- Natalie works privately with her students:
Emily Riggin: "So Big So Small" from Dear Evan Hansen (@Emilyjriggin)
Jules Brave: "If You Ever Left Me" [original] - (@imjulesbrave)
Jasmine Mohammad: Exercises + "Your Daddy's Son" from Ragtime (@jmsoprano)
Karina Constantines: "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Houston (@Karinaeleni) Развлечения
Natalie has such an excellent ability to establish trust with her students. She enables them to feel secure and comfortable enough to share their fears and concerns with their voices. Such a crucial part of a relationship between student and teacher! Thank you for sharing, Natalie!
the very serious "mm daddy" "daddy" "daddy" "daddy" got me wheezing
Same !!!
LMAOO
🤣🤣🤣
You have to wonder how many people wait until their parents leave the house and start going "OOOOOOHNOOGUYSSSS!!" 🤣🤣#GOTTAPRACTICE
LMAO
I feel this with my entire soul
Yep in my car when my kids are gone!
I love the tone of Emily’s voice and her vibrato❤️
As an aspiring classical singer with a very weak chest voice, i could have watched vocal exercises coaching with Jasmine for hours
natalie developed her modal register so well! loved the way she taught jasmine how to fix her approach in lower notes so easily. she really knew how the voice works
This private coaching of ms natalie helps me to access and improve my mix voice even though im just watching her here on youtube i see a hugeeee progress after 6 months of practicing thank you somuchh iloveyouuuu ghorlll🖤🖤
how did u have this private lesson with her?
I never had a private lesson with her i just watch her all the time and it helps me to improve my voice especially the mix voice just by watching this and her performances over and over
@@anonymousperson5333 oh okay. i wish i can have a private lesson with her. she is incredible. i cant find acesss to my mix voice or a belting sound
It’s like I’m having my own singing lesson when I watch these. They’re so helpful! 🙋🏽💖✨
Jules Brave is a BEAST of a writer and singer! SOOO GOOD!!!
I'm afraid to do the exercises because there are people around hence I never improve 🤣
tell the people around you that you're going to be practicing voice for 30 minutes and that they need to be prepared for you to sound really stupid and they'll probably be okay with it. Just don't do it when people are trying to work or sleep.
Karina's lesson is so relatable! I've had so many of the same experiences with only half-opening the jaw, aiming flat, inadvertently looking up, struggling to reproduce a sound I just made, and having vibrato appear everywhere if I don't pay attention. Oh, and squats are totally amazing! Props to Karina for not getting discouraged and continuing to go at it and for Natalie's correction and genuine enthusiasm. I love the chemistry between Karina and Natalie; that's how you know you've found the right voice teacher! 💕
I love how she doesn't make the students feel bad even when they have to repeat the same thing over and over
The private coaching videos are so helpful for those of us who either can’t afford lessons, or aren’t ready to commit. I’m grateful that she gives us this knowledge for free🥰
“oh no guys” is my 2020 motto
I’m dying “neeeeyah” artichoke pizza
jasmine is amazing and i can’t get over it
Always been waiting for this video!
I love hearing the differences after your coaching. You do such a great job!
I could watch these forever, really.
i was waiting for another one of thessseeeeeee
These videos are amazing❤️ thank you for filming these awesome moments with your students! From a vocalist who is constantly trying to perfect her sound, These are so helpful. Wish I were closer so I could take a lesson! Keep up the good work😊
Did you remind my mind about current vocal struggles? Thank you! These videos are my gold, I’ve never met a musician that speaks my language so well lol
11:14 "how do i do a straight tone?“
Girl and here i am asking how do i do a vibrato?
I love your vídeos! And i learn so much! Thanks! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
I LOVED it!!
Thank you SO much for these!! The first person's footage was so in depth (like even more so then usual) and I feel privelidged to be able to learn like this - it helps so much honestly. I find this to be some of the most fascinating content that I get excited in my subox/reccos. Thanks! Love from Australia ^-^
“Mmhmm THAT daddy” 😂😂
OH THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO.
its hard sometimes when you practice and dont trust the process and you start to think you should give UP! I am in this state right now. I could see myself in some students. It gives me hope to keeo going and trust the process. Thank you Nathalie and thanks to all the wonderfull students
I love being able to vocal technique geek out on Natalie's videos. This is so good. It sounds free and strong. Wow!!
More videos!! Your teaching and talent are abound!! God has blessed you, may he keep blessing you. 🙏🏽
This is so good!
Jasmine's back!!!!!! I love her so much.
Jasmine’s sound is glorious 💗💗 And she found that chest voice! Atta girl! Incredible. Omg, when she sang “son”?! YES
I can't believe how much patience Natalie has. Wow!!!! I need a vocal coach like her. I've never had lessons but need someone like her.
These are like mini vocal coachings for me 😂
Ok, so is she mixing “a million”?! Sounds like an extended belt. It’s amazing! She sounds a lot like you too!! 💗💗
I’d say it’s a bit more of an extended belt, but I definitely felt the access of the mix! My voice is on the heavy side. Working on lightening it up 😊
All talented. All vocally accomplished and Natalie... well, she's the ONE and ONLY! :)
please post more of these !!!!
These are my favorite videos ever. I have a voice student that is in the same position as Jasmine. Her voice is like, falsetto and we are working on adding chest. it's a challenge, but I am going to send her this video! Thank you Natalie!
a new natalie weiss video is all i asked for my birthday
I don't know if you know how helpful these videos are for the rest of us, but just to make it clear - VERY helpful! :)
Karina stole my heart. What an absolute doll.
