The ascending light is just a drone. Notice how they cut the flying shot to begin after the object supposedly exited the water. Otherwise, it would be obvious that they hovered a drone with the downlight on and then made it climb until it was out of frame. The camera monitoring the area was pushed in so that the drone would not exceed the 200ft AGL maximum.
There's really no need for them to produce this BS when so much more could have been achieved with this production budget

The small item rising from the water at selfie drone speed doesn't compare to the Nimitz encounters. My first guess is that it is a type of small submersible military drone of the United States or China. And it's operators just decided to have a look at what they were doing. And simce both coasts have a lot of traffic from nuclear weapons-carrying submarines of the United States, Russia, and China, expect alien aircraft to always be monitoring up and down both coasts both in the air and underwater. Also its likely there are underwater submarine navigation and communication devices stationed along both coasts too. Its also possible that this whole entire video is a hoax. from a shopped-in flash on the underwaer video to a selfie drone launched from the boat.
Everybody knows there is a huge base under Catalina Island. We only need to convince the government

OMG That orb of light n flash he saw in his pad was a USO 🛸. We saw a real Unidentified Submerged object coming out of the water shooting upwards to the sky people n that to on a live Documentary 😳 this is amazing... this stuff is mind boggling n needs more investigation.
When the flash was recorded the screen said he was driving the UAV straight and level at a depth of 3.4 meters, or about 15 feet.
The narrator made a blatantly false claim of a 1,000 foot depth.

To further prove he wasn't at 1,000 feet, the temperature is shown to be 14⁰C, about 58⁰F.
In pretty much any body of water on earth, unless youre sitting beside a hydrothermal vent, the temperature will be just above freezing (
My impression is It seems you’re conflating the commencement of the RLV dive, then the cut away and then back, then as it continued in its dive the Green Flash disables it about 1,000 feet.

I love how there are always inconsistencies on these sensationalist shows.
First of all, the magnetometer screen looks just like the fake hacker softwares used in movies. But lets assume is real.
Why didn't they scan again with the magnetometer after alleging that the UAP was the "thing in the water" registered by the magnetometer. That would be something, and the least to be a serious and honest investigation and not just leave it in the air.
And the thing is that they could have faked it anyway, but when you lie you're risking to be inconsistent.
Of all cameras budgeted into making this, all you get is a dot of light and bad actors delivering bad dialogues.. watch if you're under 10
