It seems as if they’re doing a storyline similar to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with their groups and artists. So the person in the end was actually BoA who is having q comeback in December to celebrate her 20th anniversary. I saw a lot of people thinking it was a new member or one of the aespa members which just tells you how that woman never ages! She looks etheral!

If you know Xu Yiyang, who is an artist under ex-EXO Huang Zitao's management, she's also was part of sm rookies girls but failed to debut in sm. Yiyang and Ningning were introduced in same timearound 2014 or 2015 as i remember.

Honestly, I'm relieved that the AI thing is more for marketing and merchandising than for the music part. That's a good thing I think. I did not like the song that much at first, but the more I listen to it, the more I like it ! And for the rapping Giselle was very promising in her teaser, so I think the next tilte track will allow her to shine more ! SM is honestly no joke when it comes to training their artists. That’s why I don’t like it when people say “They’re only famous because they came from the Big 3 (I honestly am confused what people call Big3 now but Imma still say SM, JYP and YG cuz that’s what I grew up into.)” I can’t say much for JYP and YG because I’ve only been an SM stan, but for where SM artists are concerned, they deserve all the fame because they definitely worked hard for it and saying “they’re just from the Big 3” is like discrediting the hardships they have to pass to debut.
And sm seldom being a debut spotlight since they wont send their trainees to survival shows, and never get the first win during debut time. Me as a sm stan too, I saw too much of those who says they come from big 3. Some people theorize that this is more of a concept song than anything (similar to EXO MAMA) because of the amount of references to their avatars. I think that makes sense, but also I just like the song and for some reason lots of people are disappointed 🤷🏻♀️
I think it's because some people (including me) had really high expectations for a debut song. The song isn't bad but it's pretty generic and not really memorable as a debut song (EXOs MAMA and Red Velvets Happiness are examples of memorable debut songs imo). Everyone has their own preferences tho!
Coming from SM,the SM stans wanted an sm debut song like how exo mama,shinee replay,snsd world,rv happiness, nct 7sence so yes it was epic just like all other Sm groups but the song was really generic coming from SM but if we think this does not feel like a debut but a comeback, even if I don't stan this group they are just as talented as other SM groups so hope people do give aespa a chance and don't hate people based on groundless rumours

I'm seriously just obsessed with the dance and am SO excited to see the full one on stage or dance practice!! The line distribution is also incredibly fair which doesn't happen very often especially for a debut, and ofcourse the MV and song? INSANE. The girls are so talented aswell, all of them stood out to me. There already are some haters cause of the Avatars that the girls have, but hopefully they won't see those and just get overwhelmed with the new fans and how great they are! Seriously hope they get a win, cause this song is addictive and imo the best SM debut, they put a LOT into this debut, and it's the first time I've fallen in love with an SM group immediately from day 1. Ningning is the name of the girl you mentioned as the "child" of Chungha and Jennie. She's part of the OG SM Rookies and she's a '02 liner. She's the maknae of the group and the Chinese member. Like Chenle, she also had a music background back in China (she has participated in singing shows there). I am so happy that Ningning has finally debuted. It's kinda sad to see her without the other og girl sm rookies but I'm also looking forward to aespa's performances.

SM groups always had this storyline and connected every comeback and now SM has announced the start of SMCU (SM Cinematic Universe i guess?). It will begin with Aespa and continue through groups like EXO, RED VELVET, NCT etc. While the stories/universe of each groups will unfold individually they will somehow intertwine and connect with each other to create new stories. Which is why we can see aespa's logo on superm's 'One' mv, the train scene in nct u's 'MAW' ending, and now BoA at the end of aespa's 'black mamba' ending.
Yeah but ever since that SM has a new CEO, we got a lot of RV Monster content (Dance practice, 3 stage version and red velvet vlog) and they got better in promoting their groups.

I really love it!!! As an sm stan for years, I've really waited for them to debut another gg. And, Black Mamba is one of the best debut song of sm groups in sm for me. I can't wait for their next comeback where they can really showcase their positions like Giselle being a rapper. But the vocals in this is just wow, I mean they're from sm so... Ps. There are reports they'll have 7 members but no more than that, they aren't going to repeat NCT's concept, they're far too creative for that. Plus considering the AI concept it would be too difficult for SM & extremely costly for them to make AI versions of so many people. I like them as four to be honest but will still support if they end up becoming 7.

