S6/edge score same as edge +/note 5
So if u want a big screen it might help but otherwise I don't think there's much of a difference

in note 5 it's definitely lower because of the same resolution but bigger screen.
so screen is definitely better in s6..
extra battery gets used up by
the larger screen and the ram and the spen so no difference in battery usage.
only the spen is an advantage.
Sound quality - S6
Front camera quality - I will say S6 because of the wide angle. The iPhone looks like it provides more detail on areas such as the beard.
Rear camera - Hard to tell honestly. The S6 has those nice, vivid, eye appealing colors.
Auto focus - I feel as if the iPhone was faster in some cases by a little margin.
@ 3:13, my first pick was the one on the right. I feel as it looked the best.
@ 3:40, I picked the one on the left because the lighting is much better.
@ 4:06, I give it to the left side because I feel as if the skin tone is more accurate than the "painted on" looking skin tone of the one on on the right.
@ 4:55, I chose the left hand side. The colors are very eye popping and appealing.
@ 5:29, I chose the one on the left. Same reason as stated above.
I would continue to pick and choose, but I feel as if my review is lengthy enough.
Couple things to consider. I'm being completely unbiased here and wrote this reply whole watching the video so everything you see is my first pick. I'm not aiming to please Samsung consumers nor am I aiming to please Apple consumers. I'm just stating what looks best.
Meaning that both cameras are awesome, no ordinary user will notice the difference, not much of innovation here.

Andrew Marinho Oh yeah it's pretty personal, but in terms of the color accuracy and dynamic range the Galaxy S6's camera is a step above the rest. Well, the LG G4 is also a beast.

I've been smart-phone shopping for a while, and I was deliberately waiting until the 6s came out for this comparison. Honestly, the fact that Apple still has mono audio recording is what has driven me to the Galaxy. I'm a musician, and recording gigs with stereo audio is a huge plus, regardless of the plethora of devices that I can connect to an iPhone. I've got my ipad for that. So it's official! Galaxy s6 it is. Thanks for the help +SuperSaf!

The Verge will still say the iPhone 6s has the best camera on a smartphone. while it is great and I sometimes prefer its colors and white balance. Samsung has a better front camera, camera in low light, better video and much much better sound. The iPhone 6s sounds like it's recording from under water.

It is one or the other, and it has to be the iPhone that won, their camera is aimed to make the photos as natural as possible not trying to get one that is good for the eyes. Thats the point of photos, capture the moment how it is and how you see it not a lower exposure and more saturation and higher contrast image. This IS something we have to argue about. CANNOT JUST BE LET GO LIKE THAT.

is there an option to disable the Live Photo? i dont want it to take up so much space. plus, I think its only great feature for certain circumstances such as capturing waterfall photo.

as an apple user, i do admit that the galaxy S6 has an amazing camera, much better than the iphone 6s. which i admire. but honestly, even that's not enough to make me switch phones. the iphone overall is the best phone to me, and i was a previous android user as well.
Have you used the recent ones because I honestly just switched from a galaxy s3 to a galaxy s6 edge + and the improvements are insane this phone seems so futuristic and detailed it has so many new options while the greatest updates Iphones do are a better camera 😩
The potential for both of these devices (back camera) is epic. I've done some fairly impressive projects with an iPhone 4s with the right lighting, and my 5c still holds up decently. I think anyone would be happy with either of these cameras no doubt.

The dual tone flash on the iPhone, excellent color, and pretty beast video are what make me say the iPhone won. I was genuinely surprised at some of the photo comparisons, I figured the iPhone would be worse but I was wrong.

I have to agree with this comment. In the past years I switched from iPhone 4 to the Galaxy s4 (which was great) then the s5 and since then I've run into problems with it with laggyness and camera slowing down after every update. Then 3 months ago I decided to get a brand new s6 edge and omg i loved the camera and how fast the phone was. Then during those 3 month i believe it had 3 updates. Since then the phone just lagged and the camera become horibbly slow at taking picture and focusing and quality just didn't seem as good as it was out of the box. Sorry to say but it's true. Not sure if it's just my luck or what.. But it happened with my s5 also.

With regards to the rear camera. You gave it to the Samsung S6 based on optical image stabilization. However the iPhone 6s Plus has optical image stabilization so which would you prefer in that case?

Just a clarification, the 6S and the 6S Plus are both sporting Optical Image Stabilization now, unlike last year, only the Plus version is equipped with OIS.
this is probably the best camera review comparison I've ever seen between any 2 cameras! congrats man!... the only critique I think anyone would have, is maybe due to human error, where you "might" be holding the note 5 more steady than the iphone 6s. if I was an apple fanboy, I would suggest maybe you were shakey when you were holding the iphone 6s. clearly the note 5 won this. EVEN the sound quality on the note 5 was loud and clear. to solve this I have an idea. How about you create a device that holds both phones right next to eachother like a selfie stick that holds TWO phones at once. that way when you take pictures with them no one can argue that you were not careful with either one of the phones. Just a thought
I like the format of this video - present two images, let people decide which they like, then reveal which is which. I'm sure after a while people recognize by how zoomed/wide an image appears which phone is which, but it still lets you go off your initial impressions first.
