- Mercedes-Benz has been building jaw-dropping coupes for decades, or at least, for as long as I can remember.
From 1961-71 was a particularly creative period for the German luxury car manufacturer, which saw the likes of the 220SE, 250SE and 280SE coupes released. These were beautifully proportioned two-door luxury rides that quickly found favour with the rich and famous and became style icons of that era.

Look like the arteon predecessor rear lights the Volkswagen CC. The merc coupes and SUV look like which is a shame compared to the sedans which are stunning even from the rear. Merc making the best The interiors currently, those AC air vents...drool!

It’s not a coupayee it’s a Coupe
The bridge between the rear window and the sunroof, carefully shrouded, is remarkably, massively awkward.
A visual fart.
Way worse than watching a presenter whose coached hand gestures are out of sync with the presentation...more like an English-dubbed kung fu movie from 1982 where the character's mouth moves three seconds after the words are spoken.
It's bad enough to hurt sales.
It would be great if there was no C and S coupe already. This one is pointless. It will neve be sporty as the C-class coupe and will always show you haven't got enough cash to buy S-class coupe! Stand alone - OK, in the Mercedes line up one of the worst!
