I find it kind of awkward. I cringe when Japanese people try to use English words. English has several times as many unique sounds compared to Japanese.
The only thing that I hate about this game is the fact that Hard Mode and Super Hard Mode just throw stuff in your face that you can't process in a matter of seconds.
zedamex I know that there are worse games. I'm kinda not used to the Hard mode because I usually practice my skills on Normal, and I'm also not used to out-of-nowhere rhythms being thrown in my face and never giving me time to process what the hell just happened.
you can use directional buttons instead of ABXY so like right=A up=X right=Y down=B so when you get those three in a row for example just do A-Right-A rather than A-A-A
Tasty Churro Music rhythm games in general have the potential for you to keep coming back for years, where there are plenty of "AAA" tier $40 games that only last you 10 hours ^.^
julie martinez True, but for me it actually feels like DLC in Diva. It holds up to replay value where you have to practice and perfect the song for numerous hours upon hours. Where has other games the DLC gets boring fast depending on the game. But yeah I agree with you. DLC îs ridiculous especially the costumes in Project Diva F 2nd. $60 for all the costumes that I'll only equip once or twice and never use them again.
How the hell do you even unlock super hard modes??? GameFAQs said get an S rank on said song on hard after viewing the credits, so I did and got an S rank for Romeo and Cinderella since it's the easiest of th bunch, but still nothing.
Anarky Al nah just play through everything on medium to unlock all hard and see end credits. Then play any of the 6 songs that has Extra Hard and achieve an S ranking or higher on hard.
qaz123123123123 I was in the same boat! But now when I go to play xbox I keep mixing the buttons up >.> you can change it to just display arrows, but I kept it abxy so that when two notes come up at the same time I would easier decide which side to use for which.
qaz123123123123 i literally watching this with x360 controller in my hand and pretending i'm playing it on my 3ds.. the result was very very bad, my brain keep thinking like i'm playing PD with ps vita buttons, harder than i expected. maybe i should wait and train more before i buy the game
+jipao I have that same problem lol. I went to settings and changed the button colors to match the playstation buttons. I still mess up tho with the x button. But i can say that since playing mirai, i got wayyy better at project diva somehow.
Hey Zedamex. Could you maybe do a Super hard/hard comparison between the english and Japanese versions? Because someone said that one or more of the select songs super hard is more difficult that the english version.
Don't be fooled, the title says auto play. These were posted to listen to the button sounds to get the timing right. Without having to constantly spend points to enable auto play yourself.

Finish all songs so you've seen the end credits and get an s rank on hard. Only applies 6 of the songs tho
