i agree with matt that a lot of these tools are very specific and will be handy only in a very unique situation... but non the less this is an amazing job by tony, best respect to him!
If i had some CG render examples. For example, an arnold render with all the juicy utilities turned on. normals, position world, position reference, UV texture, albedos, AOVs and multiple lightgroups (both adding back to the beauty), and cryptomattes I would indeed make a pretty epic CG tutorial series ;). If anyone is willing to give it a try! Thanks Eric for the shoutout
@@CompositingMentor I would also love to see a cg comp lesson on how to integrate renderings properly with all those little tips and tricks! Hopefully you will get some nice cg examples!
Any advice on a laptop or ! Desktop build that would give me the power to produce great work ? I have a sad old laptop with a GTX 670m , which is working good with noob/ beginner level nuke stuff for now. I'm planning on getting a beefy desk top when I get enough cash.
@@VFXforfilm woops sorry.. I mean video compositing work and some vfx work . Not sure if my computer would has enough power to do some complex scenes that uses heavy nodes and stuff. Im learning video compositing from online tutorials and im completing some small scenes and will use them on a demo reel so I cam get a decent job somewhere in NY , jersey or anywhere online from home would be best for me if possible .Things are running ok for now with no crashes yet , fingers crossed. Im currently using nuke 10.1 on windows 8.1

Marcus Johnson describe what the “work” is. Compositing? Modeling? Simulations? Different price points.
