Eivor is the greatest vocalist on earth and a brilliant songwriter. Her song Boxes is my favorite song since Kate Bush was writing. Eivor isn't from the make believe world of Game of Thrones. She is from the real world of vikings. She co-composed and performed the Soundtrack for The Last Kingdom and appeared in one episode. Your soundtrack observation is interesting as I call her a walking soundtrack to something and that goes for all of her songs, all ten albums worth.

Eivør not only sings the theme song in The Last Kingdom series. Eivør actually sings in every single episode of The Last Kingdom. She was part of the production from start to finish of the series and also the movie The Last Kingdom. We can hear her Viking tones and voice in every episode and it is beautiful but also scary when the Vikings come.

She does not only ends this song like this … she ends the whole concert like this as Falling Free is usually the last song.

Eivor and her band is just magic. Eivor is like straight out of a fantasy novel but she’s very authentic and seems to be a very nice person. I for myself love her music.
Check out Artes film from her concert at Hellfest, France just a short while ago.

The Faroe Island is in The North.
They still talk the old viking language.
    It is ther fyrst language!

I regard Eivor as one of the greatest female vocalists and performers. She has an extensive back catalogue of music, which is very diverse and eclectic. For live performances, I would recommend two. Tròdlabùndin, live from the mountain farm, Stigen, in Norway. The other performance is the Sofar, True Love, Los Angeles performance. I mean, there is so much more, including her latest album. It's also worth noting that she did the music, with the composer John Lunn, for the series The Last Kingdom.

Her name is pronounced eye-ver. Like the eye you see with and a ver, like as in deliver which she surely does. This is how she has said her name is pronounced and she is very talented.

    Love Eivør. Nice reaction.
Not sure about Falling Free for a post apocalyptic show but it is epic and beautiful.
She has made Viking show music though.
Try Last Kingdom theme live at Hammersmith Apollo.
For more high vocal range gymnastics True Love live Sofar LA.

Your account says you're from Italy, so use the Italian pronounciation of the Faroe Islands, if in doubt.
    No shame in that!
