I agree that a lot of these basic training skills are just never going to get used now. To be honest, they need to condense and combine several of them. Maybe get it down to 14 or 12 and nerf a few if they're too strong at that point. I can already see only 7 to 10 of them seeing regular use in the current state of things.
too many and too much a divide between the strongest and the weakest. Two lethals for the "bouncing betty" campers with their silenced smgs and shotguns or having a launcher as a secondary. Where's the balance to this system?!
I only use two. Literally. I have like one class that has rifleman on it so I can have a sniper and a sub and the other is primed. I agree they needa buff these because one perk is not enough.
Downgrade it may be, but I got tired of the Pick 10 system. The Create a Class I really liked was Ghosts' Create a Class. I kinda like these Divisions in a way.
THE LAST TIMELORD I doubt Divisions are coming back or at least to BO4 as well. Treyarch created Pick 10 and stuck with it, I'd bet they'd go with the same. Especially with the majority liking it. It kind of feels like a staple for them now.
Good to have you back for me personally. Didn't watch much of your last vids because I didn't play the last cod but I'm excited to follow this one with you!!
I like the division system bc it makes you think about what's really important, like do you choose to stay hidden from uavs or move around more quietly
Concussed with Expeditionary division level 4 with S-Mines is crazy OP u get 2 S-mines and 2 Concussion grenades plus u can resupply and have basically infinite S-Mines with each kill great for War Mode.
Ace I think your list is spot on... I just WISH we could pick more than one. It does feel really limiting, and even though I'll play this game religiously all year, it feels like such a detriment in the wake of being able to customize perk classes in virtually all of the recent games. Kind of a bummer.
Just For the record, inconspicuous is not the same as dead silence, it only reduces the level of noise your character makes whist moving around, for dead silence equivilant you need to be running mountain division with the silent movement perk unlocked
Nice video. Although your top 7 are good for basic death match, but Hardcore is another thing. My top for Hardcore is definitely Concussed, Inconspicuous and Rifleman
Scoped with an Airborne SMG class is so dope. Love using it with the Grease Gun. Another cool class I like is a lookout Type 100 with QuickDraw and grip, it’s my go to hardcore class. A perk I think is highly underestimated, especially with shotgun classes, is gunslinger. A pump shotgun with steady aim can wreck in maps like Pointe du Hoc or even close quarters in London Docks and flack tower.
Primed is just too good for a standard gunner, but I always like going for nonstandard choices. I feel like Launched is a better choice than Flanker for a team player who can lead their shots. It's one thing for you not to appear. It's another to drop a Recon Plane out of the air only a few seconds after it's called in. I really enjoyed using Bang with the Expeditionary Division. Lots of grenade spam for objective modes. I know I'm going to be using Serrated. I know people will hate me using Serrated. I've always been the kind to bring a knife to a gun fight and with WWII being back to boots on the ground, it'll be closer to my old BLOPS days.
Alot of these trainings are really situational. when trying to complete "Kill X players during X playmode" bounties, I usually run Ordinance. with some planning, you can feed your killstreaks into eachother and rack up those kills.
Requisition is a top tier too just for the fact is you can put on the highest killstreek and as long as you kill and capture objectives at least 2 or three before you die you will guarantee get those kill streaks due to the fact that your scorestreak counter never resets after death
Charlie intel said that prestiging your divisions can unlock more basic training skills on classes. EDIT: Looking back it could also mean there are additional basic trainings to select from from prestiging divisions. Not that you can add more than one on your class.
I think instinct might be one of the most underrated skills in this game. It is like what FTL has, just a lot stronger, and if you get used to using it, it could save you many times. I think the "thoughness" perk might be one I use a lot in the begining till I start get a better feel for the weapons. I also still want some kind of "specialist division", like, level up all divisions and unlock specialist where you can get more than one basic training (and then maybe there isn't so many division skills besides that)
Ace have you noticed that the basic training skills are linked to a certain type of division? For example the red basic training skill is targeted more towards the infantry division as it is more beneficial to assault rifles. The blue basic training goes along with the airborne division as they mostly provide some benefits to players that like to rush thus using airborne etc. The Yellow one goes with the armored division, purple basic training with the mountain division and the green one towards expeditionary. Check them out for yourself and you'll see what I mean.
