sorry I missed your message before, no the segments were okay and I placed them back just the same as I did with the pistons too. Although I was advised to 'hone' the cilinders and replace the pistons and segments, I found it all way too expensive and for the little mileage I planned for driving each year, an overkill. Crankshaft was placed back the same way. It was the valves, springs and headgasket I was going for.
