Pretty much only Dawn and Roger can take these turns at speed with an insane 9 ft selfie stick. Winds can get pretty crazy during some turns while avoiding traffic and cyclists.
She’s ended up making review on herself as a rider..Not on the wheel. Marty wants to hear more about the wheel. Therefore to him it sounded like a complain
More evidence that the capabilities of a new wheel require the rider to acclimate and gain experience/time/muscle memory on it. I'm looking forward to seeing how people progress in their abilities with the ET Max. ⚡Let's gooo!!!
Gotta say Dawn is hilarious. She's such a tech nerd but a good sensorial tactile rider. Far's leverage goes, its either more rider weight &or perhaps pedal fwd tilt. Glad Dawn figured that out at the end. That said, the more stable the machine is, the less the speed sensation. The fact that Dawn with her size & weight can jump on a new wheel & easily cruise 40-50+ mph is quite telling. Seems like the ET Max is gonna be a great street ride. Wish I was in Socal 🥳
I hate to see people prioritising wheel speed over gps speed. Marty, please keep using gps speed as the most valid way of measuring speed and, since you have influence, urge others to do the same!

@@ElectricUnicyclesi don’t understand why people can’t convert it themselves plus when speaking to non pev riders we always tell them gps speed when they ask 😂. We love wheel 🛞 speed
Wheel speed is all I have most of the time.
Not everyone cares about messing with gps I guess.
I see my actual speed on those radar gun auto turret things though

I had to comment even before seeing video. I'm excited to see this. Such good video and sound quality. Awesome narration. All I could do to stay in eye shot of Dawn and she isn't even used to the wheel and I was running full bore.

My Lynx had the wobbles. I lowered the pedals, plus added some spacers on the motor, because of creaking. Then after the rebuild, no more wobbles 😊🎉
How did you lower the pedals?

Thanks Marty for featuring Dawn Champion she is so cool! Didn't think about snow as a possibility in California but there it was! Dawn definitely needs to do a naked rain test heck with the bikini stuff. Great video and exciting that the etmax is giving off better vibes than the mighty Lynx! May have to order this from Lem and get my free tiny wheel,which of the promo wheels do y'all recommend, A2, mten mini or mten4?

I am figuring the main purpose of the air pressure is to stop the oil airation, not to adjust the spring rate. Recommend about 100=150 psi in it according to Begode.

So given Dawn's account of the wheel, it's definitely a wheel for taller and bigger people in general. The height of the wheel is going to give a lot of short people issues.
She is half the hight and about the weight of the wheel and complains about it less the Zen Lee who is tall and should be a little stronger … and she actually has the wheel experience willing to bet Dawn will adapt to it within a week and be wayy stronger for it … complain and stay week or try and get strong I am willing to bet I know which one Ms.Champion will choose 😝

When discussing Zen Lee, you have to realize the type of person that he is. Trollish a lot and negative but a skilled rider. I wouldn't use him to compare with Dawn in a situation like this
@@bordapatrol4930 An RS is a much smaller wheel compared to this, the height of this is pretty tall and it's heavy and those are the main issues. This is why Marty and Chris and Roger didn't have the same complaints. They are taller and bigger

What is Dawn's height? I am interested on the ET Max but am not sure if it will be too high for a 5'6"

does dawn know that the et max is 6lbs less than the Master pro ... very similar in weight. I also would like to know why she doesnt love the lynx when it is 24lbs lighter and nimble as a cat... I like the look of the ET Max but I have a lynx & do love it.
I think its the geometry. Some wheels are more designed for handling thus less stable but more nimble whilst some go the other way. As shown, Dawn is primarily a high speed asphalt rider so its not surprising she prefers the later. Perference, ride style & terrain determines it
She is very used to the ex30. Ex30 and Lynx doesnt feel the same.
Biggest pita with wheel vs GPS is my phone disconnects from GPS in my pocket :( - otherwise I would use GPS speed.

@@ElectricUnicycles An ET Max and an ACM side by side (not in a museum), is sure a sight to behold. Those are essentially impossible to find even in China.
U did a great job riding that big wheel around those curvy roads but that's was a little to much conplaing just ride the wheel and tell us what you think about it😂

Hmm...the weight - almost EX30. Max speed - kind of EX30, BAttery - lower than EX30...Im really questioning the point of existance of this wheel.
Watch some of Dawn's ET Max videos on her channel. Apparently she can't overpower the ET but she can overpower her EX30.
It's the height and weight and geometry of the wheel. I this wheel was shorter and shaped a bit different, she wouldn't have too much issues with it
