Regarding Lost Cherry and being buried with it - when I was studying forensics in university, I had to spend some time in a funeral home to do some analysis on a victim, and I learned that formaldehyde used to prevent dead bodies from rotting before their funeral smells like cherry & almond - and is exactly what Lost Cherry smells like. So now I always associate Lost Cherry with formaldehyde. And Lost Cherry is associated with death. Perfect to be buried with!

It's so cool you are getting into perfumes and yes TF is freaking expensive. There are dupe houses that make nearly spot on dupes for a fraction of the price that you could check out too if you want to keep going with trying other perfumes
I haven't tried any of their TF dupes, but Dossier are fkn amazing. I've tried their takes on Maison Margiela, YSL, & their original fragrances.
I just found out there are so many dupe houses because I got a sample of a Killian perfume, and I’m in love, but I’m not spending that!
I purchased a dupe of TF bitter peach to see if I actually liked it before getting a travel size - which is still $80!! The actual perfume is different but still beautiful. It’s more spicy and strong so I only need one spray.
Theresa, I was convinced to buy a travel size of Lost Cherry by your friend Mel Thompson. It was her favorite fragrance, and she raved about it on her channel. She even received a large candle in the fragrance as a gift from Beautylish and used to burn it in the background. I absolutely love it. I’m now on my 2nd travel size and wish I could afford a full size. I always remember her when I wear it.
I bought the Wicked palette in honor of my friend who passed away two months ago. She was a theatre teacher and she loved Wicked. Thanks for being excited for that palette.

I also live in FL and was vit D deficient. It’s too hot to go outside most of the year so it’s really easy to do lol. Before I worked remote I had an inside office so my window was to a hall woo!

In the UK department stores are like that, sales assistants end up chasing me because I'm like I'll be back in a minute and they think I'm escaping their sales patter. What I'm actually doing is going outside to check the foundation colour on myself. When I was in my early 20s I was fooled twice into buying very expensive foundation (for my age anyway) in the wrong shade because of stores lighting and you can't return makeup in the UK so I learned to be careful!
@@jojomarch yes what is it with giving us super fair skinned people a bit of colour? The benefit girl turned me orange once with the lightest hoola shade, I guess I shouldn't have been surprised as her own makeup was orange. Bronzer just doesn't really suit me. I can get away with the Charlotte Tilbury powder if I use a super light touch but that's it. I use blusher to bring the warmth. I think where the undertone of my skin is so cool and you can see a fair bit of blue that it will never look right.
I’ve worked in Uk department stores and if I wasn’t sure about the colour or if the customer wasn’t sure I would tell them to go outside and have a look in daylight because store lighting isn’t always the best
I never buy makeup unless it’s 30 - 50% off. I’ve learned my lesson and am paying for it monthly of buying brand need makeup. Besides, how many of you, like me have bought a makeup product based on an Influencers recommendation only for it to be crap, then a few months later also says it’s crap. I get so so pissed off. (Please note this does not apply to our Garbage Queen, she has never steered us wrong. Long live the Garbage Queen)

As for Lost Cherry dupes - highly recommend Not Another Cherry by Fine'ry at Target. I have basically been bathing in it. The body spray and the EDP. At least to my nose, it's a far better clone than the BBW stuff, which had a weird plasticky undertone.
Replica Beach Walk is my favorite perfume ever!
I got the I Am Her fragrance by Forvr Mood. If you like the Tom Ford Cherry you'll love this one. I also got the Fenty highlighter and I've been getting compliments.

I really like the Water Cream moisturizer from The Inkey List. It feels like a high end water cream/toner & is fragrance free & only $10. The ceramide moisturizer is good too. In the winter I layer them, in the summer the wc is enough. I recommend if you need hydration & don't want to pay for Tacha.

I got the Wicked palette, too. One blush is what deeper skin toned girls wear for the musical, the other is for lighter girls.

Yeah you made me buy the Dior pearly highlighter, I love it. I love an icy highlight. I also had to copy the entire internet and get the Fenty Gloss Bomb in fuschia flex, it is stunning. I messed with fake tanning years ago and it doesn't matter how evenly it's applied it wears off unevenly.

I used to be a Burt’s bees lip balm addict, but the dermatologist said I was probably making my chapped lips worse. Menthol can be an irritant, so if the CT lippie has menthol or mint, it might be better to listen to your lips and avoid.

I felt the same way about TF Cherry Smoke. Got it in a Sephora sample and could not get it off my mind, plus hubs loved it. I got the 1oz from Nordstrom using some of their points and it is my Winter Blues/evening out fragrance.

I but the smallest ounceage of perfume I can. I’m not a big perfume girl, but I do like to wear it sometimes. My favorite are the small bottles from Fantasy Costmetica because they tend toward woodsy and herbal, I’m not big on florals and sweet food smells.
The brush crimping part you wondered about is called the ferrule, I bought the same Patrick Ta blush, a RB blush in Cheer, 2 Prada lipsticks,YSL in Stora Dolls (finally), and a Sephora favorites kit, with Tower 28 mascara, kulfi eyeliner, wander lip gloss, Saie highlighter that's too dark for me and a hair mask. Thinking about a scond mini-haul..... Btw, what shade do you have in MUFE HD Glow foundation? I forgot, I bought the mini in Cool Alabaster, which is probably as close as I'll get, but I think I could go a tad more neutral....

