I note the addition of a little sand on the two faces of the mould that are to be clamped between plates during the pour - is there any reason that you use dry sand for this as opposed to normally moist?.... Martin
Hi Martin, yes, it's easier with dry sand. It better fills the unevenness between the plate and the form. Wet sticks together, it is more difficult to spread in a thin layer.