All these people complaining about the basic training. If you guys NEED to have a certain perk set to be good, then you aren't a good player. Also, if you're just going to be playing pubs, then it doesn't even matter that much. A good player will almost always OUTPLAY (not out gun) a bad player. Good players adapt to what they have. Also you guys seem to think that it's only going to hurt you as a player, you have to realize that the other team has to make the same sacrifices you had to. Everyone is only getting one basic training. It's still an even playing field.
Dragoonsoul7878 if you encounter a lot of people behind cover use the FMJ attachment so you can shoot through that cover and besides a really skilled player doesn't go into gun fights he knows he gonna lose or doesn't go guns blazing expecting to kill whatever goes on his screen. A good player will push and pull. Sometimes push if you know they staying back while being aware of the places they could be at and pulling away if the enemy team is too aggressive. You don't have to always rush and even when rushing you are already at a disadvantage when going out in the open like a fool would do and only have your self to blame if you get shot.
A rushing player doesn't need dead silence or ghost. I'm that kind of rushing player that hits the team hard enough to not need ghost because they can't get a UAV. So many people run Dead Silence in pubs when it's so unnecessary. Not enough people use headsets and are just sitting on a couch waiting for dinner to be ready. Those that do use headsets are probably good enough to not need a sound indicator to know that someone will be flanking them.
Primed and flanker are my favorite basic training skills Mainly cause primed is just a no brainier you get toughness and another attachment And flanker makes you invisible on map from recon planes and delayed mines
it's different but I like the idea. makes you play a certain way for each class and will make competitive playing even more team oriented if that makes sense haha
Just a heads up though, Inconspicuous does NOT give you silent footsteps, they are just quieter. The Mountain division on the other hand is truly silent. I tested both with my headset and it was still very easy to hear Inconspicuous at any volume but with the Mountain division I couldn't hear my footsteps no matter how high I turned the volume.
Damn good video my friend 👍. Explained a few things I wasn’t aware of. Now I have a division & and training combo to look forward to that will be a bit closer to what I’m used to running.
Pick Ten is so much better. I WANT to be a supersoldier. That is a big part of the fun. We should all be super soldiers. Plus why make it "realistic" then have perks that magically give you spider sense?
This is definitely a step down from the pick 10 system simply because it's too limiting. A stealth player can't be completely stealthy. It's going to alter play styles quite a bit in my opinion.
For our dead silence wouldn't be less effective if you can still be heard shouting your lungs out in game because the foot steps weren't as loud as they were in previous games due to all the in game noise and sound effects.
If they change it so we can pick two or three basic trainings, I would be on board for this class system. I use smgs so not being able to use a launcher baseline is frustrating. I’ve always been a flanker but in past cods I could use a launcher to shoot down UAVs to keep my stealth flank playstyle. I cannot do that in this CoD without sacrificing something major.
Man i dont really like this system, it seems like there will be like 5 basic training skills that are needed. I really liked how iw did their perk system because the perks weren't needed but helped in game. There was never a crutch perk i used in iw and i used 90% of them depending on what class i was using.
this is IAMPIE which ones were for you? With my experience none of them really stand out as a must have every game. Maybe marksman if you are sniping but other than that i cant think of any.
Honestly rifleman shouldve been on here. Take a shotgun or smg with your sniper class, get a gun that doesnt suck when using an lmg class, and best of all, use with expeditionary and take two shotguns and get double the incendiary shells. Plus swap weapons faster!
pyromaniac000000 your right man. Rifleman worked wonders for me last night while playing War. I took the BAR, and a epic combat shotgun and placed 1st or 2nd like 4 games in a row.
A. House its nice, huh? But set up an expeditionary class with the combat shotty and the luftwaffe. It isnt the most effective, but damned if it aint fun!