But I really like the part of the lyrics that translates, "I'm the Aespa, there can't be two", which is open to interpretation if the Aespa girls are competing with their alters/avatars? SM held back in showing all of their cards with Aespa. Winter's skills weren't shown in the teasers unlike the other 3 and in result we were very surprised to hear her beautiful voice in this mv. The same tactics go as well with Giselle, wherein she's the main rapper yet SM gave her vocal parts. Comparing to what Giselle showed on her teaser, this one is more on the vocals. A classic SM strategy. This would keep us on the edge of our seats to wait and expect banger songs in the future.
I really liked the song but I won't say that it was super impressive. For the MV, the visuals were really stunning and the choreo looks amazing, the leg dance really remind me of SNSD's The Boys from 2011. Overall I really liked them and their vocals are on point!! What i always liked about SM's debut songs is the lyrics. Black Mamba is an introduction to their concept, previously Red Velvet debuted with Happiness and the lyrics have a great meaning to it too. NCT's 7th sense and Without You, both are amazing songs too. The very iconic Into The New World by SNSD also has a very inspiring lyrics! I loved the debut!

That’s why I don’t like it when people say “They’re only famous because they came from the Big 3 (I honestly am confused what people call Big3 now but Imma still say SM, JYP and YG cuz that’s what I grew up into.)” I can’t say much for JYP and YG because I’ve only been an SM stan, but for where SM artists are concerned, they deserve all the fame because they definitely worked hard for it and saying “they’re just from the Big 3” is like discrediting the hardships they have to pass to debut.
And sm seldom being a debut spotlight since they wont send their trainees to survival shows, and never get the first win during debut time. Some people theorize that this is more of a concept song than anything (similar to EXO MAMA) because of the amount of references to their avatars. I think that makes sense, but also I just like the song and for some reason lots of people are disappointed 🤷🏻♀️
I think it's because some people (including me) had really high expectations for a debut song. The song isn't bad but it's pretty generic and not really memorable as a debut song (EXOs MAMA and Red Velvets Happiness are examples of memorable debut songs imo). Everyone has their own preferences tho!
Coming from SM,the SM stans wanted an sm debut song like how exo mama,shinee replay,snsd world,rv happiness, nct 7sence so yes it was epic just like all other Sm groups but the song was really generic coming from SM but if we think this does not feel like a debut but a comeback, even if I don't stan this group they are just as talented as other SM groups so hope people do give aespa a chance and don't hate people based on groundless rumours

I'm seriously just obsessed with the dance and am SO excited to see the full one on stage or dance practice!! The line distribution is also incredibly fair which doesn't happen very often especially for a debut, and ofcourse the MV and song? INSANE. The girls are so talented aswell, all of them stood out to me. There already are some haters cause of the Avatars that the girls have, but hopefully they won't see those and just get overwhelmed with the new fans and how great they are! Seriously hope they get a win, cause this song is addictive and imo the best SM debut, they put a LOT into this debut, and it's the first time I've fallen in love with an SM group immediately from day 1. SM groups always had this storyline and connected every comeback and now SM has announced the start of SMCU (SM Cinematic Universe i guess?). It will begin with Aespa and continue through groups like EXO, RED VELVET, NCT etc. While the stories/universe of each groups will unfold individually they will somehow intertwine and connect with each other to create new stories.
Which is why we can see aespa's logo on superm's 'One' mv, the train scene in nct u's 'MAW' ending, and now BoA at the end of aespa's 'black mamba' ending.

There are reports they'll have 7 members but no more than that, they aren't going to repeat NCT's concept, they're far too creative for that. Plus considering the AI concept it would be too difficult for SM & extremely costly for them to make AI versions of so many people. I like them as four to be honest but will still support if they end up becoming 7.

SM held back in showing all of their cards with Aespa. Winter's skills weren't shown in the teasers unlike the other 3 and in result we were very surprised to hear her beautiful voice in this mv. The same tactics go as well with Giselle, wherein she's the main rapper yet SM gave her vocal parts. Comparing to what Giselle showed on her teaser, this one is more on the vocals. A classic SM strategy.
This would keep us on the edge of our seats to wait and expect banger songs in the future.
I really liked the song but I won't say that it was super impressive. For the MV, the visuals were really stunning and the choreo looks amazing, the leg dance really remind me of SNSD's The Boys from 2011. Overall I really liked them and their vocals are on point!! Plus I hope the next song will have a rap part for Giselle to show her rapping because she really slayed in her teaser.

What i always liked about SM's debut songs is the lyrics. Black Mamba is an introduction to their concept, previously Red Velvet debuted with Happiness and the lyrics have a great meaning to it too. NCT's 7th sense and Without You, both are amazing songs too. The very iconic Into The New World by SNSD also has a very inspiring lyrics! I loved the debut!
