I miss David. I was saved on the streets. One of the first sermons I ever heard was from him. My soul was lit on fire when I heard such passion for holiness in Christ. I thank God for hearing him. God bless.
What did David death signify?
I would agree that this was it and I preached behind David Wilkerson on the feast days as I heard God say after David death 2011 Rev 22 seal not up the saying of the prophecy of this book the warning and call to repent for the time is at hand.

He was a modern day Jeremiah. He loved people so much and it hurt him to see them continue in sin. He was genuine and now he's with Adonai. He was a huge influence in my life.

Me too. O asked God to give me His baptism of anguish, and now I easily see the wrong things of the world and I weep more than I ever have. And I now here God's voice.
I come back to this sermon as well. I asked God to give me His baptism of anguish over a month ago, and now I easily see the wrong things of the world and I weep more than I ever wept in my entire life. Even than family funerals, I never cried before because I held it in! And I now hear God's voice, and I said to Him "I can handle this..".

I miss him so much...its just not the same in church without him and his fresh anointed sermons...The bible and prayer fellowship with God is first and foremost important ....but brother Wilkerson and his precious compassionate heartfelt sermons are second place in my life....

Listen to Derek Prince; he died in 2003 but his messages are awesome and you hear the same humbleness in his voice and you really feel the Holy Spirit. I'm sorry I just learned about him, I've learned so much....
When you look for people of GOD look for humbleness. GOD resist the proud. HE loves a broken and contrite spirit.

Sadly there are very few preacher's like this anymore. They all seem to be afraid of offending someone more than they care about putting the fear of God in people. Fear is the beginning of wisdom that leads to one finding and receiving salvation. Pastor David Wilkerson cared. God bless everyone who takes heed to these words.

+anthony Faso -- It was only Pastor Wilkerson who died in the crash, though his wife was seriously injured. She passed on not really long after. His son, Gary, is now one of the Pastors at his Times Square Church. Such a loss for us here was truly a gain for the Lord whom Pastor Dave loved so very deeply.. One of the most powerful sermons preached in the modern day church! On a par with Jonathan Edwards "Sinners in the hands of an angry GOD". And even more true today than it was when he first preached it.

Thank God for this man. He's one of the only Pastors I can listen to and not get bored with. He had the true fire in him. I wish he was still here, but I guess I'll have to wait a while to meet him.

from Gods heart to the heart of a prophet.. we where warned and did not listen and we are still not listening..GOD HELP US. prophet of GODS feel the pain and anguish of a fallen church and sin in the pulpits.. Yet they are attacked ,, criticized ,persecuted , mocked, laughed at called crazies..

I've watch this sermon 2 or 3 times now in past few years, I still find it convicting in time my heart begins to grow callous, through a dry season, were the heat of summer feels more like winter.... so convicting. i dont know now how that what ever it is creeps in but hope it stops creeping in. I dont want what this world has to offer.

Just yesterday I saw, in the Church, behavior so shocking and disturbing, I cried in grief of my spirit before the Lord over this person. This message is more relevant today than ever! May the Lord purify His people in brokenness over sin. Oh God change our careless hearts and open our eyes so that we will examine our hearts before u as that Day draws closer! In Jesus name I pray!
I'm a LDS and brother Wilkerson's sermon certainly convicted me. I found myself weeping and wishing to be a better man.
Do you understand you cannot be better without Christ? You need to be born again by faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on Calvary because you are a sinner and condemned to hell.

Sometimes God allows some of us to feel how His heart breaks...that's the beginning of anguish. People like Pastor Wilkerson are few and far between. Society is desensitize by the media..... they don't feel any more. We need a heart of God so we can weep and empty ourselves and be humble. We need to help others.

How thankful the followers of "our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" should be - that thirteen years ago Pastor Wilkerson was willing to open his heart in real anguish, and preach this message - which is so much more valid NOW than when it was given:
"For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears;
not that ye should be grieved,
but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you."
(2 Corinthians 2:4, KJB)

Nick Nicholas -- For what it's worth, in response to your wondering, I've been in anguish myself for quite a while over the blasphemies, and the mocking of God, the churches having turned into 'dancing and entertainment centers', and on and on and *Lord, how long that list is* that is my anguished heart and pain for that which is in God's own heart! Yes, there are a *few* of us left with broken spirits because of that anguish in the Father's heart. I know that in *my* heart, those like us are *very* few and far between. May you be blessed always, and the Father lead you as you wish to be lead by His precious heart, so very torn and broken by this world where it seems a majority hates Him. No doubt that grieves you as it grieves me. No doubt, Brother Wilkerson, were he here today, would be in so much deeper anguish than he was five years ago. He was the last of his kind, his caliber, his heart for God. ..Brother, I wish you His peace.

I feel his pain for the church, the burden is no longer on his back he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus! It's time we need to be like Noah and bring our family I believe it can be the biggest challenge and the hardest our children see our mistakes and the way that we lived before Christ and in their mine's they believe that they can come to Jesus anytime that's true but time is running out they need to have a walk and a relationship with there Lord ! I have a 16 year old daughter who said she loves Jesus she's going to be Seventeen soon I asked her you believe in Jesus she says yes of course do you love him yes, then what you waiting for she replies I don't know I said if anything were to happen do you know where were you would go no and she says no it breaks my heart but that's the devil using my children and I come against you in the name of Jesus!! I said well mama knows where she would be I have a 24 year old son that receive Jesus when he was about 13 had a fire for him he's been part of the world for a while but the Lord is bringing him home Ive been praying for them for the Lord to put us under one roof no need for my son to be out there working so hard when we can be together as a family every night every day throughout the day I need to start praying and fasting I don't think I've ever put a prayer request on RUclips but I'm on my knees I want to be like Noah and bring my family with me please pray for me and that sweet 16 year old girl she's so tender-hearted the Lord has given her a gift she can pick pretty much any instrument that catches her eye and play it and she is innocent not too many girls like her nowadays and I just ask the Lord to keep her that way to give her a burning desire for his love and two separate herself from this world I thank you for your prayers in Jesus name amen!!

I praise God for this.. I've lived in a very dark tunnel for 1 year. Such conviction, such passion.. Churches need to play this sermon on Sunday mornings.. I am thankful for the conviction that I feel, even now.

I'm a mainline Presbyterian. While I might have some disagreements on points of theology with Rev. Wilkerson, I have to tell you that this is one of the best sermons I have ever heard. Truth comes from this man's mouth because God placed it in his heart.

I have watched the video or listened to the audio of this message about 10 times the last 2 weeks. God is putting a heart of anguish in me for the body of Christ, the Church. Until the Church sees it's sin and repents revival WILL NOT COME. My hearts cry is that the Church will wake up and return to it's First Love.
More people need to listen to this, even more so today. So many things are not right in this World, and I think people need to stop and re-think their lives and what they are doing day-to-day and are they really doing what God has asked of them.
You can feel it in your heart when God uses His vessel to speak to us.

“Have you no wish for others to be saved? Then you're not saved yourself, be sure of that!” charles Spurgeon. Yes we need a passion, and anguish for the lost, no matter if the are family or strangers. You can go through the motions, but without that passion that is all that it is is a motion.
Pastor David will be more anguish today because we're wasting our time in social media and other things that distracts our faith..
