I still like the Oyster bracelet for this style - Submariner vibe- it is minimalist and functional - strong - and it does not take away from the watch/bezel being the 'star' attraction. Of course I have a bigger wrist and I think the Oyster def works better for bigger wrists as it has a 'presence'. Obvi a matter of taste/choice - no wrong answers! The Jubilee on a more 'refined' dressy watch to me makes total sense.
I have the 5 link and it’s a head turner for sure. The 5 link completely changes the look of the black bay!
That burgundy bezel makes that watch really pop. Amazing watch.
This shorter than expected wait happened to me when i got on list for first time at my rolex AD for a explorer... makes ya wonder whats going on behind scenes sometimes lol
It is a fantastic piece.. you should of requested the jubilee style bracelet it a lot lot better and gives the piece a sense of class.. 🎉
Same experience. Put in my name after watches and wonders. Offered 3 link last week instead of 5.. I Bought it plus got the rubber strap in addition.. I’m happy enough with it. Love the new adjustable clasp.
how much was your additional rubber strap with your purchase and did you purchase from the tudor store?
Authorized tudor dealer. The rubber strap was cheap. But then u HAVE to get a new clasp and that was expensive. I Recall maybe $400.
And u need different spring bars. Make sure they include the different sized spring bars or u gotta wait another month. Ha.
Very comfortable in rubber and i think looks good. A little more casual and i think may draw less attention from all the muggers running around

My experience was quite different but this can be explained by the fact I live on a different continent. Walked into an AD boutique and half an hour later walked out with the exact same watch as the OP. Never had to register my interest. It was there and I bought it.
Put my name on a list/expression of interest a month or so ago, really wanted to see and try on the new 41mm first. Didn’t here anything for a while but just happened to be passing my local Tudor Boutique and they had one on the rubber strap to try on. Loved it and it was available if I wanted it but I just had to many other priorities at the time. Will come back to this later this year but now that the new 39mm Longines Zulu Time is available it’s going to be a difficult choice. Enjoy the watch.

Fine vid Sir. Just subbed. I am closing in on 70 and want a special watch for the occasion . Thinking the big boys. I have a wonderful , small collection but nary a grail in the lot. Top watch is my Dad’s 70’s era gold Omega dress watch. TINY…. Just not my thing but I will make sure my Father’s favorite Grandson gets that one. So…a Speedy, I quite like Fortis, Sinn, etc. (yep, old SAR pilot in CAP in the 90’s so) …..I love chronographs, GMT’s etc. I will visit your channel & see if other fine vids will be found :-) Thanks
Yes i agree its def a less dressy option .personaly i would not settle for something other than what i wanted .however should be fine to an dare i say aftermarket 5 link if you want the look i poped one onto one of my bb . Blue tho not red

Curious about this as well. One of my local ADs had the oyster style bracelet with the fake rivets. Not my cup of tea even thought it’s well executed. Still on the list for the 5 link. 3 weeks and counting…
