Autumn certainly is a great time to explore the highlands, far less tourists around to clog up the roads. The tentbox looks fab, seriously looking into buying one, luckily my friend has the 2.0 for me to test try, can’t wait. Great channel. 👍
Thanks very much, oh Greatest King of the Road ! The video was serenely tranquil to watch. Can't figure out how you do the aerial overhead shots when driving. I had been wondering about buying a car roof tent for my daughter past few years - she lives in the highlands. Npandy
Great Vid! I have a Freelander 2 also and am thinking of getting a tentbox xl. I noticed you have yours mounted just on crossbars which secure under the door, rather than on an actual roof rack. How do you find the stability? Most recommend to secure the crossbars to a rack if mounting a roof tent but clearly it can work without.. any thoughts?
No problem on mine and it stays on there permanently. The mounting brackets provided with the tent are perfectly adequate. As long as you've got some decent roof bars then you should be good!
Great video. Thanks for sharing
Excellent thanks Maximus. Very well presented and spoken. Really enjoyed watching 😊

I'm sure she'd be pleased!
