And then the second was Jack telling her, “you did such a good job, thank you for taking on the rest of it without me, and as well as you did it“. That was so needed to hear that he liked the way she did the job after he passed the baton to her after his passing away. Confirming that she did such a great job and now she can be with the love of her life.
My god, Mandy Moore approached this episode in such a believable way. She is Rebecca Pearson, and we glimpsed her wonder at the situation she found herself in. Tentative, worried, that Kate had not arrived, and scared, she slowly made her way through the train, knowing her life is ending. It was incredibly moving and just beautiful. I loved it.
