Tough loss. Difficult situations. I was just telling my wife(she’s from Argentina) about you and how I started watching you back in the $2-$5 days and now you’re playing at the highest stakes! Love that for you. My bankroll management sucks and it keeps me from getting there. I float in the mid stakes life.
Nice fold with the straight vs full house. Did anyone else notice that Mariano and Rampage win and lose in conjuction. They have like matching up swings and down swings.
Hey Mariano, following your vlogs since the beginning. After 140k subscibers I finally made a reply to thank you for your content. Really entertains me. Can't wait for the next one! Greetings from The Netherlands.
I loved the extra entertainment Mariano and your extra effort, much appreciated. I also appreciate your honesty in describing your hands and results. The magic will return my friend. I enjoyed the vlog.😊
Mariano, I'm curious about your thought process in the second hand (66). You say 4 8 6 isn't a flop that will hit your range often after you bet pf, and I agree. Then when checked to you say you think 2/3 pot is a good size. I'd think the smaller 1/4-1/3 sizing would be more intuitive as this flop probably favors Mars more than it does you. If you have a minute, I'd love to hear what you were thinking. Keep up the great vlogging!
I was watching that stream. During the KK vs QJ hand, I caught the "huff" from Charles when you bet the river. Then he announced a raise. That's exactly like the sigh-bet or sigh-raise that is pretty much always the nuts. I was surprised that a player is making that mistake at that level. Good lay down.
Good catch, this indeed is a very strong tell that I also use frequently vs bad players. You shouldn’t be surprised that Charles is making this mistake as the stakes played here doesn’t reflect his level of skill in poker. Charles is just a regular recreational who makes a lot of money else where and plays a ton of high stakes poker.
Let's be real and honest to ourselves, the KK vs QJ suited... on the rivers that all in from Charles has more like a one in twenty chance to be a bluff!
66 is hardly ever a 3 bet in that configuration Vs an UTG open, solver folds it a lot but calls at a much higher frequency then 3bet, it 3bets it between 5-10%, 99 is a square call from the BB in that configuration, only Mariano luck rewards you with the perfect outcome of getting 88 to shove
Jesus Christ. Props to you for not being infuriated after a shit session like that. Kind of sesh that fucks with your mind for weeks imo. Cheers brother
I like your videos because you are honest about wins and losses. These others bloggers mainly post the good upswings. I hope you please save your $ that you've won and be responsible about your future. I play 1-3 for fun, but I've seen gambling take over people's lives and completely ruin them.
I know people have good intentions when they post stuff like this but you’re accidentally being a bit rude telling a professional and overall winning poker player with multiple revenue streams how to handle his finances. You might play $1/$3 to gamble but this is his job. Just because he lost a couple games doesn’t mean he’s at risk of losing his life to degenerate gambling. He’s a winning player and you go on downswings when you play poker. He’s an adult and considering the position he got himself to from humble beginnings I think you can just trust that he’s making responsible decisions
No disrespect. You, I assume, are a bit older than Mariano. You are just giving advice, because you like the kid. Yes, he is a pro, and hopefully responsible. Your advice or hope comes from a good, respectful place. My 2 cents. I'm also av1/2 or 2/5 player in Portland. I have a job (union tradeperson), I play because I enjoy, win some lose some. It is unbelievable the swings people go through even at those stakes.
I’m out here with a total 1-2 bankroll of $12,000. The same amount you’re 3-betting pre flop to. My life is sad.. lol. Also, I love the extra effort in the vlog. You’re right just hustler footage gets boring after a while. I understand why you’re playing there so much though, absolutely PRINT money there.
I think I like the 7-3 call lol, one of those spots I cant even imagine myself being in because im launching those cards into the muck preflop but I love and understand why you are there
That's kind of the problem though. You double block the most obvious bluff (open-ended straight) and the board is paired so even if you hit the straight you don't have the nuts. (and if the straight is a heart there's a flush to worry about too)
15:08 I think that is a good call? He likely has 2 pair or better or nothing. I don't think he is betting with and 8 or 9. I think bluffs are at least 40% and you are getting better than 2:1
Much appreciated that you go the extra mile regarding different scenery in order to keep the vlogs fresh. The king of cashgame vlogs.

