Good day GG and Ciotti how is everyone doing? 00:04:00 On this stream…… 00:08:43 What did you miss on yesterday’s stream? 00:09:20 !0 Second run time? 00:16:44 FB is getting really weird. 00:22:36 How you can be better, let Ciotti help you out. 00:27:14 Big news!!! 00:30:00 Mobula6 2024 is $135.- more expensive the I thought. 00:31:12 Have noticed the Vtx and receiver is on the same uart on the mobula6 2024? have you talked about that yet? is yours like that? 00:33:53 would it be any different to have super high Kv motors and throttle limit them? 00:40:50 What to get at TinyWhoop.com 00:44:04 Prop popper strong enough to take off them damn NBD azis props and some of the other 31mm props that are insane to get off 00:48:44 How have you been liking the new ultralight Mobula frame? I'm thinking of trying it since I've had some tuning issues with the meteor air 00:51:42 Did you say you had some weird vtx table problems? open vtx over Msp will create the vtx table and send it to Betaflight. or so I've read. 00:52:09 How good of a deal is a good condition used Cinelog 35 with goggles v2 and GoPro 10 bones for 500, if I’m planning to resell goggles? 00:54:03 How about running 2s on a 1s motor but limit the motors to 50% 00:54:39 Double click on TinyWhoop Store will give you everything. 00:56:28 Did anyone else get the glow frame for the lakers build? 00:56:58 Be careful. .99 is too loose for me, .95 got me to where it’s not too tight, not too loose ;) 00:59:04 Is .9mm okay or do you need the .99? 01:01:06 What if you used the prop popper to install a prop. Then removing it would not require stressing the motor bell/shaft pinch 01:03:50 What's your setup advice for a 85mm outdoor freestyle whoop with naked vista ? 01:07:26 Do high Kv motors like the 40kKV WeBleed pull more amps? More than 5A on those beta boards? 01:11:52 Are you building Bardwell a whoop for racegow or is there one that's prebuilt? 01:12:53 Any idea why on one of my quads my battery voltage jumps around with throttle and on another it is more stable (on my OSD)? One FC is an F4 the other is F7, could that be why? 01:14:37 Use the prop popper as a spacer so it’s easier to remove the prop 01:16:00 Rule of thumb for putting your tiny whoop props on. 01:19:12 Maybe throttle expo is what’s missing for my 75mm rigs 01:19:38 you think ppl don't watch long videos.... getting people these days to read 3 paragraphs is like impossible. long form rational discourse is almost totally dead online 01:24:49 Do you think the new mob 6 with motor plugs (Eco?) will hit that 90% of ultimate freestyle mark? 01:25:58 Do you think the new mob6 frame won't shatter after 5 packs? to be fair to them I shattered mine in cold weather. 01:27:31 Have you tried the ultralight HQs on the mob6? Feels better to me 01:29:14 Would 0802 33000 Kv motor be ok for your jungle gym basher or are they a bit much? 01:31:06 I hate when someone makes a helpful how to video and they clearly don’t make videos often receives rude criticism in the comments about the quality of the video. 01:33:50 Do you know when the 40000kv motors drop?? 01:34:50 Should I transplant my old mob 6 to a cockroach frame? 01:35:10 Fractal has some 0802 1.5mm shafts. 01:36:04 I know the goal is to break it but would love to see one smooth pack with dialed back 10% and less crashing 01:37:46 Hat smooth work you did around/under coffee table in that one dialed back pack a week or so ago was amazing. blind passes, lots of control 01:41:21 Yeah let’s get airborne ehhhhhhh nope first putting the props on right 😂 01:43:18 Here we go. EXTREME Durability Testing the HappyModel Mobula6 2024 01:48:22 trippy the FAN 01:54:48 inverted 360 yaw spin at peak power loop 01:57:10 Does the inverted yaw spin stuff also apply to 5" rigs. 02:02:24 Ciotti IS AN ALL THINGS INVERTED HATER 😂 02:11:40 reverse the rotation on the wall ride, so you focus a single spot on the ceiling. 02:12:31 What receiver/USB capture device do you use to stream analog FPV for us? 02:17:53 Damage report. 02:21:21 I think only the Meteor65 and Crown frames would have kept up with this. Maybe the new Cockroach. 02:26:00 The whoop needs a to loose some hair😂 and the props doing great. 02:34:31 How are the motors holding up? 02:36:06 What are your next motors for that? 02:43:20 It's better to have more than 20 seconds of flight time before you're having to alter your flying to compensate for sag. 02:50:17 A cool move 02:52:40 Nailed it! 02:58:30 Is it possible to fly 1002 22kkv inside on a pro 75 frame??? 03:09:10 One props is bend, so were done testing the Mobula6 2024. What is the result and thoughts about the whoop. Stay safe everyone and have fun flying
I upgraded my Mobula6 (older model, ELRS 26.000kv, the one with the green frame originally) with your recommendations (TrueRC antenna, Meteor65 frame, BT2.0 connectors) and it has been super solid/reliable. Crashed it a lot, flew it outside, these things sure can take a beating. Also flashed Bluejay ESC 48khz firmware, which added 30+ seconds of flight time. Thanks for sharing so much knowledge, it has been a very nice journey so far!
I like your take on flying. Keeping things viewable but technical is also harder than many people might think, a lot of pilots just fall back on the crutch of adding many unnecessary spins and flips to their run to make them look like "good pilots" when the reality is that really isn't that hard to do.
The amount of thrust needed to fly doesn’t change based on KV. higher KV motors will only see a difference in throttle resolution and WOT. Basically if the quad hovers and flies at say “16,275” rpm. That isn’t going to change by changing motors. It’ll still fly and hover at the same “16275” rpm but your stick position will be different.
The NBD Hummingbird V3 doesn't even come close to the durability of what you just showed in this stream. Sorry NBD, this will be my new AIO when it comes out. 3 AIO on order ASAP.
Check out the new hglrc petrel 85 whoop. That frame is good for flexible battery size choice. Also siff and durable carbon support. Should fix your 2" whoop recommendation
Interesting, my main complaint about 2" whoops is that they just sorta don't make any sense to me other than carrying a Vista which at this point with Walksnail there's really no reason to do. Really good to know there's a durable frame out there though
I’m 99.8% sure your whole motor problem you complain about at 2:40:00 and on and on and on . Is the hair in the motors . Take a set of tweezers and unwind the hairs inside the motor casing . The ones on the props usually cause little problems . It’s when they get between the magnets is when you get issues . Ask me how I know . lol
@@CiottiFPV I see the part where you take the hair ball out. But I missed the part where you say it’s not the motors being shot it’s the hair inside the casing .
@@Loophole120 well the motors are beat up for sure, I spun them up in turtle mode a few times and I can feel it, I always hope that you all can hear it through the mic but I don't wear headphones so I don't actually know, but these still have a good amount of life left in them, I run these motors into the GROUND :)
Yes , but I’m saying I don’t think they’re beat up from the crashes . You have hair inside the motor itself . One little 1” long hair in there will cause havoc . Mainly in motor torq . A lot of jello with hair inside the motor casing. Not around the shafts.
@@Loophole120 right, yeah I know what you're saying but they're definitely beat up from all the crashing, I have it right here next to me with all the hair cleaned out and they vibrate quite a bit even with the props off, not so much that they're unflyable or will need to be replaced within the next 100 or so batteries but definitely not fresh any more
Plastic is clear so that's always the strongest color, I've pounded the ever loving HELL out of these Cockroach 65 v3 frames and I haven't had one even show signs of fatigue yet, you must be crashing REALLY hard
