Your video made me cry. As a native Tampeno, I’m very proud of how far our city has come. Next time, you have to try Rocco, where they make fresh mozzarella at your table, Flor Fina in the new Haya Hotel and highly recommend Edison Food Lab. La Segunda is my first choice for a Cuban. Yum! Hope you visit us again!

Very interesting! I have been to Berns, Columbia, and Busch Gardens, but some of the places you featured - particularly, Oxford Exchange and the Rooster and Till - looked wonderful. Hyde Park is such a wonderful neighborhood! Hope you got your fill of Tampa sunshine before returning to London fog, clouds and rain. Tampa is really growing beautifully, and coming into its own!

I've seen the epicurean hotel when it was started, we haven't been by it. South Tampa is a different neighborhood, but we may go sometime.
The Cuban sandwich was invented to feed the workers of the Cuban cigars factory s on Ibor City Tampa this the owners didn't want workers to waist time on lunches ,workers used to eat at the work tables
Best thing about Busch Gardens was the hospitality house free fresh ice cold Budweiser
Now I feel bad that I’m looking to move to the suburbs of Tampa. But I will be taking a trip for sure.
City is called Tampa not Tampa Bay . No one lives in Tampa Bay

ahh so cool you know of Bern Laxer Kathleen! It was actually the first time I'd heard of him, but amazing what he collected over his lifetime. I hope you get to visit this summer :)
We've not been able to do the tour of the wine cellars, but it is interesting. I think there is a farm where they source salads from, and waiters start at the farm, or so I've heard. The dessert room is wonderful. Macadamia nut ice cream is supposedly wonderful. We don't eat at Bern's often. We haven't eaten at Rooster and the Till either, but I've heard good things about them. We live in Tampa, thank you for visiting and doing a foodie vlog.

What are they rolling in the cigars?
The cigars are actually just dried tobacco leaves, crunched together, then rolled inside another dried leaf. I didn't know this until I witnessed it myself - very cool!
Still so many places for me to try!!
