I had the same problem with other brand screen protectors and the blurry/grainy effect was always really bad and I’d end up taking the protector off. But honestly with TAC’s, I’ve had it on my phone since I done the review and love it, barely notice any of the grainy effect, if you look really close on any white/light images then yes you will see it but even then it is only slight, no one near as much as other brands, and no effect on screen brightness either which is a win-win 👍

I wouldnt get a tac again. They sent me a bad protector and refused to answer my emails asking for a refund or exchange. They don't have good support.
I have a matte one too but for another brand. I love it but I do notice a blurry effect… Do you see any difference with vs without ?

Yes slightly steep on the price but you’re getting 2 excellent matte screen protectors. I have mine still on my phone and am loving it
