She is simply marvelous, ballet training makes it so smooth and effortless. Stunning body! She must be so disciplined to achieve this perfection. Great couple, always a pleasure to watch them dance.
Riccardo and Yulia were, and still are, fantastic Latin dancers... But, I'm gonna be cheeky and do a name drop here though.... I wonder what (if any) involvement they had with Alan & Hazel Fletcher.... Hands up who knows them? 😉😉🤔🤔😎🇬🇧
How many times have we all seen these routines of theirs? Surely now that they dont compete anymore they could have used this time off the floor to create some fresh work as they are now only show dancers ( well Yulia might but Ricky boy is very questionable) But no they trudge out these tired numbers that frankly are not creative, theatrical or unique enough to withstand the test of time imo. I always liked the intro of this routine but then it hits a wall and goes into a speed that destroys the paso character and feel almost entirely and i just let go of the interest. Seriously if they dont want to or have run out of creative juice then perhaps it's time to leave the building. Artists in many fields particularly in this age of social media need to keep the audience interested with new material other wise they get stale pretty quick and for me this is stale.
will you write about the fact that they are outdated under each video with the performance of Riccardo and Julia? You have a lot of free time. This posadoble has already become a classic of ballroom dance, and the classics will never become outdated and will not cease to be relevant. But not everyone can appreciate classical dance and music.
@@nataliyalihitskaya850 What is classic about it and which other Pasos are you comparing it to? The only thing that makes this memorable is the first 1 minute and twenty seconds. The music is powerful and dramatic and the chreo is theatrical and creative. beyond that the rest is no different to any good paso done in a competition except that the music has been sped up so much to give it a dynamic feel and make it fast which in later times has become a significant hallmark of their style and they became all about technique, speed and energy. There's much more to a good Paso Doble than that, infact speed is one major thing that kills this dance. You are welcome not to agree with my view but I have put a case to you why i have that opinion now you present me with a supporting case to support your view. If you knew much about this dance you would know that it's Paso Doble and it's two words not one.
You do realize that if we see these routines more often it's because they are highly demanded by the public and/or because they are performing it in another country, AND for a different show? Or I dunno... they like the routine they have created and don't care because people also love it when they have fun with it? I've seen a handful of Paso Doble dances, and this one absolutely stands out from how emotive, unique, and intense it is. It was bone-chilling the first time I watched it, it remains to be bone-chilling years later, and no matter the video. Also: the speed is what makes it be "paso doble". If you watch bullfights, the toreros have to be fast and sharp, or else they'll get gored to death. So of course they're gonna be pretty energetic to capture that frenetic essence of a life-and-death sport. Are you fed up because they are 10-times World Champions and still remain to be amazing dancers in their retirement? 'cause you can always not watch them and attempt to dance these things yourself.
@@natrodrz Firstly.I have danced these things myself, Have you? Secondly. You have seen a hand full of Paso Dobles. When you have seen a hundred or two from every world champion in the past 40 years and from many of the very best dancers ever to grace a dance floor then you might not be so easily pleased. In a bullfight the toreadors aren't ever the main act, they come in only when required so this speed which was constant through out looses that brooding intensity of the matador imo. Which is why people go to a bull fight, to see a Matador fight a bull not the toreadors although it's all part of the show but the undisputed star is the Matador. I would have been ok with the speed if it wasn't right the way throughout the entire routine. It lacks that brooding intensity of the bullfight and instead felt overly aggressive and more akin to an episode of domestic violence than a true Paso Doble, but then just about everything about their dancing in the past 5 years or so is about speed and energy. Some buy into that, I dont so much.