Love your work Mariano. Keep it up! Run it up
Good to see Britney sticking around haha
for the record, the scenery was dope and was actually appreciated
Good vid… I do miss you grinding different casinos earlier on and getting the variety .. but hey happy to see you play high stakes at Hustler
Facts. I’m trynna see him crush some fish at local casinos
Had to like the video after the monsters under the bed comment! Love it 😂
Nice to see some cool Mariano production drone shots. Have fun!
Nice fold with the straight vs full house. Did anyone else notice that Mariano and Rampage win and lose in conjuction. They have like matching up swings and down swings.
Great content! Would love to see you play other games besides @ hustler. Either way just happy to watch you play.
0 hands against Airball is wild

The best channel to follow if you are someone who's ready to play at poker clubs and make some smart moves!
I totally appreciate the beach and other scenes. Poker hands are a dime a dozen. Newport Beach at 11:00pm - now we're talking.
Amazing win bro. Keep up the good work!
Waiting for More Videos More Often if Possible Man !! Love your Videos !
Never used to like you 🙈 but now I'm a big fan 🎉👏🏻👏🏻 keep it coming, love it
Since you asked for it, Andrew Neeme used to be the king of B-Rolls
Isn't he still?
4:33 I see you Mariano, pausing the video specifically at this point to show off 💪BUFFIANO 💪
It takes a lot of character to go over your losses. Good for you mariano.
Thank you for all you do and the scenery! :D
love the vlogs man but i do miss trying to play the hand along with you while not knowing the other players cards. keep it up regardless brotha
Charles feeding him rope was beautiful to watch and that river masterful 👍
I loved the extra entertainment Mariano and your extra effort, much appreciated. I also appreciate your honesty in describing your hands and results. The magic will return my friend. I enjoyed the vlog.😊
It’s busy at Newport because of seaside donuts. It’s open 24 hours and there are bars nearby so all the drunks go there after drinks
Found some monsters under the bed! Love the positivity, keep it up, you'll be back in the green soon.
Appreciate the openings Mariano! KUTGW
That is some Beautiful footage a good one Mariano
Brittany’s scenery was better then the beginning scenery 😂
so hot
Top pair
@@sinatra222i’m dead
Yup
You really never get out or have seen women before?
What does your vloging setup look like? What camera are you using on and off the table?
I like your videos you came along way from when you started, have you had coaching from a mentor or is this all coming from you studying?
Charles remind of early rampage....what a punt 😂
Mariano is BACK!
Turn up with a dodgy 1980s home video camcorder as far as I'm concerned.
Just keep them coming. The journey is amazing!
I’d personally love to see you play at different locations even if it’s lower stakes

No because we're checking this flop a lot which means bigger sizing the times we bet
@@MarianoPoker right makes sense. Thanks for replying!
when it hits your range.. bet often and bet small... when it doesn't hit your range that often.. bet less frequent and bet big.
It’s beautiful there!! The wedge awesome skim boarding!!!
That's a lesson to teach everyone Mariano, sometimes don't think too much and be so creative where you schooled yourself with a 73o😂
Fire intro 🔥

He could be levelling?
He sighed because Mariano didn't go all in. 😂

I love that you didnt put what you won or lost in the title! thanks man!
Balboa Island. 19th St- the Pier. Childhood days. Thx for the scenery. I truly enjoyed it
Newport's awesome. Hope you run better in the coming weeks.
Always nice to watch your videos Mariano...thanks for the effort.