I hardly see how HUSTLE is usable on PC. Given that we cancel the reload by sprinting, any perk that removes this option is basically a handicap. It would be very interesting to know what the differences between console and PC are as far as game balance is concerned, if there are any...
I think there should be endless possibilities when u combine different division skills with a basic training have 10 classes when prestiged up all different setups. Not as many possibilities but still alot
You had Bang's info backward. You get 2 tacticals and a frag. Actually, you had Bang and Concussed reversed even though the names would seem to be correct the way you stated them. Concussed gives 2 lethals and a concussion.
hustle, because the incendary round challenges are hard enouugh with the range drop without having to manually load the damn things as well. lookout is great on war with snipers. and i dont use nay others haha. i dont see the need, i rush too much
Currently at the midnight release. There's like no one here. Super shocking since my last midnight release was bo3 and people were wrapping around the building... But oh well. I still feel like it's going to be a good year of cod.
And basically some basic trainings are useless because of the division levels. For example: Inconspicuous can’t stack with the Armored Dead Silence and Scoped can’t stack with Infantry Stock Pro so no point of running them together.
This is gonna be difficult to choose I think I'd would use silent footsteps I never feel confident running around with a knife without dead silence I been knifing since bo2 and idk why but it's so satisfying for me to knife sometimes I play aggressive with the knife and sometimes I do it stealthy
inconspicuous isnt dead silence. it wont give you silent footsteps. it even says in the description "quieter footsteps" not completely silent like the one in the mountain division. Idk if anyone noticed a lot of the basic trainings are weaker versions of the division perks FYI.
SHIV4N the fact that you’re forced to use a certain division to get certain perks is bullshit. There’s only one division where you can use a suppressor (forgot which one). This is 10 steps backwards in terms of customization
Yeah, I can't think of any reason why this new system would be a good thing. People say "it forces you to try new things" OK.... If I'm bored and wanna mess around, I can go to randomClassGenerator. I don't want to be limited to some garbage class 100% of the time. Oh yeah and nades and tacticals on every single class is back--- and you can't use flak jacket and tac mask unless you want to sacrifice toughness and stock and use an LMG.
Do you know is there a timer on flanker basic training. Like if I'm not moving for 0.1 seconds and the radar sweep happens in that time will I show up on enemy minimap?
My friends and I were joking that what if they added a basic training skill that allows you to equip another basic training skill. Go Figure.
NWM where?
NWM lol training skill-ception
I agree that a lot of these basic training skills are just never going to get used now. To be honest, they need to condense and combine several of them. Maybe get it down to 14 or 12 and nerf a few if they're too strong at that point. I can already see only 7 to 10 of them seeing regular use in the current state of things.
Naah that would be shit
What ruins lots of cod games are those exagerated perks
too many and too much a divide between the strongest and the weakest. Two lethals for the "bouncing betty" campers with their silenced smgs and shotguns or having a launcher as a secondary. Where's the balance to this system?!
true. . a combination of the skills will solve it and allow people to make better classes. picking one is just too limiting
Marky Mark Chill, it's not that serious..
I only use two. Literally. I have like one class that has rifleman on it so I can have a sniper and a sub and the other is primed. I agree they needa buff these because one perk is not enough.
I dont think I'll ever be sold by this division system and it will always be a downgrade from the pick 10 class system imo.
Downgrade it may be, but I got tired of the Pick 10 system. The Create a Class I really liked was Ghosts' Create a Class. I kinda like these Divisions in a way.
I agree. I CAN PROMISE YOU GUYS THAT THIS THING WON'T COME TO BO4 .100%
THE LAST TIMELORD I doubt Divisions are coming back or at least to BO4 as well. Treyarch created Pick 10 and stuck with it, I'd bet they'd go with the same. Especially with the majority liking it. It kind of feels like a staple for them now.
agree
I just hope there is not a BO4. Unless it goes back to Vietnam and not the future.
I was a huge fan from bo3. Best cod youtuber in my opinion. WW2 is going to blow your channel up
Havent really played CoD in roughly 9 months. Feels good to be back watching Ace's channel
if you have good aim you should always use whatever perk/basic training that gives you less flinch
Good to have you back for me personally. Didn't watch much of your last vids because I didn't play the last cod but I'm excited to follow this one with you!!
