Daniel is sooo...introspective and intelligent...I wish he got to explain himself more. Makes sense because he gives thoughtful insight in his songwriting

He got me thinking cause I do like guys that are nice, social, funny and know how to dress, and are confident, among other more important things, like respect and loyalty, but in a relationship those same qualities would bother me. Cause I don't want you to be nice to other girls and make other girls laugh, just me, but it's not fair to him cause he always been that way towards men and women, and I met him that way and that was one of the biggest reason I started to like him. He really got me thinking with that one... "Who are you dressing like that for?" when he has always been dressing nicely. I love a friendly guy, the way I see you treat others will be a turn on to me, specially if you are making them feel good about themselves but in a relationship this same thing would bother me. I gotta work on that cause damn...

I gotta say this. I’ve been watching Lip Service for years and sometimes I feel like Yee gets so caught up in the talking points that she’s not even listening to her guests? Gigi always listens and Stephanie is always transparent. We want to hear their perspectives and not the answer you’re looking for, Angela. It gets a little insufferable. She even said in this particular interview that she’s never been in love like that and everyone else that is present has, so there’s certain points she can’t even speak to. I just think she may be stuck in a certain era of media, which is cool, but that’s the real threat to longevity.

This is a good podcast, But y’all have got to learn how to let your guests speak and stop interrupting them all the time. Y’all really miss out on jewels because y’all are always cutting them off and over talking them

I feel like even with their explanations what’s lost is that women don’t go looking for no reason. When we’re safe and secure in our relationships there is no doubt. So you’re saying “if” but realistically you’re already doing something that’s showing you don’t love her for her to even go looking. I've watched some episodes of this podcast and I agree Angela talks more than the guests instead of guiding the conversation. I too, have something to say about this um... "set design" 🤔.
I understand for some this podcast isn't about the décor, but about the guests and the raw sexual dialogue. The low budget quality may keep it more accessible and relatable. If the set starts feeling like an actual TV set it takes away from the intimacy of the interview. Got it!
However, what I'm not getting is the peeled pleather on the sunken sofas, the dirty acoustic panels and walls, the crowded sminy coffee table, guests having to use the floor or the sofa arm as an end table for their drinks, the wrinkled backdrops, the sub par lighting and the scratched and dated flooring. I appreciate authenticity, but dis? It looks like this ---- was just thrown together. Being relatable is no excuse to be sloppy and unprofessional.
Angela has a background in Marketing, so she knows the importance of visual presentation for branding, hence the Lip Service branding on the floor, curtains and pillows. She didn't become a millionaire by happenstance.
But, I can't keep feeling like I'm virtually sitting in somebody's "too old to be living at home in your mama's" basement, or some busted cheap bachelor pad I know you just moved into, money is limited and you’re accepting any kind of furniture like your Auntie’s old sofa with the bonded leather arms.
Aaand...as a preemptive strike for that one niglet (cuz there's always at least one) with the 'Why are you so bothered, uncomfortable or worried about it?' There's a high probability yo ish looks like this at home. Hit dogs will holla. So exfoliate and drink water before you respond, because the real question is: Why were [you] so bothered that you cared to respond?

I absolutely love this show. But the one thing that I wish would change is that Stephanie stop talking over ppl. I understand she’s trying to make her point and we want to hear from her. But it would be nice if someone else is talking that she hold on for a sec bc I be wanting to hear what Gigi ,Angela, and the guest are saying and their perspective. But they stop talking when Stephanie talks over them and we don’t get to hear what the others have to say or fully hear what Stephanie is trying to say.
If anyone has any rude comments about these guys it's because they're insecure and don't realize these men are in touch with their feelings, they know how to express themselves, they're mature & their egos don't rule their lives! they're good men & they're handsome as well!!
