy It's just Astro Guy, but he's wearing a different costume. At least he has lightning powers. 2. Cyber Woo I think I preferred the old Woo design. He's too mechanized now. But he does get access to homing missiles and lasers, which is pretty cool. 1. Super Geon Now, THIS is a monster! He went from being a Dinosaur to being a scary Dragon monster! I love this change so much!! ❤ The Aliens: 7. King Famardy What even is this thing?! It's really creepy to stare at, inside AND out! Why does it have a mouth within a mouth?! 6. Eiffelyte He's really grotesque for an alien. He has parasites coming out of his body?? Why?! 5. Aqua Slug He would actually be kinda cute, if it wasn't for the skull coming out of his body! Why?! 4. Claw Head Another freaky looking alien. He has two heads and a mouth where his stomach is! Not as creepy as the ladder three, but still... 3. Lavicus Nightmare fuel. But honestly, he looks kinda cool! 2. Huge Frogger He looks the least disturbing of the aliens. I like his slim, reptilian design. Easy on the eyes for only the first boss. 1. Beetle Master I actually like this alien's design quite a lot. Yes, he doesn't really resemble a beetle, but he looks awesome! He is very unique with his attacks; poisoning his foes with his scorpion-like stinger, attacking from underground, and even mercilessly karate chopping at you. Next to Super Geon, he's one of my favorites! ❤
Favorite Monsters: 6. Astro Guy Sorry to say, but he looks like a dude who belongs in a Comic Con convention. He's not really much of a monster. 5. Poison Ghost Honestly, he looks too much like a villain from the original Scooby-Doo cartoon. 4. Rocky He's alright. Just an average rock monster. Nothing special. 3. Beetle Mania Horned Beetles are tough insects. I like how the game is representing the insect kingdom. Beetle Mania could've inspired the Gen 2 Pokémon, Heracross! 2. Woo You can't go wrong with a giant ape. It worked in Rampage. 1. Geon Sure, he might be an obvious Godzilla lookalike, but I love his design. He looks awesome, and he's a great monster for beginners!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the character Poison Ghost based on the Smog Monster?
I think you're right on the money, my friend! 🧡
Woo's theme reminds me of the Thuggee Chant from "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom"!
I wonder what the lyrics are for Woo’s song. I know they’re in Japanese.
