Awesome video that’s short and to the point! I also signed up for the newsletter to receive the nam profiles and said it sent to my email but never got them. Only got one to confirm my email but nothing else. Been wanting to try on NAM for awhile now and it’s built in the Amp Locker which I use quite a bit. Thanks and got a sub from me!
@ I found it and wasn’t in the spam folder either. Searched for EOL Studios and came up. I’ll definitely be giving it a try and NAM to see if I like it and what it’s all about. I heard it’s awesome and as close to the real deal amps as possible. If so I’m going to get me a capture box cuz I have some awesome pedals, amps, mics, speakers, etc to make some cool tones. Thanks again and will be watching more of your videos!
I'd love to know how to achieve wolfhearts tone, keep hearing it's how you play the strings and baritone scale, but there's more that they're not sayin
@@dylanjastle both work well. I find RE20 delivering amazing results. A bit more open and a bit less muffled than sm7b. I used both and both work very well in this scenario
This tone can be used to torture criminals in solitary confinement..or just to make a hardcore terrorist to burp out the truth..Maiden . Metallica.def leppard .dream theatre tones are so soothing..music is meant to heal .This tone can make someone sick
@@sahasrangshuchanda7214 haha that's a fantastic perspective!! It's all about the music and what it's meant to deliver. I do love different tones depending on the purpose
terrible take. objectively wrong. none of the bands you listed are known for their guitar tones being brilliant, dream theater is the only one with a reasonable modern tone. tones have only gotten better with advancements in technology over the years, you just let bias and nostalgia cloud your judgement.
Even if it is quite impressive what's possible with modern tools it's also far away from a natural and raw approach to music, as you probably would expect from heavy music which is known for not conforming and rebellious. I'm not a fan of Tapes that sound like being recorded with an old Tapeplayer somewhere in the Basement or Garage but today everything sounds way too synthetic and more made by AI and Algorithm than by full-blown musicians
@@JohnDoe-fz7hz yes I know what you mean. Balance is key! And finding that balance between polished and real is probably the hardest. It very much depends on the band and their vision too, and what is appropriate with their music
Why must metal all sound like the same guitarist? In 70’s there was one ☝🏽 Jimmy Page, in the 80’s the was one ☝🏽 Metallica and Jimmy Page still sounded like Jimmy Page. Today practically every metal bands music is almost interchangeable.
With greatest respect, I disagree. The modern tone is indeed quite similar. However, the riffage is very different. Check out Darko US, Invent Animate, Polaris, Silent Planet, or Humanity's Last Breath. You will be able to hear the similar tones and mind-blowing, different riffage. It was a huge revelation to me when I tried playing these riffs and found out how incredibly complex these are and how I truly need lessons to perform these at least decently. Peace!!
Back in those days barely anyone was making music because it was greatly gatekept by labels and people with money. If you compare those old bands with the current gen guitarists , you wouldnt idolize the old ones so much. Maybe you are refering to the mixing and not the guitar playing?
old people should keep their opinions off of the internet. let the next generation enjoy next gen music, we don't go on the internet to hate on metallica or jimmy page, you just like to hate for the sake of hating.
