My little sister and I watched the finale together and we just bursted into tears (mind you she was 8, I was 19)
I haven't felt so satisfied but at the same time in denial of a show's ending.
I loved the finale as I felt it was a perfect conclusion to the series, but you can't help but miss it even less than one day after you're done with it. ❤

1:53 the fandom was going crazy when it ended like making "season 4" episode titles with synopses and concepts for a movie I loved it one of the most fun fandoms I've been in while the show was still going
Marcy's journal is literally so good!! I'm not a huge book fan but I've read marcy's journal so many times- mainly because i'm a huge huge fan of amphibia LOL

This was the first time I actually couldn’t accept what had happened in the end of a tv show, like it was the first time I cried at the end of a show since Gravity Falls
I remember when I would excitedly watch Season 3 in short clips in a playlist when it wasn’t on tv, and excitedly watching the ending with very poor quality on RUclips. Good times.

it has not felt like a year. this show was so good. i wasnt super invested in the first season, but once i got into the toh fandom and saw some fans of amphibia, i started to get into it again. the second season absolutely killed me and every episode of the third season i watched with friends on discord. i hope the owl house’s finale lives up to the expectations set by amphibia
This is the first "pretending _____ isn't over " that is fully relevant to me is making me sorta sad. I have literally watched the finale around 7 times now. I have cried every single time. And now The Owl House is ending soon too (less than a month right now". I am even more emotionally attached to TOH so idk how I'm going to handle it

I relate to this SOOO much, Amphibia is my favourite show of all time and when I finished reading Marcy's Journal I freaked the frog out. That plus Matt saying he would like to do a movie involving time travel and a show following Polly, Sprig and Ivy exploring the new continent has me literally laying awake at night thinking of possibilities. I NEED more Amphibia, please Matt, give us more.

Whenever I hear Amphibia, I take one second to cry. I had such a connection to this show and I don’t think that’s going away anytime soon lol

This my favorite(non-hyperfixation) show and I can’t get over the fact that it’s over-
It doesn’t feel that long ago-
Amphibia's finale hit harder because there was no open-endness, there characters will never see each other again and you have to accept that.
With other cartoons you get the feeling that their adventures will go on off-screen. Gravity Falls ended with the promise that the characters will see each other again next summer, and The Owl House already told us directly that the series isn't going to end with Luz saying goodbye to the Boiling Isles. Amphibia got a clear-cut finale, there can never be more show without undercutting this ending.

I was like this this morning because I was thinking about rewatching the series and still getting excited over the hyped episodes with the episodes that happen before ( like with Battle of the Bands and then True Colors)even though I already know what’s going to happen because this series lives in my heart and it always puts me in a butterfly mood 🦋it also makes me think about summer a lot
Also Season 2 is my favorite season of all time!!!!! Because we get to meet Marcy and just the episodes traveling to Newtopia felt like a summer road trip!!! 🌅
I watched the Amphibia ending and I went to bed and I kept tossing and turning and my heart was like “ is this really the end? “ and I kinda felt in denial but.. all good things come to an end.

Anphibia is my second favorite show (only being outdone by SU) and I love it so much! I got the book and translated all of the pages and now I have the language memorized

Fun fact: at the end of season 2 of the owl house by the stove there is a news thing that states that Luz and Anne are in the same universe, look at when the show ends before luzs mom opens the door

Amphibia and the owl house are disneys best shows
Seeing as the owl house and amphibia seem to take place in the same earth (in an episode we see an article with a picture of anne mentioning the frog dimension), and seeing as the door luz used to hop across dimensions is literally a gateway link up their dimension through a place that connects a bunch of other dimensions... Its probably possible for the girls to go to amphibia again.

Sad that we had to see Amphibia had to go
Amphibia made me who I am today. It led to me finding my true love for animation and stories. I'm currently writing my own travel to a different world/found family story to fill the Amphibia hole. This amazing show also helped me through my depression. Who knew a funny frog show could do that much!
You know, if we REALLY don’t want Amphibia to be over, the fan base could make a season four themselves…

