Thanks for the video! My pump was still pumping air, but getting louder and louder. Fortunately for me, I was able to access both rubber 'flaps' from the discharge end and didn't need to take the other end apart. Thanks again, I have a quiet pump now!!
Worked perfectly. I used a cheap inflatable beach ball to make the little discs.
thanks a bunch!!! my pump stopped working after 2 days of use! I had a replacement from another aystem so I got by.. luckily. I just flipped the existing rubber pieces and it makes noise again.... it works for now!!!

I agree with the unnecessary music... Explanation on what exactly your doing and trial and error wisdom of the pump would be a lot more helpful. Also DO NOT use a heavy material for the gaskets! The thinness of the rubber material helps its flap allowing air to pass through the holes. Other than that interesting vague video on fixing stuff.
Why shows you exactly what to do, does he need to explain with words, "undo screw, cut rubber". A moron should be able to follow this, nice job, very helpful. Muted it then, he took the time to make this for us, you think you could spend the 2 seconds or less it takes to mute it if you don't like. i used 45mil pond liner on this one but you can try the 20mil or double it

Will you have to change those round rubber pieces latter? Also what exactly do the round rubber pieces do for it? This is awesome video I have been looking for a fix for my commercial 110L Active Aqua air pump (AAPA110L). Do you think this will work for it? Its getting a little weak on the air pressure.
Other pumps offer a diaphragm replacement but I don't think these style of pumps have replaceable diaphragms.

I've been looking at the EcoPlus 1 Commercial to see if I can convert it into a small vacuum pump, but there's not much info to go on. Is the air intake the offset tube sticking out of the black cap? Is it big enough to accept a 1/4" barb adapter of some sort? Thanks for the video, it was helpful.
find a tiny Refrigerator that the compressor still works -- makes a Great Vacuum Pump and very powerful and quiet. And should use no more than a 60watt light bulb to run.

Yeap Inner tubes work just use the old rubber as a template or use a compass, thats what ihad to do to my 60ltr a minute has it was sounding like a airplane and was way much louder than my bigger pump.when i repaired it , it was much quitter and then i done the same for the bigger one now they are both lower in Db (decibels)
if the windings coils are burnt can it be repaired ?

I have been trying to find reviews on these pumps.. there isn't much out there.. I ordered a EcoPlus Commercial Air 7 200Lpm 200Watts hope it works good... How long did the pump run before it broke?

This does not work. The pump requires a bell shaped rubber part, not a flat rubber piece as shown.

This guy doesn't have a clue what he is doing. Doesn't even show the flapper valve that needs replacing.
For this type of pump, what he replaced are the two "flapper" valves. The one on the piston is the intake and the one on the (front) body is the output. They serve the same purposes as the "flapper" valves in a diaphragm pump. It is a piston pump so no diaphragms are needed.