Love the time stamp to skip to the title instead of just blabbering about other things. Much respect

I'm with you on all of these. I was always a fan of blowing things up and/or stabbing them, bullets are for boring people.
Good video ace
7:43 primed had an awesome introduction
Alot of these trainings are really situational. when trying to complete "Kill X players during X playmode" bounties, I usually run Ordinance. with some planning, you can feed your killstreaks into eachother and rack up those kills.
Last time I was this early we still got double-digit maps at launch
Lenny Ynnel 😂
lol
They should make it that we can pick three basic training
xHZNx I think 2
Requisition is a top tier too just for the fact is you can put on the highest killstreek and as long as you kill and capture objectives at least 2 or three before you die you will guarantee get those kill streaks due to the fact that your scorestreak counter never resets after death

Correct! We don't have all the info on those yet but I'll be sure to update once we learn more

I'm not an amazing player but I agree with this if you have the basics you can still play well
Very helpful video thanks buddy

Ordinance plus mountain seems to work. More kills and less deaths with cheaper score streaks.
Can't wait for this tomorrow!
I'm looking forward to using this class system. I liked it in the beta. It is going to provide much needed variety into COD.
Excellent vid Ace🖒🖒
Thanks for the vid ace. Needed this
my favorites from just looking are going to be:
1. primed
2. scoped
3. instincts
4. hustle
If sniping lookout with mountain is money. I also like hustle with a small or lmg. Infantry with a good rifle and inconspicuous is good too imo
My top 8 is Espionage, Requisitions, Instincts, Ordnance, Duelist, Flanker, Hustler, and Lookout.
Nice video! 👍🏼👌🏼
Honestly we need to be able to equip two basic trainings!!!!
Also, I'll throw in espionage. It tags people for 15 seconds! on the mini map. That is a long ass time to have someone lit up on the minimap.
Pick Ten is so much better.
I WANT to be a supersoldier. That is a big part of the fun. We should all be super soldiers.
Plus why make it "realistic" then have perks that magically give you spider sense?
Very informative. Thankyou👍👍👍
Primed Hustle Flanker and Lookout are the clear top 4 in my opinion
Surprised the extremely broken and OP espionage wasn't on top 7
This is definitely a step down from the pick 10 system simply because it's too limiting. A stealth player can't be completely stealthy. It's going to alter play styles quite a bit in my opinion.
Glazaboy 10 flanker with airborne suppressed smg😃
For our dead silence wouldn't be less effective if you can still be heard shouting your lungs out in game because the foot steps weren't as loud as they were in previous games due to all the in game noise and sound effects.
Good stuff..Thanks Ace.
I like the rifleman skill..when i run outta ammo with my primary in a gun fight i love to pull out a shotgun rather then a pistol
If they change it so we can pick two or three basic trainings, I would be on board for this class system. I use smgs so not being able to use a launcher baseline is frustrating. I’ve always been a flanker but in past cods I could use a launcher to shoot down UAVs to keep my stealth flank playstyle. I cannot do that in this CoD without sacrificing something major.

this is IAMPIE which ones were for you? With my experience none of them really stand out as a must have every game. Maybe marksman if you are sniping but other than that i cant think of any.
Compie Games oh now that I think about it I was thinking of perks my bad lol.
Attachments not perks
this is IAMPIE ohhh lol thats alright but yes i agree some attatchments were a must in iw
It would be nice to let the LMG class use two basic training perks. Maybe that would give the class the boost it needs
Honestly rifleman shouldve been on here. Take a shotgun or smg with your sniper class, get a gun that doesnt suck when using an lmg class, and best of all, use with expeditionary and take two shotguns and get double the incendiary shells. Plus swap weapons faster!

Hey ace i just subbed your channel yesterday. I think u forgot to mention ordnance basic training in your top 7 its very useful
Looks like I'm only going to be using Primed and Inconspicuous throughout the year.