What’s kinda insane is: I just watched this video yesterday. now I’m on Disney XD, the finale is playing, and the chibi tales crossover with The Owl House played during this last commercial.
Ok, for y'all Amphibia fans that are disappointed with the official extra content we have for the show since we really only have squishy chibi things and one book, here's a list of fan projects that help me from crying i haven't recovered from The Hardest Thing please help. Let's be honest, the fans end up carrying the show more than the show itself. Look at The Owl House- show got cancelled? Fans retaliate by making a whole-ass episode with intro and outro remixes and animations, a story, voice actors and more. (Don't believe me? Look up Nightmare Before Woe by the Animation Coven.) Anyway I'm getting off track, also warning this is going to be a VERY long comment.
1. *The Amphibia Subreddit:* starting out simple, i don't have to explain in too much. the community is fairly okay, the only thing that might turn people off is since the show's over there's not much new material for the subreddit to look at and 90% of it is just shipping the main 3 girls. the rest of it is pretty good, there's a lot of fan artists who post or repost their work there and its alright overall.
2. *Tomotasauce:* If you're familiar with the RUclips/Twitter side of the fandom, you may already know about him. Tomota is a RUclipsr and voice actor who makes hilarious parody/meme dubs of both The Owl House and Amphibia, and has two abridged series of each. They have their own storyline and running gags (MMMMMM FROG LEGS) and it can get emotional at times. However it is mainly comedic, and they're definitely worth a watch. Amphibia Abridged is coming to an end soon, so now's a good time to catch up with the series. He's been keeping the show alive for a while now, even after it's ended. He does swear, so little warning on that.
3. *Oh Geeez:* Oh Geeez is an indie pop/rock band based in Milwaukee that write songs based on many animated shows, including Amphibia. They have two albums that are Amphibia-themed, Coming Home and From The Heart (the second one is a combination Owl House-Amphibia album- If you're interested in Owl House songs check out Wilder and Hopes and Horrors!) I'd suggest listening to "Are You With Me" and "Jump Right" :)
4. *Amphibia Vol. 2 by Dr. Neque:* Read Marcy's Journal and can't conceal your curiosity at what happens next? This webcomic is about the trio as adults managing to get back to Amphibia due to mysterious signals detected by Terri and Mr. X, not unlike the energy from the Calamity Gems. It does have some suggestive themes so i'd limit it to at lest 13-14+. There is also shipping (as i presume the author is a Sashannarcy shipper) so if you're not into that then maybe steer clear of it. But if you don't mind either, it definitely gives you a dose of Amphibi-ness which i know i certainly have been missing. The author posts it on Reddit and that's where i usually read it, but it might also be on other platforms, i'm not sure. their user is u/D-WTF
5. *Amphibia Reanimated* This is a collaborative re-animation of the premiere episode "Anne or Beast?" hosted by The 2nd Dimension on RUclips. It's a joy to watch and all the animators did an amazing job, go check them out!
6. *Amphibia and Owl House Crossover Table Read:* Technically, there is a crossover of TOH and Amphibia with voices, just a table read at SDCC. There are a lot of animations and animatics of the read, particularly another collaborative one.
7. *Music channels:* Many RUclips channels make absolutely stellar remixes of tracks from the show! The main ones I keep up with are Kāru, Kalamity Music, John G. Music and SixtyTunes, but there are so many others. The most well-known one is Kāru's Amphibia Orchestral Medley, it's even been acknowledged by Matt Braly on Twitter. SixtyTunes mainly makes video-game remixes of Amphibia, and on other shows as well. Definitely worth a listen!
8. *Amphibia Calamity Beatdown:* Ok, so the official Amphibia game is mid. I get that. And it's not hard to believe that once again, fans made a better game than Disney themselves. Krizby and their development team did an amazing job with it, the graphics are really good, and the gameplay is overall not too shabby. There's a lot of references from the show in the game (and also from other franchises- take a shot every time you see a kirby reference ;)) The title screen was specially drawn by Matt, when it's blessed by him, you know it's good. It is buggy tho since it's only a demo version and the game is still in production
9: *Just look up Amphibia and see what you find!* There's a lot of content out there, animations, memes, stories, analysis videos and more that I can't possibly fit here. The fandom is starting to die down but it still thrives in some places!
8:46 there is actually an amphibia fangame! Tho it is only in demo right now with 2 levels (one being the harder version of the first level) played it today and I do reccomended it!

6:35 On the topic of Amphibia games, while it's not official, nor fully released, there is a much better Amphibia game made by fans called Amphibia Calamity Beatdown! Matt Braly even helped out by making some art for it and the sprites are the ones from the video game theme take over! From the demo I did see, the levels also seem to be much better too.
Guys, say all you want about season 3, but we can't denie the finale is PERFECT 😭

Technically speaking even before Marcy's Journal drop, the 3-gem-deity already told us that at least Anne would return when it told Anne and us that it can still wait for 78 years for Anne's Decision
The portal technology was theorized from the show that if in-putting certain music note at the correct order, a portal can be reopened, it's just at the time required Anne's calamity power to make the portal bigger in order to fit herself and the plantars to enter
Matt did hopes to create a movie of Amphibia that include time travel, but didn't specify whether the movie is a time-skip that happen after the series or a prequel of sort to the series

After reworking their plan for the campaign, they changed the project from a four-part special, to a complete 10 episode season. The first two episodes would follow the original arc for the special, with the last eight following an arc in their original campaign.
Honestly, I really just love season 1, not really adventurous (except at the end). But just homely and fun little stories.

There's an amphibia reference in TOH, on luzs mom's tablet, it shows something along the lines of "girl gets lost in frog world" or something! 😁

1. There's band Oh, Geeez and they made original Amohibia album and one kind of half Amphibia album(it's Owl House & Amphibia album) with lyrics inspired by episodes of this show.

I knew you were going to bring up the end of the book at the end there. I haven't read it yet myself (though I do have a job now so I'll be buying it as soon as I have the money), but I was told about the ending of the book. Your reaction is the same as mine when I first told about it.
Also, you're right. Lots of Star references. Are you trying to insinuate that up next is a recap of Star vs. The Forces of Evil? I hope so! I've been waiting for you to do a recap ever since you brought it up in your first Owl House recap!

the finale's whole deal is that even if they can return, that's not the point! no matter what they'll change and grow and have to find ways to move forward and instead of lingering on the past or, as you put it, living in a state of denial, we need to embrace that change and move with it, not against it. Terri might have had a portal right there waiting for them or they might never have gone back at all but what's important is that the characters we love ended up thriving in the end.
We have to do it like Critical role and save it by crowdfunding our series. Critical role is an American web series featuring a group of professional voice actors and actors playing Dungeons & Dragons. The series first aired live on Twitch in March 2015 after much of the first campaign was played privately. Critical role then had the idea from their role-playing campaign for a real one 22-minute animated special titled "The Legends of Vox Machina". The team initially pitched the special to traditional media studios but had little to no success. They then launch a Kickstarter campaign to fund the special. They wanted $750,000 to produce the special.
Regarding Amphibia Video games, one of the first things I saw from this show was its season 2 outro. I know this will never happen but watching them traveling the fwagon immediately made me want a BotW-style game set in the world, a feeling which only grew the more I watched of the show.
