yooo Endie love your videos mate!! I've read a lot of bad opinions on blade for PvE, difficult to play... not dropping big numbers... one of most expensive gear... etc but it looks so smooth and fun man. Im just gonna main it even if the progress is slow/expensive... will get there eventually 😅
Nice video. Really helps to see all the classes at endgame when it comes to choosing a main. What do you think between ranged vs melee? Is ranged more forgiving/easier to play against bosses? Definitely one of my main concerns for higher end raiding since melee seems like it's a little too easy to get hit by aoe
@Sad But Rad I see. The three classes I was considered are berserker, deathblade, and sorc, but honestly don't know if melee is going to be a problem for me or not. Maybe sorc is the most forgiving of these 3 simply because shes ranged?
Later encounters and raids definitely seem to favour ranged sometimes. One specific example I can think of is Kakul Saydon, the clown legion raid where there are these Dolls with large aoe fields that need to be destroyed. If you stand to close to the doll you may get unwanted gauge which can turn you into a clown for a while (can lead to a wipe). Ranged can take these out with ease, depending on the melee class it can be difficult. Also consider that bosses turn and move around so much that it can be difficult for melee that rely on head or back attacks, where as ranged do not have to worry about this at all
Great Videos. Not sure what to Main. Deathblade, Shadowhunter or Soulfist. Deathblade to max dmg you need to attack from behind right? Which of these you enjoyed most?
Of those 3 I personally enjoy death blade the most. Pretty much every melee has to attack from behind to get the bonus, even if you don’t have the engraving to boost back attack damage , if your skill has the back attack modifier, it does 5% extra damage and has a 10% extra crit chance

Man I've been on the fence about maining this class, it's the only class that I keep getting attracted to since I mained a rogue for a long time when I used to play WoW. I'm also mainly attracted to assasin/ninja type classes and characters overall and this character's abilities and combat flow are straight up my alley. I've watched countless videos on the class and how people rank it vs other classes in a pve environment, people saying their damage isn't that great compared to others etc... It was pushing me away from the class until I found this video... dude the damage you are dishing out is INSANE! I even watched all your other character end game videos and to me this class looks like it can most certainly hold it's own in the dps department... 17+ million crits, are you kidding me? I haven't seen another video of a blade hitting this hard! Granted this is end game, probably with perfect gear and engravings which we won't have for a while in NA/EU but man, this video sold me on my choice and I'm glad I'm making it. Goes to show the player behind the character can make a difference! Thank you so much for your videos. Cheers!
Blade being a mediocre dps class is very outdated info, the stigma probably exists from ~6 months ago and beyond when they were kinda mediocre, since then they got some nice buffs. Also the burst build does incredible damage (much harder to play though). If you enjoy rogue from WoW you might actually enjoy Arcana (plays similar to outlaw rogue) but that isn't a launch class. Combo point system with RNG buffs like roll the bones. But I take it you probably resonate more with the ninja / assassin type theme. Glad you enjoy my videos, hope you find your main!
I am confused, I dont see the skill you have set to W in the skill tree at all. (I am playing the NA release) If it is not in the game does anyone have any other suggestions?
Yo had the same issue, it's a skill you get post level 50 with your awakening. It's hard to find info atm bc of the recent NA release, I'd bet a lot of info is online in Korean and Russian.
Planning to main Blade, and this video just reinforced my decision. It looks much faster and more fluid compared to my experience in beta, and i loved it even with scuffed beta stats and no engravings. While on topic which engravings are you using?
grudge, remnant aura 3 (her class engraving), supercharge, sharp blunt, adrenaline 2. I'm going to change up her build soon, not sure what yet. Might go full try hard and go a back attack engraving instead with a back attack set. Just a lot harder to play. Anyway just know that Blade won't play like this for a while, maybe in t2? I stand by trying to get supercharge 3 as a first engraving though, with remnant aura level 1 as a second.
@@EndieM8 yeah, heard from multiple people that she gets much more fun once you have at least supercharged and class engraving. Think I'll take your advice and try doing supercharge3 and remnant 1 for starters, cheers for the info :)

I mainly pvp but I’ve been saving all the pve content for NA but that indicator is nice to have some bosses that I’ve seen without it can be little harder to see which way it’s turning in all the chaos of other players skills unless you can turn off other player skills in pve not sure have never tried or needed to yet.

Don't worry about that bs. It's always good player > class. If you fail the mechanics, your class is irrelevant :P The content is doable with every class.
that costume thing is bs not sure what that person was talking about lol. Her synergy is great, more than great actually. Its a high uptime 12% head/back attack damage buff, or 3% if the skill used is not a head/back attack skill. Additionally she has a high uptime attack speed / movement speed buff, shes one of the greatest party utility classes in the game. damn theres so much misinfo! i feel bad for new players, you've been victim of some random pepega's ramblings lol

Burst engraving seems more appealing to me but I heard it's harder to do good in late game. What is your opinion? Is it relatively easy to swap between class engravings or its costly?
Definitely harder. can take a long time to get stacks, if you miss your skill you just wasted the last 10-20 seconds (however long it takes to build 20 stacks), it also encourages skills that force you to be stationary (channeling skills) t get stacks faster. although it is not necessary to use such skills
@@EndieM8 How hard is it to swap class engraving down the line? Lets say I start with Burst but when I will find out its too hard is it relatively doable to switch or it will be costly?
@@lunattyyk Depends how far down. If youre only like 31 say (1 level 3 engraving, 1 level 1 engraving) then its whatever. If you're at 33333 then yeah. Because you probably have to change all accessories, some of your gems and probably your entire tripod setup. 1415-1445 is generally a good time to decide whether you want to commit to something, beyond that point it does get expensive when you start min maxxing. Also, you can test everything in the training room.

On KR, a patch came out not too long ago to add voice customisation (4 choices for everyone)

Both can work. Remnant aura is far more easier to play, but as Bursts' name suggests, can pop some massive numbers
