Did he serve National Service? Anybody has pictures he served National Service?
Post your own pictures first
@@logicrule who r u to question me?
Nobody cares about NS.
@guru6831 really? Government should abolished it then !!!
good qns. didn't thought about this. why isn't there any? genuinely asking.
How he become PM is puzzling?
He was not even the top 3 choices when PM candidates were announced then. After so many years as minister, what has he done right?
He failed miserably as covid task force lead for almost 3 years. Singapore started with one case few days b4 chinese new year in 2019 to hundred thousands cases under his charge. Covid eventually dies down itself.
Let's look at facts.
KPI against COVID:
How many people died?
How bad was unemployment?
Did we get the right vaccines that ensures our best survival chances?
Gst 9% dont ever forget who introduced it
Did he done National Service?
Probably exempted from National Service.
Dont know. Singapore new mystery.
Does anyone knows where n when he or his father migrated from?
Another Singapore mystery!!!
And who elected him to be prime minister? PAP are goons.
You dont need to be elected to be the PM. PM is chosen by the winning party
Why is he appointed , and taken for granted that the people have accepted him? The incumbent can suk suka abdicate and appoint anyone to replace himself? What kind of suka suka-moncracy is such nonsense?
u r sad and filled with hate with bad English and grammar.
PMs are appointed not elected right? In spore? Dont make noise. Could be worse! CCS! Cant even speak english properly! Mr wong is so mych better. Intelligent and hardworking and forward looking.
Pay jump this year man, congrats! Huat ah!
His fate changed after become finance minister n introduced gst 9%. Inducing high cost of living , making Singaporeans suffers and reducing Singapore competitiveness.
Anybody knows his background n if he has serve National Service?
LW does not have the iron in him. He may just be a one term PM.
Dont judge a book by its cover as the saying goes. Give him time. He already said the time of GCT and LKY is over. Changes are good but i agree we need strong laws. Look at all the trash thrown everywhere. !
Slimy cunning media very quiet about the cpf SA closure those after 55 years old in early 2025.
Yup, from public servant to prime minister and maybe in future after stepping down as prime minister, he maybe selected to take part in President election same as Tony Tan, Halimah and Tharman.
🙏🏻👍🏻❤👌🏻
The outgoing PM has a wealth of experiences for LW to learn. for example, refrain from making a pork soup joke.

Most new generation malays and even those in school all speak English now. I am sure they speak their mother tongue but english is the national language.
@@jessiejames7492 salah! Bahasa melayu is stillthe national language of singapura. Read ur constitution. Singapore has 4 official languages. Malay, english, mandarin and tamil

Public holiday 15 May
Minister Lawrence Wong finally spoke the unvarnished truth about 99-year leases - that flats would be returned to the HDB and only a small percentage of flats would undergo the Selective En-Bloc Redevelopment Scheme (SERS).
Hopefully he will be better than Lee Hsien Loong whom i hate.
0:05 Very Softie 😒
The PAP team keeps getting better and stronger, and it'll continue to gain numerous global recognitions for the country. It's so obvious that PAP is the only competent and effective party in s'pore.❤❤
Can LW be better than LKY, GCT & LHL. If you are about team, can Chan Chung Sing, Desmond Lee or Ong Ye Kang be better than Goh Keng Swee, S Rajaratnam or George Yeo ?
Sounds like diarrhea?
@@deepone5005 u should take some medicine
Really ?
PAP Gvt IB army out in full force. Yr leaders cant stand on their own 2 feet?
Probably not LKY quality, or even LHL, but he is the best we have right now, so treasure him before the next Gen comes along. I think CCS is slightly better but too much controversy and not articulate enough, and OYK is too woke for Singapore, so LW is the very best choice we have right now.
CCS said Singaporean Siasuay... Tell us to Keeqiu... Cotton come from the sheep... 👍👍👍
@sgfuture7114 exactly why he can't be PM, coz of trolls like u... but his heart is good, can see his passion for sg
❤❤❤💪💪💪
There was a highly negative public reaction to this clarification. One academic at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy put it this way
The government hasn’t been entirely consistent in their messaging with regards to housing policy, which created the uncertainty and anxiety.” Singaporeans felt there was a reneging of what they perceived as an asset appreciation promise by the PAP.

Won't last long. Good luck.
While many ministers claim to be of a humble origin, their path to the cabinet, more often than not, runs straight through the road of elitism
prove it, don't just use empty words
As if Donald trump rose through humble background......hahahahahaha

And what’s wrong with that? If the elites can govern better than the non elites I don’t see anything wrong with it. Singapore development records speak for themselves. Whoever that can improve the lives of the people best should govern. Are you saying we should put people that don’t know what they’re doing into seats of government? As long as people from none elite background can become elite
Why can't we have great malay leaders like Najib?