Got the Ilia foundation stick it's so lightweight & natural looking, I also got the DM groundwork blooming romance palette, so pretty & easy to use, best palette I've used in a long time, got the same color hibiscus haze in haus labs blush ❤ & givenchy powder #3 is incredible. So happy I got a good deal on all these items, so happy with my new makeup 😊 I know your gonna love that DM palette 💖 good haul & thanks to you I am getting that spf kit b/c that bag 💚💯 I live in Orlando too I really hope we cross paths one day, please don't be scared if I hug you 🤗🗑😇
Another helpful tip to get a better deal is to use the sale on top of rebate apps. That can make a huge difference especially during the holidays.

That burbury goddess is currently in one of the sampler sets that comes with a voucher for the full size. I definitely recommend picking up that one since you already know you like one of the ones in it
I'm sure you already know -- but honestly, you can get so many free fragrance samples (even tom ford, chloe, dior etc) with a regular purchase at Sephora. That's how i satisfied my 'gotta have it all' phase with fragrance, without breaking the bank. Even 'Lost Cherry', i have as a sample and about 10 other Tom Ford fragrances... bc i'll never be able to afford even the 'travel size'. So this is just to say it's quite accessible to get samples of things and really collect a lot, without even having to buy even buying travel size versions of things. Is it as efficient as buying a sample set? no -- but fragrances are so personal, depending on skin chemistry, as well as personal taste, it's a safe route to take if you want to try things out and save some cash.
Would love to see the Replica video! My fave from that set is Bubble Bath and Beach Walk. I also love Coffee Break which isn't in this pack - but smells like the NICEST cup of coffee ever.

The brand Dossier has a dupe of the Tom Ford Lost Cherry called Ambery Cherry. It's so great and less than $50 for a full bottle. I'm on my 2nd bottle already. The brand does fragrances that are dupes of high end brands and they have a bunch of Tom Ford dupes in addition to Lost Cherry.

I've only tried a few milk makeup items. But I did get there hydro n grip. Spray, not the primer, the spray. That setting spray is amazing like.I can't even begin to tell you It literally melts any product on your face. It's very Dewey. It is long-lasting. It mixes with any type of product. Just amazing and I only bought the minnie . I gotta go get a full size now. My other 16 settings sprays jus sit there.
I love what I've sampled of the replica scents, I very much want the sampler but I'm dying specifically for their newer scents to be included in one! Matcha meditation, from the garden, under the stars, and coffee break. They have so many different scents, I'm hoping they'll come out with a different sampler set by Christmas 🤞🤞 or some of the travel spray bundles in different scents.

I've heard the word before but I had to look up the spelling. It's a ferrule that connects the bristles to the handle of a brush. I ordered the unisex perfume travel size sampler thing. Kinda thinking about the rare beauty blush if they haven't sold out by pay day.
I love perfume, but also get overwhelmed with so many scents in store. Samples at home are way more fun to try out.

Love the TF Lost Cherry. I extend my bottles of fancy perfume with a Dossier dupe (spray this on the bottom) then top with the fancy one.
I haven't smelled the Tom Ford, but dossier has a Lost Cherry dupe called Ambery Cherry that is *always* in my fragrance rotation. Might be worth a try for the $40.

When you go out in the sun just set a timer that's what I started doing and taking a vitamin D3 or the one that has calcium and d3 and k2 along with some food that has fat in it I can tell a huge difference
I've spent most of my life in Puerto Rico & Florida & STILL ROUTINELY STRUGGLE W/ VITAMIN D DEFICIENCY. I'M EXPOSED TO SO MUCH SUNLIGHT. I know most supplements are unnecessary, but Calcium + D3 is absolutely crucial for me. I also make sure to always keep my windows open & go walk to check the mail or whatever, just to get a little extra exposure.
Just take vitamin D capsules standing in the sun is silly especially if you put on sunscreen it will block the vitamin D
I'm looking for Sephora Collection recommendations. Heard the bronzer is good. Only deep & very deep was available in one version, that was on sale loooow, too. Looking to save 30%. Then maybe get a few splurges like fragrances.

Hi Theresa, fellow fraghead here 😂 Not sure how available it is in the US,, but Melting Lust by Emil Elise is a great alternative for Lost Cherry. Niche quality, way better longevity, for a much lower price. Give it a go if you can ;)

Our beautiful Mel got me hooked on Tom Fords lost Cherry! Every time I use it I think of her❤ Now with that being said Tom fords other scents are not great! Except the newer lost cherry variations( lost cherry smoke etc…) I also feel like I hate most fragrances so it’s probably just me and my picky ass nose!
THE FENTY HIGHLIGHT LOOKS SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD 😮😮😮😮😮!!!!! And I think they couldn’t put the branding because of the production of the powder and maybe that machine isn’t built yet… 🫠

The metal piece on your brushes is called a ferrule I've always said it like "feral" but yes. You have the ferrule the bristles and the handle and that is a bulk of what I learned in my art career in high-school 😂
I am so jealous of the Sephora Favourite Sets, they do not have them on Sephora UK ☹ but... most other shops have sales with at least 20% more than twice a year.
Edit: The Replica sampler is so nice! I discovered I do not like the hyped up By the Fireplace, but Coffee Break and Jazz Club are so good. I would recommend the Kayali layering sampler as well. I love the apple one, the cherry one and the musk one so much.