Exactly this ^
Primed and lookout for me bro
ordinance and espionage are being used soooo much right now. Ordinance UAV spam is constant in DOM it seems.
Requisitions should increase the score for streaks every time you die.
I think they should let us use 2 basic training skills while sacrificing something to balance it. Maybe like tacticals or lethals.
For flanker, do you have to be running for it to be active? Or do you have to be just moving at full speed while walking? I’m confused about it
Thank you for putting the time when you start the top 7
Great job Ace on another great video
I have a question...
Is there going to be any changes to your upload schedule?
I see myself using Instincts, Hustle and Inconspicuous the most
You had Bang's info backward.
Brandon Whelan everyone most likely digitally pre ordered.
I love that there's an important decision to make and you can't be a super soldier
And basically some basic trainings are useless because of the division levels. For example: Inconspicuous can’t stack with the Armored Dead Silence and Scoped can’t stack with Infantry Stock Pro so no point of running them together.
Hunker For Dom/HP
Lookout for cannon
Primed for whatever
And mix it up with the others!!
I haven’t stopped using Hustle since I unlocked it lol
Flanker? I liked how it was before kept it balanced. Now EVERYONE is going to to use that basic training perk. EVERYONE!!
I wish we can have at least two. Damn it. I wanted primed and the ghost one.
Probably the last game i ever pre order
This is gonna be difficult to choose I think I'd would use silent footsteps I never feel confident running around with a knife without dead silence I been knifing since bo2 and idk why but it's so satisfying for me to knife sometimes I play aggressive with the knife and sometimes I do it stealthy
inconspicuous isnt dead silence. it wont give you silent footsteps. it even says in the description "quieter footsteps" not completely silent like the one in the mountain division. Idk if anyone noticed a lot of the basic trainings are weaker versions of the division perks FYI.
how do you get into the basic training? or is basic training part of the ranking system?
thank you
Wasn’t there one that let you chose 1 tactical and gave you 2 frags? I loved that one in the beta.
Requistions is really good for domination since you only get 75 score per kill
Granted the down side is you only get to use your scorestreaks once
I use lookout. Love to see the name tags pop up sooner.
The most I've ever got out of basic training in real life was marksman. So yea... only one ribbon. Can't complain and wouldn't complain.
Ordinance is by far the best perk. Faster killstreaks is better for the whole team
So I have to choose between Stock and Toughness. This class system is so stupid.
EonsHD not if you use infantry division
EonsHD nope, just use infantry divisiom and primed
SHIV4N the fact that you’re forced to use a certain division to get certain perks is bullshit. There’s only one division where you can use a suppressor (forgot which one). This is 10 steps backwards in terms of customization
Yeah, I can't think of any reason why this new system would be a good thing. People say "it forces you to try new things"
OK....
EonsHD you don't have to use an lmg.
Xclusive ace
Will you be using forage mostly or relying on weapons on the ground
Hunker=3 things
Gunslinger get the shots off first and good with shotguns
Ace, do fist melee attacks on German soldiers count as "Punching a Nazi?" and if so "is it ever OK?"
Does rank 2 of the mountain division make you invisible 100% of the time? Even when firing your gun without a suppressor?
Did they take out Phantom?
A basic training where it will give a random basic training every time you die.
Hi Ace! Absolutely love your video's
Primed will be the most used because of the crutch of flitch less
lookout, launched, and flanker
Rifleman is definitely better than hustle?? Same reloading faster but get primary as secondary
Do you know is there a timer on flanker basic training. Like if I'm not moving for 0.1 seconds and the radar sweep happens in that time will I show up on enemy minimap?
Ace, Will buying a Control Freak for a game like WW2 worth it or no?
Absolutely! They work great for any game that requires precise movement
TheXclusiveAce But now that u can't double jump anymore, what could it be used for in WW2?
Azzam Khalid accuracy, they just extend your thumb sticks to make more precise shots
Lowkey they don't help but I can't play without them
false marketing no pros play with KF anymore except clayster and they got top notch aim with regular sticks
Ace, is there 2 player split screen online in ww2? I got the game but don't know how to access it.