I feel so identified with the first girl, it's so helpful to watch her improve as the class goes on!!
oh my GOD jasmine’s voice is literally butter😍
Omfgggg I sang with Emily back in like 2007 during state fair choir! ❤️❤️❤️
Uwielbiam te lekcje ! Sama wiele z nich skorzystałam !!!!❤️
I live for these videos
you're an awesome coach, Natalie, great ears for those tiny differences, I love it!
My mind wasn’t in the gutter until the flashing message LMAO
i learn so much thank you👍✌️
I learn so much from just watching!
Really, Karina?!! Jesus Lord 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻Sis, that was amazing
21:20 holy crap I love this song and Jasmine sings it SO beautifully I am awestruck 😍
Also Jasmine is amazing!
It’s so nice to hear the first girl - I am trying to learn to belt but was trained in opera and it’s so so hard to “mix” as people say - it’s like you either have chest or head voice! It’s really cool to see somebody having trouble with it as well
IM GETTING SINGING LESSONS SOON I'M REALLY EXCITED
Emily and Karina blew me away with their vocal range👏🏼
Oh I have the same problems as the first one, I find it really difficult to support in belting, at first it is working but then my throat tends to close :,v
Our queen Jules is back 👑
You're such a good vocal coach. I wish you could do Sara Bareilles' "Stay" you playing the piano. Hi from Spain. Love you 😘
"Your Daddy's Son" gives me so much Jigglypuff vibes!
Jasmine blew my mind!!!!
Natalie, I love watching you teach
First lady: as usual when working to bring more chest into your top register, the bottom notes ended up having more more resonnance also. Initially the sound was tiny but by the end it was like a completely different voice. Well done Natalie!
Second lady: a big issue with opera today is the move towards recording voices instead of theatrical. Because of this there is a push from conductors and vocal isntructors towards a lighter sound that doesn't involve chest participation. This is a big shame and the reason why opera experiences in the house have become so underwhelming. Whar you taught her is exactly what Bel Canto used to teach. Her sound is gorgeous, and black voices generally have that naturally powerful chest. She could easily singing on the same level as Shirley Verrett!! How thrilling! I know many operatic voice coaches would frown upon chest participation, but I really thank you for encouraging her in that direction! Well done Natalie!
Amen... When you don't work in your chest voice the middle range especially starts to loose weight and colour that it needs to be able to project over a big orchestra. I encourage my students to use their chest voice because the effect that it has in the top part of their range is great.
I think I need to see the Whitney documentary now
I'm Obsessed with Emily's voice... wow
Is Jasmine the same person with “English MUFfin” bc i love her😂
thats awesomeee
I wish natalie would be my vocal coach. I'm jealous
omg i love you natalie
Love you lots Natalie. The Patti Lupone Maybe This Time impersonation sent me cackling. Lol.
These videos are soo helpful and instructional. Would you be willing to do a video on that high belt stuff you were working on with Karina? Looking it up gives search results for pretty beginner “how to belt” instruction. As an advanced singer studying with classically trained professionals, that high (E5-G5) belt technique just eludes me. We aren’t mixing up there, so what is going on?
"artichoke pizza" hahahahaha
I dont have enough patience for Natalie's job 🤣
I love you Natalie Weiss
“Artichoke pizza” 😂😂😂😂
natalie i am such a big fan of yours and i have been singing since i was little. i have been able to have access to my chest and head voice but i have no clue how to belt or find my mix voice. any tips ? i’m slowly giving up because everytime i try it sounds like i’m screaming. i cant find the right placement.
the women in the yellow dress was sooo good oh my gosh
To find true chest resonance I have my students place their hands on their chests to FEEL the vibration and not be afraid to let it resonate down there! Allow that larynx to contract and the chords to thicken
Yeah!!! Thank you, just what I need right now 😍 question: I have to record plenty of songs these days for my new album and I have a sore throat, but my voice is not threatened yet. Do you think I can record? 🙈🙈🙈
And: I would kill to take lessons at yours 😍😍😍❤️
i wanna be coached by you for the rest of my life please
What is the first song they are singing? With the blonde lady? It’s so beautiful
Legends are made at Ripley Grier
"mee-ee-ee a r t i c h o k e p i z z a"
Jasmine sounds gorgeous with just No and Yah 🌟🌟💕💕
I wish you were my vocal teacher ❤️
Wish I could sing like them
artichoke pizza im crying
Morning from
Phoenix how’s it going
The resonant at 22:27 is insane.
Do you do rock songs with students?
What's the first songs name?
Is she doing Jessie J’s version of I have nothing in the end? I’m so confused lol
Someday I hope to get lessons with you! I know it will happen. Preparing for the Hal Leonard Vocal Comp. @lilybellmorgan
i'm starting singing lessons tomorrow (not with natalie tho, i wish) and i would like to have a little bit of moral support bc i've never sang in front of anyone at all
This is so late but congrats! How is singing lessons going? I'm thinking of starting lessons too soon
Emily would be amazing playing either of the mothers in deh
How does vibrato happen? 😬 BTW, I love watching Natalie's Private Coachings.... I think this is the closest I can get to actually having lessons from Natalie.
My jaw and I will be on the floor. Brb
