Otz having fun as survivor gives me life, even in rough matches like this. I appreciate seeing Killer mains play survivor once in awhile, they're more understanding of their opponent, and get to experience the joys (and woes) of solo queue teammates. 💖

Agreed. Survivors got hit by the same realization over the first few weeks after the 6.1.0 DH change (not shitting on anyone btw, as an avid DH user for years I was one of them - yes, adapting was rough at first, showing how hard a perk or build can carry you in this game).

More often than not, it's because you're solo queue and your teammates don't last long enough in chase for you to be able to waste time looking for totems.

I was the jake in the nemesis game on eyrie, I had no idea it was otz!! Of course the one time I get to play with him I play like an absolute idiot lol
Back when keys opened hatch instantly and Hawkins was still a map, I went against a Spirit and became the last person on Hawkins where someone with a key DC’d. Once she hooked the second to last person, I go to get DC’d player’s key and wait for hatch. As soon as hatch spawns she closes it so I find her to find hatch. As soon as I did, she swings for me and misses which led to me finding the hatch and escaping. Just as soon as she connects a hit as I’m escaping through hatch did she have NOED. I don’t think I’ll ever have that much luck in DBD than I did in that moment.
Imagine thinking every killer main just plays Nurse and Blight. Some people like me don't play S tier killers or do only for daylies. Can you explain to me, survivor main, how is running NOED on a killer I'm not good with bad?
Could've something to do with everybody and their mothers running Prove Thyself during the event. The best counter to Survivors rushing gens is Killers rushing Survivors out of the game, sooo... maybe you can connect the dots.
Yeah tunneling at 4-5 gens is completely unnecessary and pretty scummy, the only time I'm OK with camping and tunneling is usually 1 or 2 gens with progress left

Someone just cleansing a Dull totem and it lights up. Of course I run Small Game in all of my builds and I try and break all five totem before the last gen is done so I prefer NOED not even activate. While rewatching this recently I realized that I was for some reason conflating "NOED" with "Toxic" which is wrong. While these killers were toxic, camping and tunneling, that doesn't mean that using the perk is toxic. I'm glad you're so polite after your games, that's part of what helped me realize that, and gives me something to aspire to!

Otz, did you know that Brand new part skill checks count towards your Hyperfocus stacks? If you bring Stake out, you can get all six stacks easy on any gen!
I Gotta say, getting a 1K(First Game) or even A ZERO K (Last Game) with a Nurse AND Noed equipped should tell yourself a lot about the level your nurse is at.. Thats crazy
Noed killer formula is always “tunnel the first person w no care for gens. Hook and proxy the next person you chase. Let them get the last Gen and camp the hook. Use noed on person unhooking. Either slug them or get greedy for the 4k.
I remember the one time when I was destroying totem before the match was finished to get extra point and it lit on fire two seconds before I finished. Never felt luckier hahahaha
In the spirit of this being a noed video, I'd like to tell the story about how i used to think "No Ed" was short for "No Education" and that it was supposed to be dig at the players intelligence because they needed to use an insta down perk
That's the same killer (first part of the video) that tunneled me and my team and camped in enough proximity to not activate anti-camp mechanic like yesterday. Around 1 year difference but it seems some people don't want to play normal.
I had a game an hour ago, where the killer was so bad the entire game, to the point I was going to give him a free kill, but then he had NOED and started camping and tunnelling and had the AUDACITY to say he wrecked us, it can be so infuriating sometimes
I think if noed would ever need to be nerfed they could implement the mechanic from Knight's hex when it turns on and off, depending on situation (turns off when at least one survivor is hooked or dying, turns on when no alive survivor is in one of those states). That way it shouldn't be a stomp against new survs and free promotions for bad killers, but it still could be used to secure a kill in end game or something. If the issue of tunneling + noed killers would show up, then that possibly could be a solution without outright ruining the perk. Hopefully no problems will arise, but we'll see after the mori update.
This reminds me of a game I had just yesterday, I was playing against a camping ghostface that had noed and both gates were open but he managed to get me he was camping the hook and a gigachad Rebecca went back in and was able to avoid him thanks to my kindred (for some reason he wasn;t using the shroud), broke the totem that was right next to him and managed to get us both out, it was a 3 man escape because the other guy died on 2nd hook I think.
"touch grass" is not an insult towards gamers, rather it is advice for them. When participating in intense periods of gaming, the human hand has a tendency to get sweaty. The sweat causes the hand to become slick, and it b becomes more difficult to retain a grip on the gamers gaming mouse, thus making it more difficult to perform well in intense gaming moments. By touching grass with the gamers hand, the grass will impart a layer of particulate onto the gamers hand, the particulate can be made of a variety of dusts, dirts and other natural matter. This particulate will then act in a similar form to climbers chalk, absorbing the sweat and drying out the gamers hand. With dry hands, the gamer can now perform to their maximum when gaming. This is why when an enemy or teammate tells you to touch grass, they are simply trying to assist you in performing better.
The change I recommend for noed is to have it no longer be a hex perk, and to have it create tokens for each unique survivor you hook in a match, up to 4 tokens. Hooking the same survivor repeatedly with no other survivors inbetween or a survivor sitting on the hook for more than a single hook stage with the killer in close proximity for more than 30 seconds will result in a token being removed. Once the gates are powered the survivors become exposed for 25 seconds per token on noed. This would reward killers for hooking multiple survivors and punish killers for tunneling and camping. Similar changes could be made to other meta perks to make them stronger in return for punishing the killer for tunneling or camping in any aggressive manner, without letting survivors simply body block constantly to deny your perk progression which I believe is also something that should be punished in some way.
That honestly isn't a bad idea. 25 seconds might be a bit much though. I think maybe the same timeframe as no way out perhaps? It would create good synergy with that perk.
@@CaptToilet the 25 seconds of exposed per token is meant to be a bit generous, its almost enough time for someone to die on hook while survivors might hide, creating a risk reward scenario for survivors who want to hide it out and potentially leave their team mate to die

