I think shahrzad series was dealing with events in the 1950s, so only uneducated people would marry their kids in their 15s and specifically in Tehran , people were not boolish or uncultivated
I am not really sure abt the situation there tho
@fatimaAhmedSheerali those years, it was common to marry that age, maybe a few highly educated people didn't accept it.
My aunt was 20 years old, and my grandparents were worried that if she could marry someone some day.
Then, gradually, it is changed. So now marriage age is above 25 or even 30 years old.
But unfortunately, it still happens in small villages
Hi, I tried posting a link to ask a question about writing. But the link gets deleted I believe.
In any case, I am trying to learn to write and I heard that "álef" is not correct with the alphabet I use, since it lacks a line on top of it. But as an initial character my alphabet does not use it even in other modes, as final or middle, it still is written without that line on top.

Anyway, to answer your question
آ
with its hat always comes at the beginning of the words
In the middle or final posion is always ا (without its hat)
There are two execptions:
قرآن Quran
الآن now

Between the words Farsi or Persian, is there any substantial difference of any type?
I like the first better.
@@PersianwithAsal There is these other words too. I imagine one needs to memorize them all or that there are very few exceptions.

Sounds /a/ like the letter a in word hat.
When the first letter in the beginning of the word sounds /â/ like the first sound in the word "arm". You have to put the line or hat above alef.
Otherwise, it is written without that line.
