It is almost 3 months since my grandson, not yet 19, was killed in an accident with 7 other U.S. Marines, off the coast of CA.
I have listened to this song every single day. It helps my sad, sad heart feel peace and hope. Beautifully sung, and truly gets me through the day.
Back in the mid-1960’s my church youth choir/ confirmation class performed this song, in English, before the church congregation. Thank you for bringing back a great memory.
Just gorgeous. These two young ladies have such beautiful voices. This was the favorite song of my grandmother, who was born in Norway. She always enjoyed when I played this song for her on violin. She is now in Heaven with Jesus. I hope you two can sing with "The Petersens" some day!
