Always nice to see a renowned company make its return onto the market and increase competition by bringing very promising products to the table. I once had an Antec P182 (Gunmetal Edition) case and it still is a paragon of great build quality.
Great isn't it! I bought my case back then and as a reviewer now a lot of cases are much the same, but this was was really enjoyable to cover. I remember that too, great case.
@@jordanash There are still some gems and some manufacturers come up with smart solutions. But some of the new models have unreasonable design shortcomings. I have very recently moved from a Phanteks NV7 (I started to have an ARGB overload) to a Deepcool Morpheus. I love it how Deepcool designed this case, with 3 different internal setups and allowing to install 2x200 mm fans in the bottom, top and front. The feature pack of the Morpheus is really far beyond what the standard PC cases have to offer and I absolutely love it.
@@jordanash I like it that they have creative approach to designing cases and generally their products are of at least good quality. And they check all the boxes in price to performance/quality comparisons. They have also recently released a new, nice, slick-looking AIO (Deepcool Mystique) which it looks like it performs pretty well. For my build I went with Arctic Liquid Freezer III 420 (the black edition) and put it on top of the case. In the dual chamber configuration of the Morpheus I still have solid 2 cm of clearance, which is super nice to have.
That sounds good, they've been putting out some nice stuff recently. Ah cool, I have some Arctic coolers on the way (will also be helpful for case review clearances as they're thicker). I'll see if I can get one in I think.
Glad to see those preinstalled 140 fans with the adapter, the fan hub and the one block front header. I wish the PSU compartment were mesh and 1-2 140 vents could be installed under the VGA to blow fresh onto it. The solid built quality is also welcome. Will Antec change the damaged side panel?
I think the case would need to be bigger for that, as there's not enough space above the PSU to intake air. I'm sure they would but I'm not worried, it's not visible in videos unless I show it.
The thing with Antec cases is the back was always flimsy and it never sat flush with the motherboard or graphics cards. Nobody ever reviews that part. Not sure about it this next generation and not trying to find out.
This one is great, no issues with anything lining up. I didn't cover that as there was nothing wrong, otherwise I would have mentioned it in the video. If you watch the review before this, you'll see I don't sweep issues under the rug.
Great review, as always. Looking forward to the next one. Cheers.
Thank you 🙌
Great review dude.
Thanks man!

Damn 200mm fans all around, I'll have to have a look at that. I've yet to look at anything from Deepcool.