New video LETS GO!! Hope to meet you in the future!
Nice poker vlog 👌
keep up the content man! I stay in Irvine and lift and play poker as much as possible. I hope to catch you out in public one day and say whats up
Let’s gooooooooo, new Mariano video!! Such a good way to start my morning after a workout and a good breakfast
Workout? Five finger shuffle? Doughboy.
42% AK vs. KK even with calculating removal of cards seems very generous percentages!
Nice pair to your right 😅
Rest in peace brad owens i used to watch your channel until i came across Marianos channel he is definitely my favorite blogger by far now
9:35 barely over a minraise would be like 22-23k. 28k is way more than minraise (12+9,5)
Jesus Christ. Props to you for not being infuriated after a shit session like that. Kind of sesh that fucks with your mind for weeks imo. Cheers brother
It would be nice if you add subtitles. Love your vlogs
Sitting by Britney is +ev for the vlog
But -ev for profits
Couldn’t agree more
Good call w the 99 vs 88, very tough spot considering how large the jam is
Great video. Entertaining, even if you take a tough loss. That 7-3 tho... oof.
Appreciate the vids, Mariano and the effort keep it up and the downswing will end soon...
It is uphills from now… u will see
Lots of love man!
Mike X never bluffs man he plays really tight i never would have called
Brittney is 🔥
Your disciplined folds saved you money. Your buddy Rampage could learn from you!
Excellent video, man it's tough at the top...
Good job very classy video !!!!!!!
Tough hand with qj vs kk when you made a straight, good job getting away from it on the river though!
Great fold
I like the way Charles played his pocket kings. It would’ve been interesting to see how that hand played out if Airball called pre.

his human he will make the mistake it’s all in the matter of time invest Mariano then use that to play poker 🎉
Sucks to take the loss, but you keep it real and are always enjoyed!! ❤️👍🏻
Interesting vlog 🎉
Best part of watching this is you can't hear Airball lol
I’m out here with a total 1-2 bankroll of $12,000. The same amount you’re 3-betting pre flop to. My life is sad.. lol.
Also, I love the extra effort in the vlog. You’re right just hustler footage gets boring after a while. I understand why you’re playing there so much though, absolutely PRINT money there.
This whole session all I could think about was playing motorboat
“Snowboard instructor” as a job is literally a joke. Playing 100-200-400 making $10 an hour 😂
I think I like the 7-3 call lol, one of those spots I cant even imagine myself being in because im launching those cards into the muck preflop but I love and understand why you are there
I don’t know how you folded those pocket jacks…open ended …pair…it was worth it seeing river.
It’s so easy to get in trouble with pocket jacks tho 😅
That's kind of the problem though. You double block the most obvious bluff (open-ended straight) and the board is paired so even if you hit the straight you don't have the nuts. (and if the straight is a heart there's a flush to worry about too)
💥15" POKER HAAAAAAARRRRRDDDD💥
Bro went to Newport looking for his dad Gman
You should invite garret to your private game i bet he would be there in a heartbeat
Who is the porcelain goddess to your right... yowch 😍
How much practice does it take to get beautiful drone shots like that?
If you want some really nice scenery check out crystal cove in laguna or big corona Newport Beach
How much are you making off the raking on those "playchip" app games??
"Enjoy your two pair victory" sounding real salty@15:34
Honestly, that spade on the river is pry what saved you. It would have been much tougher to put him on kings or nines than a flush
ez call for AIRBALL closing the action in the j9s hand
That intro music at the beginning of the video was really smooth. What's the name of the artist?
Calling with a 3 and folding a pair of J's with an open ended straight draw...a little peculiar
Did you get a Cronut from the 24hr donut shop right on that spot?- there is usually a crowd of people there even at 3am!
Wouldnt a small bet (range ish) be better on that board with your pocket sixes?
Easy to say in retrospect but most people go for like 20%?!?
No
ty
What do you do after the game ends after losing this much?
15:08 I think that is a good call? He likely has 2 pair or better or nothing. I don't think he is betting with and 8 or 9.
I think bluffs are at least 40% and you are getting better than 2:1
Mariano, thanks for the vlog! How's Miss Megan doing? Pura Vida from Costa Rica! 😊
I’m doing well! Thank you :)
A bad call redeemed by an incredible fold.
Nit Airball play a hand ?
If mariano would play in a normal 200 500 line up the game would play around him
Helluva fold with qj suited.
you goat bro thanks for extra film
