My grandfather died at 56, but my dad is still healthy at 93! I’m 65 and I don’t want to go anytime soon. Bottom line is if God wants to call you home, so be it. My dad has been ready for years, he constantly says “I don’t know why the Lord is keeping me here….”😊

Both my father's died at 56. I was able at 39 to attend classes at Luther Seminary St Paul MN. During that time I did audio video work as the Seminary was beginning to offer online classes. One professor I recorded was Reformation and Martin Luther specialist. Spent 7 years in Germany at Luther's locations where he preached and studied. Professor Kittleson found loose leaf notes stuck in historic documents that had to have been written by Luther. One note comes to mind when we try to predict the future. "If you are told the world will end tomorrow. Plant an apple tree today." Martin Luther
What a great video. After expecting death for years, passing the expected date is absolutely fantastic. Every day becomes a gift. In 2003, I was given 18-24 months to live because of aggressive cancer. Twenty years later I’m still here through the grace of God. Besides it wasn’t up to that doctor anyway. Funny thing is that during those 18-24 months, I never did pray for extended life. But rather, let this healing be my witness and may my life reflect Jesus in a way that wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t been given that absurd death sentence. May your life continue to reflect Jesus for all the bonus days God gives you. I was weeping at the end. Touched me deeply. Thank you.

When i was 13, my dad passed at 36. I just thought he was old.Then when i got older, I realized how young he really was. The closer i got to 36 I got so nervoud. I am now 57 and still blessed to be here

I had a brother n law who was exactly like you. He lived life to the fullest. He would never settle in a job or let grass grow under his feet. He believed for years he would not live passed 25. He wrote about it in his journals. When he was 25 he was murdered by a neighbor he grew up with that was high on paint. So glad he knew to live his short lfe to the fullest. Sad part he left behind an unborn child he never knew about.

Try getting completely off of processed foods (including all junk foods). Eat Meat, Vegetables and fruits (also eggs). Nothing out of a box or frozen meals. See how many of your health problems go away. Hard to do but worth it. Happy Birthday! I'm 63 and moving forward.
We are getting better and better at becoming self sufficient and only eating whole food that God made🙏❤️

Congratulations John! My FIL had a similar thing in his family with his dad, granddad and brother having heart attacks in their 50s and he lived to be 87! He broke the curse just like you did.

After my father passed at 66 yrs , we went to cemetery to visit other family grave sites and found the that my grandfather and uncles who had passed before my dad had also passed at 66. I totally understand you! Sixty-six came and went....whew! Enjoy watching you guys! Take care and God bless.
you sir, and I are the same in the way we think. I also don't have a great relationship with my two older kids. I have two step kids with my second wife and I have the best relationship with them. My wife and I have just bought our first RV (travel Trailer), so I have been watching youtube videos for about a year and came across yalls channel. I have been keeping up and love the videos. We came out to visit Camp Gratitude for a week from California back at the end of May. At that time I was 71. My father died when he was 71. His father died when he was 69. I didn't think I was necessarily doomed to die before I hit 72, but I definitely had an increased impetus to use whatever time I had left to bring glory to God. I just had my 72nd birthday on September 14, and I'm still truckin', and I salute you for passing a similar milestone. God bless all three of you! Allen & Rosalie

My dad died at 54 its frightening that I will be 55 next week, it goes bye in a blink. Although I do have a strong faith and when my time comes I will not be afraid. Ive watched a few or your episodes over the years and this is one of the best , just straight talk no bullshit.

I was fearful of dying at 40 years because my mom died at 39 and sister at 40. I told God if He let me live past 40 years, I’d plan on being here to 80! Thinking then that’s a long life! Now that I’m closer to 80 than I was then, it doesn’t seem that old. 😊
I sure hope I get to meet y’all and maybe camp there! My budget is small, so I’m not able to purchase the membership yet.

Being 75 years old and fighting cancer for five years I know how it is to feel like you don't have much time left. All things considered however, I have held up OK. I work with the recently passed. It’s obvious many didn’t wake up planning on not having another day. It’s a great reminder for me that life and love is very very precious. Never go to bed angry and always kiss your loved ones goodbye. It may be the last time you see them. Yes John the morgues are busy. Stay out of them for a very long time. Take care of your skin.

Your story has special meaning to me. I am 78 next month. For the past 8 years, I have been the oldest living male Huckeby ever. I, too, had that deadline that I wasn't supposed to live beyond, but I have. I have asked myself many times why me? I dont know the answer to that. I DO know that I have been a caregiver many times to people who I loved and who passed on. I am doing that with my current girlfriend, as well. I sometimes ask myself if I have been kept around because people need me as their caregivers. I know that I am burned out, worn out, and very, very tired, but I have faith in my God. I like the idea of coming down there for some healing. Maybe someday I will be able to do just that. Thanks for this video. It really hit home!!!

As someone with stage 4 cancer and was given 6 months to live, that was August 17 2017 and I'm still here so God still has something for you and myself to do, live and enjoy your life to the best of your ability as I do the same. I have nothing but best wishes for you and your family
I totally get it. Very few people in my family have lived into their sixties. My dad and brother both died at age 50. All my ancestors died young too. I turned 56 last May and had heart surgery in August. I had an 80% blockage in the widow maker vein. I am lucky it was found before I had a heart attack. By the way, my great great grandfather was John Gunter who found and formed Guntersville, AL. That is my mom’s side. On my dad’s side, one of the oldest continually operating pottery business was started by my great great grandfather, Abraham Miller. Miller Pottery in Brent, AL

I've been on my own since my ex-wife left me in 2011 with the encouragement and assistance of the "Woman to Woman" ministry of the church we worshipped with back then. Yes, I've changed churches since then. In 2019, I retired at age 63. Yes, there have been some relationships with women since then. But just before I retired, our Regional VP who is still one of my dearest friends in the world, asked me when I'll "start acting (,y) age". I told her, "I don't know how to. I've never been this old before." Trust God. That's my advice.
We're never guaranteed tomorrow. And nothing happens to us that God does not allow. I love the old saying, we make plans and God laughs. He truly is a God of surprises! I'm so glad you're still here because I want to meet you guys in person finally! I loved the Lenten video calls and enjoyed meeting everyone virtually. Now I have to get there in person. It's on the to do list. 😁