Noed killer formula is always “tunnel the first person w no care for gens. Hook and proxy the next person you chase. Let them get the last Gen and camp the hook. Use noed on person unhooking. Either slug them or get greedy for the 4k.

That's the same killer (first part of the video) that tunneled me and my team and camped in enough proximity to not activate anti-camp mechanic like yesterday. Around 1 year difference but it seems some people don't want to play normal.

I had a game an hour ago, where the killer was so bad the entire game, to the point I was going to give him a free kill, but then he had NOED and started camping and tunnelling and had the AUDACITY to say he wrecked us, it can be so infuriating sometimes

The reason Nurse with no ed doesn't work is because good nurses never let the gens get finished.
I think if noed would ever need to be nerfed they could implement the mechanic from Knight's hex when it turns on and off, depending on situation (turns off when at least one survivor is hooked or dying, turns on when no alive survivor is in one of those states). That way it shouldn't be a stomp against new survs and free promotions for bad killers, but it still could be used to secure a kill in end game or something. If the issue of tunneling + noed killers would show up, then that possibly could be a solution without outright ruining the perk. Hopefully no problems will arise, but we'll see after the mori update.

This reminds me of a game I had just yesterday, I was playing against a camping ghostface that had noed and both gates were open but he managed to get me he was camping the hook and a gigachad Rebecca went back in and was able to avoid him thanks to my kindred (for some reason he wasn;t using the shroud), broke the totem that was right next to him and managed to get us both out, it was a 3 man escape because the other guy died on 2nd hook I think.

"touch grass" is not an insult towards gamers, rather it is advice for them. When participating in intense periods of gaming, the human hand has a tendency to get sweaty. The sweat causes the hand to become slick, and it b becomes more difficult to retain a grip on the gamers gaming mouse, thus making it more difficult to perform well in intense gaming moments. By touching grass with the gamers hand, the grass will impart a layer of particulate onto the gamers hand, the particulate can be made of a variety of dusts, dirts and other natural matter. This particulate will then act in a similar form to climbers chalk, absorbing the sweat and drying out the gamers hand. With dry hands, the gamer can now perform to their maximum when gaming. This is why when an enemy or teammate tells you to touch grass, they are simply trying to assist you in performing better.

The change I recommend for noed is to have it no longer be a hex perk, and to have it create tokens for each unique survivor you hook in a match, up to 4 tokens. Hooking the same survivor repeatedly with no other survivors inbetween or a survivor sitting on the hook for more than a single hook stage with the killer in close proximity for more than 30 seconds will result in a token being removed. Once the gates are powered the survivors become exposed for 25 seconds per token on noed. This would reward killers for hooking multiple survivors and punish killers for tunneling and camping. Similar changes could be made to other meta perks to make them stronger in return for punishing the killer for tunneling or camping in any aggressive manner, without letting survivors simply body block constantly to deny your perk progression which I believe is also something that should be punished in some way.
That honestly isn't a bad idea. 25 seconds might be a bit much though. I think maybe the same timeframe as no way out perhaps? It would create good synergy with that perk.
@@CaptToilet the 25 seconds of exposed per token is meant to be a bit generous, its almost enough time for someone to die on hook while survivors might hide, creating a risk reward scenario for survivors who want to hide it out and potentially leave their team mate to die
