During my tenure, I encountered moments where personal ethical considerations conflicted with organizational priorities.
I could feel that when we attended the meeting. The power has swung in the direction of ads and I just hope there is smart people still there that realize that this is bad for Google long term. I respect your decision to leave when it didn’t match to your moral code.

Well said, never thought that 45% of spam is reduced was factoring in normal persons website. So crazy google did that while allowing all the spam from big sites which have the ability to spam way more. They just cleared the playing field so they can dominate everything. Sounds like they can remove this classifier whenever they want but dont want to knowing the removed spam is normal people.
There is some hope that they are doing something about the worst offender media sites now and they hadn’t done anything when we filmed this. Too many sites are feeling this right now.
Hi guys, I sent you an email a few months back with this, but I would love to see you include the CFM/CADR of air purifiers at the quiet fan speeds because most manufacturers do not provide that information. Even if only on the website review. For example, I have one Levoit Vital 200s in my bedroom, and I like it and I run it at the quiet medium setting (fan speed 2) but I have no idea what the CFM is at that speed so I cannot determine if that speed is actually appropriate for the room size (~120sqft bedroom). You should definitely keep doing videos. As to the topic at hand, Google search has been getting worse for quite some time. For at least the last couple years I would get good results on page 1 but starting on the end of page 2 to page 3 I would get all kinds of page results that were obvious spam (a mix of Asian, Latin American, and Eastern European sites). I did notice that in the recent past that this has stopped so their spam changes clearly worked, at the expense of smaller but authentic sites like yours.
@@Soloman021 I’m wary of sayings it’s CADR we record as that is a specific figure linked to a lab test. But I also understand your need so can estimate CADR based on performance at speed 2 compared to similar performance of another unit we have tested that has a lab CADR. So for example the Levoit Vital 200S cleared our test room in 46 minutes at speed 2 which is close to the Levoit Core 300S (45 mins) at full speed which has dust CADR of: 134 cfm. Assuming your bedroom has 8ft ceilings you would need a CADR of 80 cfm for 5 air changes per hour so you have more than enough with speed 2 on vital 200s. You will be getting 8 air changes per hour with your device running at speed 2. It’s truly sad how bad Google search has become with all the ads, product boxes all before you see a website. They have got very good at spam but seems they got desperate and rolled something out that was bad for the long term value of the web.
I got hit sept, march, aug. But sept 23 was the strangest. Everything went downthen except 1 review article. But instead of that ranking for the target keyword which is product reviewed, it ranked for best product for kids on nr 1. Ton of impressions, but this wasnt really a great product for kids nor titled to be anything that would fill search intent. Thats when I knew they broke something. Not recovered a bit yet but aug that article lost that crazy misaligned ranking too. And in oct my 250k YT got terminated because my kid uploaded 4 paw pawtrol game videos 5 years ago that was now claimed copyright. It wasnt even on the same google account, still didnt matter. Barred for life due to vague association 😂 great year.
Thanks for sharing. I saw so many strange stuff ranking after September 23, so many generic pages ranking instead of what searches were looking for - very strange. Wow, 😂 this is people's business and life work. I've had my rugged pulled multiple times, I get up and make something new. But shitting on people because they voice a concern is stupid. They're not alone. There are millions out there unable to keep their employees because Google went and f up their search so bad over the past years. Sure diversification, but you also need to raise some hell. Let em know they are not just serving their shareholders, they are only the middleman allowed to connect websites and people. Everyone should throw in a no index site wide show them who's providing the actual value 😂
@@Bemolos that's not a solution if you have someone playing unfair. Why is chrome about to be legally obligated to be sold by Google? Because they're gaming the system and regulations to make sure they are less of risk for competition. Red tape all over the place so that someone cannot accidentally build a great thing and it takes over quickly. "Do no evil" was their motto once upon a time
