1974 Albums. Nothing so standout for me. I am more or less copying a prior 1974 list.
1 Country Life - Roxy Music Out of the Blue/Thrill of it all/ All I Want is you/ 3 fine songs that soar
2 On the Beach Neil Young. 4 fine songs. Love in Mind/ Walk on/ For the Turnstiles/ See the Sky about to Rain. I like all the songs that don't have 'Blues' in the title
3 Pretzel Logic - any major dude will tell you and Rikki dont lose that number are good
4 Eldorado - ELO
6 No Other - Gene Clark The title song is so striking and there are quite a few good songs. Mix of country, folk, gospel and some psychedelia. One song is melodically like Young's 'Cowgirl in the Sand"

Bad Company . More of the same, generic blues, never bad but one album sounds like the next, I guess?
Good Old Boys - Randy Newman The harrowing Louisiana 1927. On another album by Newman is "Baltimore", another beauty to cause one heartache.
Diamond Dogs - Bowie Rebel Rebel.
Radio City - Big Star Sept Gurls and I'm in Love with a Girl are good and the rest is interesting, but falls way short of #1 Record.
John Lennon - Walls and Bridges . #9 Dream and Bless You are best.
Supertramp - Crime of the Century
Mott the Hoople - Probably good, never listened but know their sound.

The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway - Genesis. Strained seriousness. I like the title track and a couple of other songs, less so
